I NEVER defended Trump in this conversation, the only individual I talked about was Michael Jackson.
It doesn't matter what some people do with their "perversions," you can't enforce thought crimes. Child molestation and statutory rape are crimes, you can only punish actions. However, you don't know their motivations until you try them in court and the intensity of their actions is fairly weighed by a judge and jury.
The only stories of Trump I'm familiar with its the accusation of molesting a 13 year old and walking in on teenagers. I don't know the physical features of the 13 year old, but technically the rest isn't pedophilia. It's ephebophilia, the attraction of an adult to an adolescent.
Yes I'll defend pedophiles, because they shouldn't be arrested unless they act on their urges. However, that's more so me _respecting the law_, unlike you. If you're hoping the government illegally keeps tabs on me and arrests me for thought crimes based on facts and reality, then you opened yourself up to be arrested for similar things.

I agree, Trump does crosses the boundary, a lot more than should be acceptable if the other accusations against him are correct. That, however, doesn't really address my argument.
I don't really think he's getting away with it because of loopholes. In fact, we don't know if he's getting away with anything. Loopholes would be technicalities that, despite being proven without a shadow of a doubt in a court of law to be found guilty, a small detail in place for whatever reason allows him to get off free. Say, if you had a tape of him doing said act, but it was an illegally obtained document (say, stolen off of his phone). The court wouldn't be allowed to use illegally obtained evidence, and if that is all you had as proof, he'd get off. That, however, wouldn't be in place because of the rich, it would be there to protect innocent people from incriminating themselves, and he used it to his benefit.
I don't know what loopholes being rich helps you exploit in this case, I can only see bribery being applicable in this sort of offense. However, he's only now being taken to court because only now was a proper case made for one of his allegations. If he did do it, and he is found guilty in a court of law, I hope he is prosecuted fairly and justice is served in the appropriate manner.
And yes, Trump is very thin-skinned. However, I'd like you to keep in mind that any president has the power to execute that unconstitutional law for whatever reason, so you shouldn't be so eager to subject others to it.

I've never liked the term "non-consensual sex", because without consent it's not sex. It's rape. Simple as that. If one person doesn't consent, it is no longer sex. It's rape. I know that this is just semantics, but I can't help thinking that continuing to call it sex leads to a underwhelming response to these crimes because people still think of it sex. I think that if we are going to work towards dismantling "rape culture" then the first step is to firmly define, for the American public, what rape is.

Yes, because legally consent can not be given if your a minor, only a legal adult. The same would be the case if someone was mentally unable to give legal consent because of mental health or illness. So consent is still the magic word some people just don't have the power to give consent.

In fairness to the stain of a human being that is Rich Limbaugh, it appeared that the focal point for him was not that consent isn't important, it's that for liberals consent is the ONLY thing that matters. So his comment was regarding how that's the ONLY thing that gets the police to come in and do anything. He thinks they should come in and arrest people for much more than just lack of consent.

I have created a contract of acts that are acceptable and not acceptable which we should both read and sign before we begin," that there is the possibility that a man will be treated guilty until proven innocent if a rape allegation is later made. This is a reality as there has been instances of "morning after allegations" where a woman is horny the night before and then cries rape in the following days. In some cases, there may even be malicious intent behind it.
