Hey everyone! I have a more recent version of this video that covers some other common conure sounds and behaviours here : ua-cam.com/video/ovfYDqrzw_I/v-deo.html
Conures, as well as other parrots, are extremely smart creatures. They are obviously social as the video points out and require a certain amount of bonding. Owning a bird is a great responsibility and training isn't a quick endeavor. They have to have the right diet, exercise, interaction, and medical care. So many people buy these magnificent creatures for all the wrong reasons and the bird's fate can end up being tragic. I'm glad to see that someone appreciates their beauty and intelligence. Thank you, David.
Hey there, Thanks for the kind comment! I totally agree, both me and Sophie try our best to produce lots of educational content to help people out with how to look after them!
I've just gotten a 6 weeks old dusky head conure... so I'm learning as much as possible to understand it. Thank you so much for an informative clip; it surely will help a lot of 1st timers
There’s this low pitched grumbling sound almost every conure I’ve known has made, it’s usually when they have an attitude or they’re a little angry. I call it conure cursing. For some odd reason my quaker does those sounds too and I’ve never seen a quaker so it, and he doesn’t live with conures
Definitely a common conure sound! They make it for so many different reasons though. We usually call it grumbling or fussing ! I think I talked a bit more about it in my latest conure sound video! Interesting your Quaker makes it too!

Just got my first conure and this video was great for clarifying! A lot of the noises and body language you can intuitively pick up on but there was some great information. Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺 🙏
Hey there! Glad it was useful! I have a few more videos on conure behaviour on my channel (it has its own playlist now lol) if you want to learn more. That's very true. Just being observant can tell us so much about what our conures mood is like.
You didn't go over the stress quack!! It's my favorite noise, even though it means the bird is upset. It's just the funniest sound though! My conure would do it every so often for the first few days that we had her and eventually stopped after getting used to our house!
My bird likes to cuddle and make kissing noises and preen my eyebrows. He always goes right for the eyebrows (I got quite bushy eyebrows too)... I feel like Im at the salon
This is a wonderful compilation of their noises! I have a 7 year old Greencheek named Rupert. Sadly, he was abused prior to me getting him in 2017, so some of his noises are a little different to your flocks'. His contact call is kind of a multipurpose one. Sometimes he just wants someone in the room with him, and sometimes he's just really excited, and wants to tell the whole world about it (while holding a pepper or other piece of food in his foot!). The best way I can describe it, is "bajaaaaaaant!". It's one of his loudest vocalizations. His alarm call is very much like Scampi's, and sometimes can be accompanied by the "brrrrr" noise that you call growling. I usually associate it with him being scared, because his body usually flattens, and he may take off flying, if he's scared enough. He also has another very wild sound, that I discern as major distress, and that's his "rap-ba-bap!" call. Rupert is a night owl, and would much rather stay up really late, and fall asleep on a human's lap. One time, after being tucked in his sleep cage for the night, he started sounding off that distress call, and I really did think he was in mortal danger, and I rushed in to see what was wrong. He was fine! He was just protesting bed time. But, since I reacted the way I did, he's learned that he will be uncovered if he "cries wolf" and sounds like he's in dire trouble. Like Scampi, Rupert also gets pretty worked up over jingly balls, so we do have to be careful there. Rupert has never done the anxious peep, but instead uses the "brrrrrreee" in a trill (it's a more extended version of his scared noise), as if to say "don't leave!" Rupert only squeals when we "wrestle". He leaps on to a towel over my hands (like a bird-sized trampoline) and he squeals with delight. It's one of the exercises I started doing with him, to help him loosen up and learn to play. He still has some remnant fears from his past that we're working on. As far as acquired noises, he is actually very clear! He can say "watcha want?", "what are you doin'?", or sometimes he mashes those up in to "what doin' do?". He can also bark very quietly (we don't have a dog, and there's no TV in the room, so we have no idea where that one came from!), and he can't whistle, but he tries really hard to mimic his flockmate's (Sherbet is a Peachfaced Lovebird) wolf whistle, by simply saying "wee-a-weet!". We're not certain, but he also has one sound, that sounds like he says "Ru-errr" sometimes... maybe as an attempt at his name? He also slurps. I would make those sounds to encourage him to try new foods (while pretending to eat those foods myself), and ever since then, he uses it whenever he wants a bite of whatever you've got in your hands. You have to make sure it's something he can actually have, because as you probably know, they are really good at guilt-tripping humans.
