Did anyone notice something there was a girl who was clearing garbage alone .. one of the main reason why foreigners don't like to come to India is unhygienic places
There should b some compulsory things in india
1) education about cleanliness from nursery
2) trips by school regarding cleaning of places
3) fine by law on societies and shopkeepers
4) institutes of all kinds should celebrate cleanliness day .
5) ban of tobacco
6) and reward to cities for being clean.
and also money

Cleanniness. Yes really it's the biggest reason i guess tourism is not increasing in india. Societies and shopkeepers and household all are culprits
yessir , here in indore, the population has evolved greatly, just seeing a person litter / spit is so rare , that even the uneducated ones now point it out right away , indore is bagging 1st price in "swacchta abhiyan" from consecutively 6 times, and know that this abhiyan also started 6 years ago !
and 6 years ago, the school going kids were first made like ambassadors of this abhiyan , i remember we making fun of the other students who had teh habit of throwing empty packets and things , then the workers played the key role, everyday the cleanliness increased and people's mindset that "india hai chalta hai" changed to "rehene dete hain , dustbin me hi fek do" to "dustbin ke alawa option hi nahi hai" now :)

The place looks so simple, clean and beautiful. Unfortunately in India, people still don't throw trash in the dustbin properly and some people also spit on the roads. I hope that Indian villages, towns and cities will also maintain cleanliness. The best example is Indore which is the cleanest city of India.
And I hope that people visit India and explore the ancient culture and heritage of it, not just Taj Mahal, Curry, 3 Idiots. For that we should keep the places clean.
We can't even keep properly clean our tourist & heritage spots...forget about regular streets nd public places

WE always feel like korea and japan are so developed because they have money but we often neglect the fact that keeping Hygine and maintaining cleanliness is their first and foremost contribution to the development of the country. they dont need big buildings and expensive cars to look rich. we indians are very lucky to have such a big country and full of resources yet we are far behind them because of our poor menatality . we throw garbages here and there and blame the government. we will never develop until and unless we change our mindset and change our aesthetics
true. there cities in foreign countries much poorer than delhi and Mumbai in per capita income but look very developed. all due to cleanliness
