I am curious. Why do you use that type of block to build and not a regular cinder block to build? I had an in ground pond that was fine for 13 years and my two dogs decided to go fishing after frogs and literally destroyed it. They even got down to underlayment. And my pond was full of huge rocks, no liner was visible. But they managed to tear it up. So now I am deciding to build it again but this time raise it about knee high and see if these T-Rex that I have for dogs don't tear it up. But I was thinking of using regular cinder blocks.
It's a personal choice, really. Given the height of my walls it would have been a lot of rebar and concrete pouring to fill the blocks. So I just used soldif blocks. Best of luck with the new build 💪🏻