They certainly can be very good at training and guilt tripping us lol They know how to get their way! It is also true that they have their own unique vocalisations dependant on experience! There are common ones but they tend to vary! Which I think is awesome! Sounds like a real pair of characters!
My conure when defiant, the male, will always move his head from left to right, hissing. I wonder for months when it came from until I realized he was actually considering the sponge on the table a "rival", showing is territory. So everytime we are cleaning up the table, he shows the cage is their own my doing this. So know, he also uses this to show to people that his cage is his own or that an item or even the chair belongs to him . It's impressive how they tend to memorize their own codes. By sister bred them, she is her a conure breeder, and the ones at my place clearly developed element of language and communication specific to them. These birds are really amazing. I like your videos they help me understand some things better and also to correct my mistakes!
Hey Nicolas, I'm glad the videos are useful! They certainly are amazing creatures and they do indeed have their own form of simple language and communication. Conures have loads of vocalisations!
My moms conure mimics my cough. And when he wants out of the cage he say pineapple, right here , look at me. It’s not perfect English.. but to the best of his ability he lets me know when he wants out of the cage to explore.
Hey Madyssen, If you want to send me a clip on insta I'd be curious to hear the noise and can maybe identify it! Hissing isn't normally a common conure noise, it's possible she learned it or it's just her version of something else they do!
@@TheParrotTeacher I’ll definitely try my best to send you a clip of her hissing, she’s a little camera shy though. I’d love to know what her little noises mean! (:
My conure plays outside all day and he mimics the other birds. Apparently, he mimics the sounds of magpies and woodpeckers; I dunno that is what my friend who used to be a logger told me. His alarm is loud and very sharp. Connor only makes the sound that this guy demonstrated when he is playing with a toy and when he looks for me, he has different tones of "peek a boo", sometimes loud and sometimes quiet. I think my bird is defective.
I guess because she's an 'only bird,' my conure uses a lot of acquired noises. I'm surprised by how effective she is at communicating with them. Some of them would be "Bye bye!" When I'm about to leave for work, kiss noises and "peekaboo" when she wants attention, "cuddle!" for scritches, and "Pippin treat!/Gimmie treat!/you wanna treat?" uh... Pretty much all the time! Probably shouldn't've taught her that one, lol.
The flock call, alarm call, beak grinding, and chatting squealing definitely sounds the most familiar, I miss Ruby and Jade. Jade was probably the loudest of the both.
I just love all of this information (also on your other videos). My pineapple is a little girl that will be 7 in July. Have her since she was a baby. She sans "baby" and all sorts of giberish that I do not yet compréhension. She un rôles toilet paper, pushes everything from tables, counters on the floor (coffee cups, water glasses, tv control, my cell, etc). When I do dises she eats the soap, take a bath in a pan on the stove for pasta, takes a bath in the dog or cat's bowl, dives into my peanut butter or jam jar all you see is a tail popping out, she hides in the cupboard, once found her in the fridge (she was there just a few seconds), she likes to terrorize my other birds. I can go on and on. I have to watch her all the time. But she's a cuddle ball and looks at you with these loving eyes like to say "I love you mum". She's like a teenager with TDHD. In three words "She's lovable". With this ball of feathers, you definitely are not bored.
Thank you Michelle! They are definitely little terrors. I can remember a time when we wouldn't have even considered conures over other parrots...now we have 3 lol
Hello to Scampi, Pickles, Olive and their wonderful parents 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗, one hug each... From Oscar and his Mummylein. May we have a video call together. You've helped me be a Conure. Thank you so much for your inspirational personalities.
Thank you for this great info. My conure makes a trilling sound that I would like to understand. He first screams, then I respond in a soothing voice from another room, then he starts making a softer trilling sound
It’s possible it’s a variant of a growl! Many conures vocalise to indicate moods and this is often through growling, squealing etc! (I have a video on that too!)
my conure hears your birds when I watch your videos and she trys to chime in and sounds like she is trying to communicate with them. i only have one bird and is it healthy for her to hear and try to interact with your birds sounds? i would think it would be healthy for her.
Hey Lisa, That's very cute! It's normal for her to react to the sounds of other conures. We occasionally put on videos of other birds to ours and they enjoy them. I'd say put it on once in a while, but don't leave other conure sounds on for any length of time. This is because it could cause frustration, stress (where are these birds?!) or lead to hormonal behaviour.
