With the exception being Automata I/II and the Parallax EP, I’m fortunate to have seen all these albums performed in their entirety live, including Colors THREE separate times. This band rips, and every single one of those dudes is a virtuoso in their own right. I love it.
A nice compilation of this, like you said, LEGENDARY band. Such an excellent discography. Also, Im blown away by that Black Box riff in Telos 🤯 I've been religiously listening to this band for 8 years and I still find new things! Great video!!
Thanks for watching! I plan to do this type of video with other bands too! I'm currently working on both Haken and Dream Theater. Let me know what other bands you would like to see!
Another reference in Silent Flight is in the part Tommy sings "I know what I must do", the bass plays the Telos melody during the bridge "goodbye to all I've know I love you" 🤯
Missed some of these or at least took them for granted. Thanks for this. Edit: easy to miss variations of a theme within the same track could be another rabbit hole, if you really want to keep busy.

I also heard that in Telos there is a reference to Disease, Injury, Madness. The ending of that song is referenced in the start of Telos.
This video is just another perfect example of why BTBAM is the greatest band of all time.
It sure is!

Omg, the Sfumato reference to Viridian/White Walls blew my mind. I never noticed.
Colors is one song, lets be honest here💚
Humid as Hell hahaha ? Nice one.
Every time I listen to this band I hear and learn something new
Fuck ya, dude! I was hoping someone would do this! You the best.
Oh man there was a lot I learned from this. Thank you. These guys are actual masters.
Waiting for the three-hour video on devin townsend self-references
Oh if I do that video it would definitely pass the three hour mark 😂
3 hours to mention 1/3 of his references? What kind of speedrunner you have to be?
5:09 what makes it better, is that in background you can hear that exact piece from Silent Flight Parliament
Every. Fucking. Time. Hahahaha
@@snuffjae89every time like the first time
Bro thank you for this
Same album referencin is kind of stretching what i expected from this video but still good
Bro, this is fucking wicked
You forgot Shevanel cut a flip and Shevanel Take 2 🤓
Alright now do King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard
The similarities and references between PetroDragonic Apocalypse and Silver Cord. Mirrored track by track.
