Im no main odete, but whenever i meet someone play her in high rank, they are insanely good, ppl really underestimed her passive, even without uly she can easily melt squisi hero
If Odette maintains her passive stacks she can easily burst enemies without using her ult, especially when the enemies underestimate and get close to her lol

I think it doesn't matter if the hero is not meta, it depends on the user. Mage has a huge role in a game and for me, I think I need to maximize and learn each heroes strength and weakness.
Not just that, but the others have great repositioning capabilities and survivability. If were talking about range, then Lylia sucks at that too but as a Lylia main shes still good due to her having a decent survivability (aka her ultimate) and the fact that her passive increases ur mov speed
The best way i hv used odette is to counter assassins and squishy fighters that want to go close range. I build semi tanky and still can oneshot them in midgame. Altho nowadays i hv no such success :(
I don't think this mage is weak, there's just little to no users of this hero unlike heroes that are too flashy and everybody wants too play. but as for my experience this mage is so good for clashes.

When I play Odette I always got underestimated coz they think I'm ez kill but Odette is one of those heroes that can turn the tide if used strategically. But I must say she's a situational pick especially now that they remove the blink after the ult we have to go back using flicker instead of purify.
as an odette player i rlly disgree. the reason shes not good is bc current meta favors assassin junglers with lots of mobility and can tower dive. any character who cant easily escape them or CC them to hell and back has fallen off. odette also gets hard countered by kadita who can easily interrupt her ult since she cant dash out of kadita CC as of now
@@atoz4497 we all know that already it's given, that's why mages that are mostly used are the ones that has range + cc or instant burst, also I mentioned above she's situational so you don't really pick her if you see hard cc heroes. that's why I'm really disappointed they removed that extra dash in or out from Odette's Ult so we can still have purify for those who try to cancel out Odette's Ult.

One thing I've been testing a certain thing that I havent seen anyone abuse on burst mages which is their capibility of being a "first wave ganker" which is basically being able to get a successful kill in a gank on gold lane with only Level 2 and on first wave in gold lane. One mage I've been doing this a lot on is Eudora on gold lane and it works really well if either both mm are equal in trading damage or enemy mm is aggressive first wave. This is especially effective against those greedy mm who uses inspire over escape spells because they are confident in winning first trade.

I had a higher wr with odette dash (80% in 40 matches, in soloq ofc) more than cc immunity. The dash is more versatile since you can dodge ccs and chase enemies. And if you position yourself good enough and aware of enemies' skills, they would have a hard time going after you in the first place. I used to get the mvp with odette now I only got silver lol. First they ruin my kagura then my recent fav odette, i hope they don't ruin novaria too :(
An Odette player here. Odette can actually be one of those "high risk, high reward" type of hero. Especially in a scenario when you ult + flicker in the middle of 4-5 enemies. I know it sounds hard, but it is possible, especially in late game, her damage hurts a lot. And I have a tip if you want to play Odette with that kind of scenario. Just build spell vamp items, be it concentrated energy, or even queen's wings. I have tried both, and I think overall I prefer concentrated energy over queen's wings. But I won't hesitate to sell my concentrated to buy queen's wings when the situation is dire, for example when I'm the only player alive and have to defend my base against the enemies. Queen's wings' spell vamp is so good, I turned the table many times in 1vs many enemies. Thus saving my base. Try it, odette spell vamp, I think you won't regret it.
Odette will be getting her dash back she's gonna be strong with purify+partial cc immunity+mini dash. Who wants to use flicker which has a high cd when you have a free dash every 30 sec. It's like shes going to be immune from all cc skills except suppression. She's gonna make more outplays!! Can't wait.🎉🎉🎉
A similar scenario happened to me. Just as I casted my ult during lord fight, the animation for the lord's knock up shows up but luckily I have flicker so I dodged it but the enemies didn't. What's even crazier is there's 4 enemies there and one of them is sun.i could've gotten a maniac there if only our fanny didn't last hit the enemy mm but still all good cos I think that's probably gonna be one of my unforgettable experience playing Odette
it will make her too op if they return the dash... right now you have to trade flicker for the fact that your ult is not getting interrupted as easily (e.g. from their draft, Bele's taint is now unable to stop your ult, neither could Melissa's ult) so you have less counters... Instead, it makes her ult more depending on your team's CC so strategy.
If u stack ur passives before a fight which you can do from level one with her first skill cus the passive is built to support this, you can burst down squishy heroes. Sometimes I will play her like an assassin if their mm is particularly annoying.