Thank you for an interesting video on Conures, what lovely birds you have. There is a great similarity between Conure sounds and budgie sounds, and meanings. I've not had a Conures for many years, recently, started keeping budgies again. I have more time to take notice of my birds now I'm retired.
It is interesting how different species can use similar sounds. I'm a big fan of budgies and noticed a couple of similarities too! I really want to do a sound/meaning video for them but don't currently have any!
Gator (my new turquoise yellow-sided GC) and I loved this video! Where'd you get the lovely royal parrot paintings? He is insisting on having his portrait painted now ;)
Thank you! I have lots more on conures on the channel! I think the ones in this video are from an old unboxing I did! If you search parrot portrait on my channel it should come up with links etc
0:52 So true! I had friends who asked me how I could tell the difference between my two GCCS. I pointed out a couple of visual differences; they were equally impressed when I showed them I could tell the difference between the two of them with my back turned - just by their voices. Sadly, both of my babies passed away within the last 18 months. They were 22 and almost 26. My 25 YO passed away the most recently: in February this year. RIP to my Jade and Jem 😢😓😢😓😢
@@TheParrotTeacher yes, they did live full lives. I had gotten Jade when he was around 8 weeks old, so I was blessed to have him for almost 26 years. And Jem, who passed away before Jade, I'd had for 21 of his 22 years. I did actually adopt a 9 YO GCC last year a few months after Jem had died because Jade and I were horribly devastated. Her name is Ollie; she's a handful; and I adore her! 🙂
This was awesome thankyou! My conure makes an ear-piercing screech when people in the room get very excited. It sounds like a truck reversing beep! very frustrating haha and makes everyone cover their ears
Glad it was useful! I have more on my channel too! Ahh our new conure does that! I think it's mostly an attention noise or for some even an alarm call!
Hey there! It's one of their cutest noises. But also comes in so many different forms. Scampi growls, Pickles growls sometimes but then "snuffles" other times and Olive just like to squeal lol
I love your videos, they confirm what they have taught me! Lol Do you know what it means when they put their beak on the counter and push it along? I cant figure it out or if it just means shes being silly. Thanks for any suggestions you may have!
my conure makes this low noise like a hiccup and twitch back her wings at the same time, I am going to the vet in 2 days to check her out. she is only 12 weeks old.
That is definitely one I missed in a form. I need to do a part 2 as I missed a few others that were tough to film. Ours tend to squeal or squeak when happy with food!
I got my GCC at 6 weeks old.... He's my first and ONLY parrot. I realized after watching serval videos, that my boy only makes 2 typical conure sounds.... The rest he's learned from me. He doesn't sit and scream like normal birds...He goes thru all the phrases he knows! Lol
My 23 year old doesn't make any of these noises. Instead it repeats its name endlassly, then can sound like a dogs squeak toy; Gets visibly loud when I head to the door realizing I'm leaving and also imitates the sound of my car starting. It has picked up almost a dozen phrases, a deep humming sound and my laugh. It has absolutely no fear of anyone or anything.
@@TheParrotTeacher yeah my dog knows not to come into the animal room, but when she does break that rule my conure lets me know 🤣 he's such a snitch my dog will never get the chance to get away with it. And she knows as soon as he screams she runs and hides. Lol
My conures start clicking to each other before all of them take off suddenly and start flying around the house/room in a flock. 😂 It’s like they are warning each other that they are about to start flying and then they all decide to fly into a new room. I think they do that because I use a treat clicker to show them that I am about to broom (they are afraid of it, but using a clicker calms them down and got them to be okay with it👍🏻)
My conure, he (maybe a she) started making a hissing noise. He isn’t mean when he does it, but he also keeps stretching his head higher and higher when doing it. If you put your teeth on your bottom lip and just slightly blow, that’s what it sounds like. I don’t know where he picked it up.
They definitely have a huge variety of sounds! It’s tough to get them all recorded and also reliably say “this is that” so I tried to stick to common ones!
@@TheParrotTeacher love it! You’re videos are so good bro thanks for the reply! I was looking for this little purrrr noise he makes and see if you knew what it means!
@@DextersIslandAdventures you could always record it and send it to me on Instagram! Most purring or similar sounds tend to fall under what I usually call “growling” which can mean a few things!
Hi! My conure makes these little “quack noises” but they’re low in volume and kind of deep, it’s when he walks around and he tends to like squat his body when he makes these noises simantaneously. What is this noise?
