Totally disagree. If ur speaking about city wise and buildings I guess but that gets boring if ur job and apartment isn’t in the city . When u live here for a long time and start to travel see other cities Atlanta is crap

Live on the southside in the ATL suburbs + I absolutely love it … I’m a family man now … 30 miles from downtown … black middle class all around me … a lot of options whether you’re single or w/ a family … 6 hour drive to Orlando (Disney) and Tampa - great for my kids … 2 hour flight to get back home to NJ … I’m East Coast bias so the A is perfect for me … but great videos tho !!!

12:32 I live in Atlanta for over 6 years. The men are like men anywhere. Just like the women. This is a black city for entrepreneurs, business owners and hustlers. That’s why it’s not great for dating. The mentality here is just that. If you’re a hustler or like to network. You will be fine. Or move on the outskirts depending on what you’re looking for.

Providing more insight(living in atl): No one goes to Lenox Mall that I know of. Perimeter mall in Dunwoody is the mall to go to. You should asked a local. 😉 & Yes, Atlanta is pretty segregated.

First of all, I support your channel so take what I’m about to say as constructive criticism.
I think y’all’s takes on both Atlanta and Houston are limited because you’re speaking mostly from a single Black Millennial perspective.
I say that because y’all speak a lot about brunch culture, dating and the Galleria and Lennox Mall. It’s so much more to both metros than those things but I understand when you’re younger and have no children.
I lived in both metros ( Atl 2015-2017/ Houston 2009-2015 and moved backed from Atlanta in 2017 and still here in 2024).
Now speaking from a married Black man in his late 30s I prefer Atlanta over Houston. Why?
Atlanta actually has a nicer selection of suburbs with some actual character and access to good schools and no shortage of middle class Black families.
Houston on the other hand suburbs imo are seriously lacking in comparison. Yes there are good schools and black middle class families but these burbs lack character. And they tend to be more chaotic when it comes to traffic and infrastructure due to unincorporated areas. Also with the exception of The Woodlands( very White) and Sugar Land( very Asian) Houston burbs tend to be more randomly violent than Atlanta’s nicer burbs.
In my opinion, Houston would be the better city to visit and not live. Houston is just endless concrete sprawl with wide commercial corridors (much more than Atlanta) so getting around Houston imo is more exhausting. Plus outside of 610, Houston gets real ugly, bland and chaotic. Pockets of decent areas. Suburbs are just islands of master planned communities, newer apartments and strip malls.
At least in Atlanta there’s a break between the perimeter and it’s suburbs due to the topography.
Also I’d take Hartsfield over Bush any day of the week due to one reason. I can take the Marta train to the airport. In Houston you’ll have to drive or take a Uber to the airport and that’s stressful especially live you somewhere like in West Houston and beyond.

Love this! I (Nnena) agree! I would choose ATL as well. I just was speaking with someone about the suburbs. Atlanta seems to be more affordable to buy as well. Thanks for this comment!

Srry but Atlanta is not prettier so not sure where you got tht from I live in Houston and have been to Atlanta to visit friends and family plenty of times and though Houston has some rough areas i could say the same abt Atlanta but overall htown is much more aesthetically appealing than Atlanta And especially our downtown cuz while ATL only shines at night when its skyline is lit up Htown natural beauty comes alive during the day w/ all the lush greenery/vegetation && palms 🌴 within the city And dnt even get me started on our skyline And especially from the skylawn at the post standpoint And while the ⛅️ is setting looks like something straight out a movie futuristic But can atl say the same hell Atlanta doesn’t even compare to Dallas or Austin skylines so you know its not competing w/ the largest &&most populous city in Texas Srry but Houston is a world class city And Atlanta isn’t and never will be so we shouldn’t even be compared much less mention in the same sentence two different leagues Houston is up there w/ Nyc L.A. Chicago && Philly the top 5 And Atlanta not even on tht list at all Oh wait yes it is It almost made the top 40 coming in at #37 wht a joke😎🤷🏻💯
