Asahikawa is just a transit point. However, there are lots of delicious food and nice places. Ramen is the most delicious food. Each person has their favorite ramen. Thanks for tuning in! While exploring Asahikawa without a car is possible, navigating from bus stops might be a bit of a walk. If you're pressed for time, especially for spots like Otokoyama offering sake tasting, and if you plan to visit the zoo, opting for a taxi is a smart move. We used a taxi only to get to the hotel from the station on the arrival day and when we went to the airport. Also, except for Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum, all the places we visited were in a walkable distance from our hotel. Safe travels!