I want to report that my conure "Hoby" has recovered somewhat from his stroke a month ago. He has gotten quiet-er and calmer which I love, since I was given him to me by someone who was going to do something bad to him for he screams. Really at times I would go crazy...now he has perched himself for most of the days. He still feels safer to eat and night long sleep at the bottom. I found your channel when I was desperate to find out what to do. You have been a part of his healing because of your kind words during a rough time. I have had him for over 50 yrs myself. Make sure you all want something in your life for possible a long visit. Love hearing everyone's comments about their birds.
Hey Maryann, I'm really glad he's doing well. I'm also glad that we have been able to provide some support and comfort with the difficult times. Me and Sophie have had them too and it's great to hear kind words or just to see nice videos! He's a distinguished man and it's great he's eating, relaxing and acting semi normally even if a little more quietly lol
Do you know what a long beep like a microwave is? My conure does it when I walk in from outside. It's definitely not aquired because he's done it since 10 weeks old.
Hey Jasmine, From the description I would guess at excitement or surprise at you coming back! Olive does something similar (assuming I'm imagining the sound right!)
Hey Logan, They can favour one person over another. It can sometimes be worth the other person doing some training and positive interactions to keep the relationship between "flock mates" stable!
Hi! I need help. This is my first Conure, and I’m a bit confused with the signs he’s showing. He’s only 9 weeks. So whenever I speak or a bit to close (maybe pass his cage) he does a little body twitch with a anxious chirp. (I think that’s what u call it) It’s just confusing, he loves to clime and cuddle me, but he doesn’t enjoy it when I accidentally touch him or move. This is his first full day here, as I got him yesterday. Any tips?
Hey Ella, Firstly as you just got him he is still going to be a little unsure and nervous of his new surroundings. Conures especially tend to be a little extra friendly at first then get a little more "naughty" when they settle in a bit. This isn't always the way and he may be totally fine, or he may end up biting/nipping a little. He's probably used to humans but is unsure of you! I think he just needs time to settle in and get used to things. Don't force interactions, let him set the pace and just take it in a relaxed way! I'd work on establishing a loose routine with him so he knows what to expect (not totally rigid, but general theme), treat him when you can and just be around him. You could also start with some target training and step up training with him.
Hey everyone!

Did he address it? One of mine hisses and clucks
Thank you! Jazz and Tweeters said to tell your conure "
Hi!"
Hey Don,
No problems and Hi right back to them!
Hey Medea,
I wouldn't say he's defective lol! Sounds like he's been picking up lots of cool sounds he wants to show off to you!
They learn very quickly, especially if the sounds they acquire are linked to things they want!
The flock call, alarm call, beak grinding, and chatting squealing definitely sounds the most familiar, I miss Ruby and Jade. Jade was probably the loudest of the both.
Beak grinding is always my fave!
Olive squealing is the best noise!
It so is!
my olive is also screaming
@@largewaff Definitely a conure thing lol
Thank you Doris!
I’m going to get a conure on Saturday and I just found your videos! I love your videos it helps me more to understand my new bird💕
Hey Annika,
Glad it was helpful! What's your conure going to be named?
@@TheParrotTeacherIm form Norway and her last owner called her “frøken” and that means “lady”
@@annikahuusvatland442 Sounds cute to me!
I can relate to the bird not doing the trick when you're trying to show someone. It's like they think its funny
Hey there,
Yeah that's definitely birds for you lol. The training helps lots but sometimes they just don't want to!
@@TheParrotTeacher they're always perfect until you try and show someone ! Little brats.
@@midnightskittles8032 Haha for sure!
Hey Lisa,
That's very cute!
Our conure likes to fly up to me and chatter in my ear when she wants me to take her out of my brothers room to my room.
Hey there,
Haha sounds like she's training you!
Thats so helpful, thank you so much ! I can now tell that my conure is anxious everytime I get too close to her.
I'm glad it was useful! I have lots of other conure content on my channel!
Oscar loves watching this video, thank you for sharing
I'm glad Oscar enjoyed! I have more conure themed videos!
I call my conure’s growling his dinosaur sounds, I love it so much 🥹
Us too! It’s cute!
I really want to do a sound/meaning video for them but don't currently have any!
my conure loves to quack more than anything 🥰
Hah that's adorable!
Mine has some weird talking noises at night, it’s adorable but kinda scary.