Hey guys, if you look at this Lolita you can see that she is very good at decision making and also she have that needed map awareness. If some tanks main looks at her, you will see that she did everything correct as a tank roamer.
It's like she doesn't received any revamp at all now that they remove her dash on its ult, maybe to make it call a revamp maybe they need to make her second skill a lock targeting skill and it can cc at least three enemies and it can give Odette movement speed base on the cc-ed enemies

1 thing i wanna see betosky do very badly is a johnson match. I'm a johnson main so i would like to see his play style since i normally go for a full damage ouput mage build.
She's definitely just an underrated hero but her passive and combo with johnson is the best things, she's also op in early game. When i chose her in a classic game she was decent but if you use her correctly you'll be unstoppable.

As an odette main, i genuinely got upset when they removed her dash. Like why? What if u miscalculated and ult at the wrong time? Then what? Just stand there and look like free dinner? Yes, before the patch it was very annoying when enemies can easily interrupt ur ult, but i would very much prefer that to whatever abomination this is. And i missed the feeling of satisfaction whenever i get a triple kill using my ult. Now it's rare to even get a single kill using it.

Let me help you with that. Cecilion is the late game mage, and if you can keep stacking his passive (just by hitting enemies and minions) since from the early game, you can easily one tap squishy enemies who didn't build Athena Shield. While using his skill 1, use it twice in early game since 3rd and 4th uses of skill 1 will cause you to lose alot of mana, unless you build enchanted talisman. Your damage will start hurting alot as you got more passive stacks and if you can maintain good positioning, you can even carry the team till late game as he's one of the fastest at clearing lanes in late game.
Is the Dash back? If it is then I'm back to maining Odette, I've actually given up on using her after they removed her Dash making her super vulnerable lol
Any way you heard the red buff badang bug, where badang gets a red buff and when he uses 2nd skill and ult without attacking or hitting anybody , and he deals damage overtime

One time when I didn't realize odette got rework again. I choosed Flameshot as the spell againts lancelot and benedetta. I pressed my ult and was hoping to use the dash to suprise them, but little did I know the Cow sucker Game Creators revert odette's ultimate back to what it used to be 🙂. Propably the momment where I feel moontoon is just a bunch of dumb cows without actually paying attention to the player's feedback and puts all their efforts into marketing instead of just genuinely fixing their Thrashy A** game. I wished this wasn't as popular as it it, but sadly it is and I play it cause it's propably the only MOBA right now that is competitive in my country.
The fact that she just got her dash again in the recent buff will surely change the gameplay style

I think the reason why Odette isn't in meta is the lack of range. Not like Yve, Change', Pharsa, or Kagura

i do genius wand and glowing wand, maintain 3 stacks of passive before casting to an enemy= deadly
TIP: when you spawn make sure you use your first skill and stack up your passive this way its way easier to clear the wave and you can rotate faster

Using oddete in brawl is another satisfaction, especially with using the barrel we jump inside the core and then ultimate!

One time when I didn't realize odette got rework again. I choosed Flameshot as the spell againts lancelot and benedetta.
I pressed my ult and was hoping to use the dash to suprise them, but little did I know the Cow sucker Game Creators revert odette's ultimate back to what it used to be 🙂.
Propably the momment where I feel moontoon is just a bunch of dumb cows without actually paying attention to the player's feedback and puts all their efforts into marketing instead of just genuinely fixing their Thrashy A** game.
