I just had to comment here to say thank you for your amazing work! You have no idea how much I appreciate these videos. I've been playing piano by myself on and off for maybe about 1,5 years, and as a major fan of Nils Frahm, these videos have inspired me to play and learn so much more and I have learned so many songs through your videos! So thank you again!
+gerald02121 I think Nils are (among others) the post-minimalism generation. The're impregnated with the things minimalism teach us, an are moving ahead...
+Sorina Cazacu I don't know what you mean by 'original' but there are many versions of this piece, and this one is from the 'master himself' too, as in ua-cam.com/video/yumi4f59ITI/v-deo.html I'll send you a mp3 if you want to, it's really beautiful, it's my favorite too. But thanks anyway!
I just started learning piano and am excited to learn this and other Frahm pieces. I've got the first part down, but I'm wondering - what key is this piece in?
@@AnnemieVanRielPiano yeah but when you knwo how to read sheet while you play you aren't scared to forget how to play a song. But what i liek from learning by heart a song is that you can fully concentrate on the interpretation :> (sorry for my english). Anyway thanks for the video!
How can so little movement and effort create such beauty .
I believe it's called genius. At least that's what I call him.

very minimilist phillip glass style. love it.
+brandon bussieres I prefer calling it nils frahm style ;) more apt

@@gerald02121 the inspiration is undeniable but this is not a bad thing. It sounds like an interpretation of the title "Opening" from Glass.
Отлично.
Amazing.
Amazing! Could you do Winter Morning I by Nils?

THANXS, PLASE KIND - NILS FRAHM
This is surprising. I listened to the live intepretation, and now I'm sure: I like yours much more than the original!

+Annemie Van Riel I think she mixed this one with the other "space" in album "felt" 2011
+黄昏小巷 I didn't mix anything (I woudn't dare to), it's this one: vimeo.com/150368616

thanks for that! I know it's a shame but i'm so slow ans lazy to read sheet :
a sheet is just an old invention to hold and share music as a video is today