Hey Hiravo!
Like chatting or squeeling? Ours sometimes do that too lol
@@TheParrotTeacher kinda, it happens more at night when she’s tired. it’s like she’s trying to say words but it’s just gibberish
@@hiravo That sounds like usual conure relaxing to me! All of our conures have their own version of it, it can be a little odd lol
Pickles is so! Adorable 😍😃😃
Hey Ramon!
Thanks, we think so too! All of our birds have such personalities!
Great video! We used to have lovebirds and, although the actual sounds were different, they did pretty much the same type of sounds.
Hey Samuel,
Glad it was useful!
My conure mimics my laughs, sneezes and cough 🤣 Sometimes I scream and he screams with me
Haha that's adorable! They are so funny how they copy noises!
Kipling likes to scream and mimic people blowing noses lol
0:52 So true! I had friends who asked me how I could tell the difference between my two GCCS. I pointed out a couple of visual differences; they were equally impressed when I showed them I could tell the difference between the two of them with my back turned - just by their voices.
Sadly, both of my babies passed away within the last 18 months. They were 22 and almost 26. My 25 YO passed away the most recently: in February this year.
RIP to my Jade and Jem 😢😓😢😓😢
Sorry to hear it but at least they had good long lives! That’s old age for conures!!
Great info! Now I know my birds wants to get “naughty” with me
Can happen often with conures and their fave humans!
I've always wondered about that growling noise 😂 my conure likes to growl in my ear.
Hey there!
It's one of their cutest noises. But also comes in so many different forms. Scampi growls, Pickles growls sometimes but then "snuffles" other times and Olive just like to squeal lol
Oh, I'm so glad I found your channel. Your Conure are all wonderful. Great video
Hey Meg,
Thank you, they are cute little monsters for sure!
Hi I’m new too! I just got my cinnamon green cheek conure yesterday and this video help me. 😊
Awesome!
I love your videos, they confirm what they have taught me! Lol
Do you know what it means when they put their beak on the counter and push it along? I cant figure it out or if it just means shes being silly. Thanks for any suggestions you may have!
my conure makes this low noise like a hiccup and twitch back her wings at the same time, I am going to the vet in 2 days to check her out. she is only 12 weeks old.
my birbs were making a lot of noise during this. they totally 'got it'! "yo that bird bro is in distress!"
Lol my videos tend to get other parrots riled up! Not sure if it’s a compliment or not though!
what about the happy feeding sound..all our conures do it when they get fresh food and seed....like a soft happy /purring sort of sound?
That is definitely one I missed in a form. I need to do a part 2 as I missed a few others that were tough to film.
Ours tend to squeal or squeak when happy with food!
Now I want a Pickle lol. Thank you for the video.
She is a real star! No problems!
My conure chirps loudly and quickly and repeatedly when he sees the roomba vac and/or the RC car. Is that the alarm call?
It could potentially be, or an excited/stress noise!
Lol
That’s not unusual! Conures will often learn from their environment and mimic sounds! I have lots more videos on them on my channel!
The deep humming is likely his version of a growl! As for the other noises it seems they have learned lots of interesting things!
4:17 my bird ditched this noise and replaced it with me going “huh?” “Hm?” “Eh?”
Haha that's adorable! Scampi likes to repeat his name sometimes instead of growling!
Great video!!! Thank you for sharing and all the long hrs of recording this took.
Hey Holly,
Glad you enjoyed and thank you!
I love your showing on utube I’m bonding with my meyers parrot

I thought my conure was purring but really he’s just growling
Hey Shelby,
They do love to growl! Also because their noises are unique they can have all kinds of little twists to them!
My conure got overstimulated watching this video 😅 he was all puffy and chatting up a storm, occasionally lunging at my phone 😂
Hey Cheyenne,
Clearly a very exciting video! Or he just really liked our conures lol
My conure always be begging for attention in the morning or when I come back from school

i couldn't watch this video cus every time your parrot makes a sound mine screams soper loud😄
Haha I've had that before! Conures just love screaming at other conures!
Thankyou for this informative video❤
My pleasure 😊 plenty more on the channel!
My conure does the alarm call when he sees my dog in the other room peering in.
Clearly a conure who knows danger when he see's it! Or at least a creature that may steal food!
