You know I work lots with chords, so almost any sawtooth wave or whatever works great for what i do! It's the sequencer that is CRAP on this thing haha
Dude.. Please tell me its the blue midi cable.. Please 🤣🤣🤣I bought the S-1 a few days ago and i am trying to connect it to my midi controller and no luck so far, i bought 2 cables, a black and a red cable none of them worked.. geuss what ?!?! it might be the blue cable 🤣🤣🤣Keep jaming 👍👍👍
Hate to break it to you but (with the exception of a couple of use cases) the NuX pedal you’ve got there is as good or better than its Boss/Roland counterparts. Do some A-B tests or consult a couple of videos which have compared side by side, and you’ll likely see for yourself. If the one you have isn’t working well for you, which I’m not invalidating, then perhaps you might consider another delay type instead of a Space Echo clone. (oh and IIRC, NuX are based out of Taiwan, not China. So it’s actually a cheap Taiwanese delay. 😉)
@@dustbunnies3090 This is super interesting. Also thanks for the correction on the unit being manufactured in Taiwan! I personally cannot recommend this model because of how the reverb "amount" works. Instead of controls for how wet and dry, and how shallow and deep the reverb are, these are combined to one knob, which, while it can have some interesting effects, is not subtle at all and cuts from zero reverb to like 60% wet spring reverb at the bottom of the knob. There is no in between. It's great for delay washes though and I have been told that it is, indeed, better for delay washes than the roland/boss ones.
@gunjackofficial That’s a fair ding! I don’t really use full feedback washouts, so I’ve not experienced that personally yet (I’ll definitely check the next time I drag mine out, though). One of the things the NuX has as an improvement is the fact that the reverb is based on something similar to a hall setting and is much smoother/more useable, IMNSHO. The Boss units are still trying to emulate some janky spring reverb, and it is really just atrocious IMNSHO. So I can see why the NDD isn’t working for you. But rather than falling back to the Rolands, perhaps take a look at the Strymon El Cap, which does cost a lot more but is obviously a big step up. Or (as mentioned above) maybe check out some other delay types entirely. 😊
@@dustbunnies3090 ahhhhh you must mean the smaller nu.x tape echo pedal, the bigger one in the video, again as I mentioned above is more like a spring reverb at low dry/wet sounds and more like a hall reverb at 100% there is no way to control how “wet” it actually is because it just cuts off. I will check the strymon yea…. Cheers
Sounded so good
Hell ya bro. It’s got that dirty sound.
Thanks for checking it out!!!
Love this… so great seeing a legend showing us how it’s down. I played some of your older tracks out the other day!

Nice one!! Work it 🔥
Hi, can you tell where you got the J6 knob caps from? I’m hurting my fingers on the tiny originals 😢. Yours look far more comfortable 😊
Etsy! They are Volca knobs 3d printed by a seller there😀

Chinese knock offs are the best gear for extra character and personality!!
I cannot recommend this one unfortunately. Worth it to spend the extra and get the Roland/Boss...
