Toazted meet again with techno legend DJ Billy Nasty! This time at the Brighton Music Festival. He talks about techno of the past and today and of DJ's versus Producers. By-the-way, did you know he is a Guinness World Record holder for the first commercially released DJ mix?
"The nature of Techno keeps it fresh!"
Some of the best nights of my life were spent lost in the middle of a dance floor whilst Billy mixed magic !
Absolute legend this fella 👏
My favorite DJ 92-95
I remember the days when he upstaged Sasha and Digweed at Renaissance, still my favourite Dj ever
Seen Billy at Club UK, Lakota, UFO club, Universe rave. Such cool music
Top DJ, Top bloke. 100% respect. Unlike a lot of todays DJs , he can really mix vinyl.
He was a legend in Leeds, UK, playing the basement and packing it every time.
He was a LEGEND in Ireland 🇮🇪 played all the biggest venues an festivals here he was loved here. Temple bar music centre legendary sets
Safe to say he IS a legend end of story. Bugged Out in Manchester, Voodoo in Liverpool, Atomic Jam in Birmingham and not forgetting Back to Basics, Leeds.
@@drubber007 I was there at B2B nearly every time
@@loungelizardsounds Good times!
Bugged Out!, Voodoo & Atomic Jam....them were the days!
Used to buy records in Camden in Zoom back in the day. Spent a bloody fortune that I never had haha
However the technology moves there will always be vinyl, I play it still even though it's easier to play music on CDJs.
total legend :) x
