I read and annotated this book in sept 2022 and it took me 8 or 9 days to do all that. I was not forcing myself to read fast but it just happened. Later in oct 2022, I was diagnosed with clinical depression due to certain reasons (not related to the book) and I was rereading the parts I annotated. When my therapist got to know I love reading books, she asked me what I was reading then. When she got to know I was reading excerpts from this book, she said not to read it and any such book like the journals of Sylvia Plath and other existential works. She said it could harm my mental health very badly. My mother gave my annotated copy of A Little Life to a cousin and I cried so much. But maybe the therapist was right. But I actually loved the book so much when I read it. I recommend it to everyone only if you're in a perfect mental condition and you are a very very very happy person. The book has every kind of trauma happening a person can think of.
I didn’t even read this book.I was crying watching you crying 😅omg. Now I feel that watching someone crying is more painful for me than crying myself alone in the middle of the night
I too started reading this book in June and read almost 170 pages I think but due to small font my eyes irritated so much I have to keep aside this book and since then I didnt read that book.. But after ur vlog I am going to start again reading this book but I'm sure i have forgot everything I read so may be I should re read everything....
I hope you heal from this book soon 🤍 I loved this vlog. You explained everything so well and honestly. Plus you kept it spoiler free! Thank you so much for this review. ❤ You look so cute. 💕🧿🌷📖
I am not criticizing but i don't think a book can make me cry and if you all think it can Please give me suggestions so that i can cry while reading a book (although i think a book can't make me cry that's my pov)❤
I am sorry to disturb you but someone named DeepNarayan in your video "My Bookshelf Tour" is bullying me for a few days now. He had crossed all the limits, please take action against him. I really love your channel but he makes it hard to watch you. Please please 🙏🙏🙏 😭😭😭