@@TheParrotTeacher yeah my dog knows not to come into the animal room, but when she does break that rule my conure lets me know 🤣 he's such a snitch my dog will never get the chance to get away with it. And she knows as soon as he screams she runs and hides. Lol
@@MultiPearlJammer Haha conures are such terrors but in a funny way!
Love the images behind you... Are they available for sale? I am love the videos by the way
These were made for us by a company called Cool Canva!
@@TheParrotTeacher Thsnk you!
My conures start clicking to each other before all of them take off suddenly and start flying around the house/room in a flock. 😂 It’s like they are warning each other that they are about to start flying and then they all decide to fly into a new room. I think they do that because I use a treat clicker to show them that I am about to broom (they are afraid of it, but using a clicker calms them down and got them to be okay with it👍🏻)
Hey there,
That's adorable! It's so cute how they all fly off and around together! Also sensible way of using a clicker to desense there too!
My bird is afraid of the broom too! Also a mop.
Maybe they think its a big spider.
I was talking to a conure in a pet shop, it told me a long story, too pity all in parrot language.
Better work on your growling and squealing!
Exactly what I needed thanks!
Glad it was useful!
Hi, what is the twee twee sound in the background when pickles is beak grinding please.
My green cheek female does it occasionally
That sound was likely our cockatiels!
My conure, he (maybe a she) started making a hissing noise. He isn’t mean when he does it, but he also keeps stretching his head higher and higher when doing it. If you put your teeth on your bottom lip and just slightly blow, that’s what it sounds like. I don’t know where he picked it up.
That’s a tough one to identify without seeing it! It could be a few things!
Love those pictures
Thank you!
Great video although my conure makes another 20 sounds 😂
They definitely have a huge variety of sounds!
It’s tough to get them all recorded and also reliably say “this is that” so I tried to stick to common ones!
@@TheParrotTeacher love it! You’re videos are so good bro thanks for the reply! I was looking for this little purrrr noise he makes and see if you knew what it means!
@@DextersIslandAdventures you could always record it and send it to me on Instagram!
Most purring or similar sounds tend to fall under what I usually call “growling” which can mean a few things!
Great video thanks.. thinking.of getting a conure but I'm weary of noise..the walls between myself and my neighbour are thin.
Glad it was helpful! They can be very noisy sometimes!
There is a sound for requiring a shower. It is really remarkable
They learn and link sounds like humans in many ways. Conure's can create calls to let us know all sorts!
I love their names! So cute :)
Thank you!
Hi! My conure makes these little “quack noises” but they’re low in volume and kind of deep, it’s when he walks around and he tends to like squat his body when he makes these noises simantaneously. What is this noise?
Sadly it’s tough to know without hearing it and seeing the behaviour! If you can record it and send it to me on Instagram I can be of more help!
Hey Maryann,
I'm really glad he's doing well. I'm also glad that we have been able to provide some support and comfort with the difficult times. Me and Sophie have had them too and it's great to hear kind words or just to see nice videos!
He's a distinguished man and it's great he's eating, relaxing and acting semi normally even if a little more quietly lol

Thanks Yamuna! :D
Do you know what a long beep like a microwave is? My conure does it when I walk in from outside. It's definitely not aquired because he's done it since 10 weeks old.
Hey Jasmine,
From the description I would guess at excitement or surprise at you coming back! Olive does something similar (assuming I'm imagining the sound right!)
If my wife touches my conure's toys she gets really mad and tries to bite her then laughs. Really only likes me typically
Hey Logan,
They can favour one person over another. It can sometimes be worth the other person doing some training and positive interactions to keep the relationship between "flock mates" stable!
I'm a fan now sorry kirmet but i think that conures are better than a cocktail
Hey there!
Haha thank you! They are awesome, but we love cockatiels too!

Chatting and squeaking- like it when you were too shy to demonstrate. Really your video. Liked the background pictures too. Nice video
Hey Clare,
Thanks for the kind comment!
Hi! I need help. This is my first Conure, and I’m a bit confused with the signs he’s showing. He’s only 9 weeks. So whenever I speak or a bit to close (maybe pass his cage) he does a little body twitch with a anxious chirp. (I think that’s what u call it)
It’s just confusing, he loves to clime and cuddle me, but he doesn’t enjoy it when I accidentally touch him or move. This is his first full day here, as I got him yesterday.
Any tips?
Hey Ella,
Firstly as you just got him he is still going to be a little unsure and nervous of his new surroundings.
Great advice bro!
Hey Cesar,
Thank you!
