iPhone 13 pro max. iOS 15.1.1. The issue still here. It seems to get better when I increase the brightness but at the low light the grey color is literally green. Of course all this bs with true tone and night shift doesn’t help at all (actually keeping these options on makes it even a little better :)). Looks like apple should start preparing my replacement.
i fixed my 11promax by turning on night shift to very warm, then i used it for 4-6hrs, then tuned it off, after using it again for about 2hrs or less, the colors came back to normal. it has green tint and green line, looks like a dead pixle line. almost paid $200/9-10kphp for lcd replacement! this video saved my money! thanks for that!
Mine is a little green towards the bottom half of the display. Seems more noticeable with True Tone on and brightness turned down to around 20%. Sometimes it doesn’t look visible, especially when I use the phone for a while.
I had this green tint and didn’t know it was a big till now… I went to Apple a month ago and they changed my screen free of charge and now there’s no more green tint… so for me it was really a display issue and not software. Ps my phone is in perfect shape I never dropped it. So it was a manufacturing defect
Was it covered under warranty ? I also have similar issue but they told me since mine was out of warranty , I will have to pay the full price for the repair. If mine was in warranty , screen repair would have been free. Now I am stuck.
@motoBrando I too had the screen of my iphone 12 replaced a month ago, but the green tint (especially on the side and near the notch) is back. Is your new screen still perfect?
I’m using a refurbed iPhone X and I’m getting this issue. I’m guessing I just got a shitty replacement display because the tint isn’t on the entire phone, just on the left side. There’s also glitchy green lines up at the top left where the time is. I appreciate your video because now I know for certain it’s a hardware thing and not a software thing. Even though it’s not solved and I’ll probably have to pay $100 bucks or so, I’m thankful for the video regardless.
@@emilymary2677 it had something to do with the seal I think. I ended up cleaning it off by pouring rubbing alcohol on the screen and the phone went black. Then, about an hour or two later it turned back on and I’ve never had. The issue again.
@@loganeasley4343 thanks, my iphone x has recently started having the green screen issue but its only at the left side and theres a green glitch like thing above where the time should be and its only began doing it since updating my phone to ios 14.7

clickbait at its best, the majority of people who notice this issue are the ones who have done extensive research already. And you are telling them to “fix” the problem by turning off true tone and night shift? Stop wasting other’s time just for views.
I have this issue and it's definitely a software issue. Also, it's very easily resolved. I only see the green tint at night when my phone is in dark mode and brightness is very low (I tend to keep it very low at night). Just turning up the brightness a smidge makes the green coloring go away. Definitely doesn't seem to be a hardware issue in my case.
Just bought my iPhone and I have this green problem but only in 3 corners. One corner of the display works totally fine and the rest has this greenish tint. It actually gets worse the brighter the screen is, if its on max the green almost gets like a poison green not just some gray green tint. Its now months for the software problem to be solved so no at least in my case this is definitely no software problem.
I am facing this issue right now for 13 pro max at night time my screen is blurry and there are green tints on black photos and sometimes screen is flickering too …..😑 any suggestions wt may b the issue or how to fix it ???
when i put my iphone x to 0-20% is whiter nor dark screen...and i don t have any zoom, white point or anythinv on, why ?? and if is 20%-100% is normal ...
Sometimes it sucks when I delete some photos and it also delete the random one and then I don’t know which one has been deleted . I know that can be found in deleted photos but sometimes I have so many deleted photos.
My iPhone 12 is still doing this I’ve had my screen replaced by apple I got a new iPhone from apple still not fixed has to be something with my back up they gave me a free pair of air pods pro but it’s getting worse every week flickering green when my screens black on a video it sucks this shouldn’t be happening for 1000$
No it doesn't have anything to do with your backup. I went to an Apple Premium Reseller and all employees had the same issue in their iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 12. It's Apple fault or display provider fault. I just sent mine to repair and if they don't completely fix it I'll definitely start a class action lawsuit. I suggest you to do the same.
I am experiencing this in my new iPad Air 4 and if I switched to True Tone or night shift the problem is solved. But in normal tone while scrolling or zooming in & out there is a green tint. Should I replace it?
I just got my iPhone 12 pro max a while ago (I'll say a week and a half) ever since I updated it to iOS 16.4.1 (a) my phone has a green tint with dark mode enabled and dark mode apps, I don't know what to, i changed brightness and display settings and still nothing, contacted apple but they want me to pay for something that's wrong in their system, never dropped the phone and is in great condition, can someone help? it's not too visible but when the screen is dark, even shutting down my phone it still is visible and I've rested and factory reset it multiple times.
I have the exact same thing as you have on my 13 pro max. All grey colors, where you can see it best, are more greenish than actual grey. I contacted Apple and if you contact Apple middle east they most likely will give you instructions how to fix the problem yourself since there are very very less Apple Stores in the middle east. They told me that it may be a display hardware issue which somehow gets patched with future software update. Then they told me that i should do a backup and factory reset my phone. But when it turns back on i should not get the backup because they told me that a backup can carry software bugs with it. I should first check if the green tint is still there. If it is I should bring it to apple. If there isn‘t I should factory reset it again but this time with the backup. And after that if it still appears i should bring it to apple too. So at the end of the day its unfixable.
And the way there were able of noticing the problem was thru the color filter on settings if you look at the pencils the green and yellow look totally different from the actual colors they compare it to another 12 pro max and on the same setting if you swipe to the left there is a square color pallet the greens and yellows were also different from the iPhone they compare it too
