- I tried to make the title as long and as memeable as possible. lmao.
A father noble and proud, he soured through skies of fire. Then madness lowered its shroud, and warped his heart's desire.
Very hard:
Player damage: 70%
Enemy damage: 200%
Enemy speed & size: 120%

• FaderGuide - Made a lil break down on how I handle the hardest parts of this encounter (Translatable to any run with Fader, AI remains the same, you just have to manipulate his breath through positioning)

Keep in mind slight variations can happen, like Fader can interject one of the 3 minor ranged attacks (meteors, ring of fire, and even breath) before summons/groundspike aoe.

Near perfect run mechanically. I was wrong, there's no rng in this fight, it's all completely controllable and it's solved now. See flowcharts above! Also lmao this isn't my first go around in this, I've actually done No hit fader on very hard like 17? times now? but this is the first one with no rested and no pots. I have zero desire to do no rested no pots challenge again, waiting on stamina isn't exactly fun, and while it's cool to have to micro manage stamina even more, it's slower paced and less zoomer brain orientated (lol).

Been HARD gaming in V Rising, me and a buddy are currently working on a BRUTAL speedrun! We are super close to beating the NORMAL record! Honestly super hyped and it's a lotta work but it's giga fun. Also DOOM Eternal is a cool game.
5 Fader VH has been slain, hesitant to drop it though, idk, I think it's lame/uninteresting.
Next Valheim vid will be something special. I can promise that.

Out of control/in control lmao that's great. Yea sadly I'm completely used to just ignoring the nameplates all together and just looking for the bow vs sword on the charred. Wished they would fix that, but whatever I guess. Clearly don't need correct nameplates to do this challenge :P
5 Fader VH is just like, me running around with staff of wilds (which does insane damage on VH because the roots are an entity and therefore buffed by the preset doing 200% more damage) and whenever my bubble breaks I just bubble glide. The adds get completely nullified by the roots and any random aoes that fader does, so it's just like the hardest part of the boss gets effectively eliminated. IDK, doesn't hit the same as the Queen challenge did for me.
Edit: Also doesn't help that 5 Fader VH is literally like 95? minutes long, I could prolly get a faster kill but I personally don't enjoy the challenge so there's not much motivation to do it.
Scales, omigawd! Watching your stamina bar was NERVEWRACKING!! That was insane...amazing job. Glad you mentioned the music in comments - I LOVE it!!!
Glad you enjoyed! The discipline it took sometimes to not greed damage and save on stamina was the hardest part of this encounter for me.

Great gameplay! Sometimes I feel like its easier to solo late game bosses than kill them with the group due to the amount of lag everytime host changes

I've already killed 5 Fader VH, I actually did it before this challenge. I personally don't enjoy watching it and don't think I will upload it. I try to make content that I personally enjoy so if there's something that I feel meh about or just don't like I 100% won't make it public.
Also yea, I'll make the community post soon but I think I'm mostly done with Valheim. My hearts really not in it anymore and after a pretty meh update in Ashlands it's just time for a new adventure. Hate to see it honestly, I really like this little small corner of the internet I have, but all good things come to an end.
My last Valheim vid will be a montage of everything I've done and an edited down full playthrough, but past that it's goodbye for now.
