This channel is hidden gold….I’ve been searching tutorials for over a month and your channel only now passed across my search with a really longtail keyword search while I was trying to see if I could throw a pattern to a sample while I live overplayed samples at the same time, capturing the pattern and live sample smashing onto one sample. I’m still not sure if that’s possible, but your channel has already taught me a dozen things I didn’t know and I’ve only been here 5 minutes. I’m spamming this channel everywhere in 404 groups 😊
Thank you for the kind words, glad my channel is helping you out! If you are trying to put a pattern on a sample and play live samples over it, you could record the pattern in the new looper mode and then play live samples over that. I’m pretty sure that would work.
If you want to merge patterns, I think the only way to do it right now is to resample both patterns to a pad and then link them together with pad link and they should both play at the same time.
It has happened to be a few times since I have updated to 4.04, but not in the last few days. I know Roland knows about it and I am sure they are working on a bug fix.

why is this not working for me? I hit Shift + Resample and it just starts recording
I like merging drum samples and perc samples
Have you tried the MUL function on this yet? I didn’t have much luck with finding any good combos but I didn’t use it for too long.

Do any of u have issues when resampling?? After i press resample and choose the pad on the sp it restart itself
