Testament - Low; bass cover

In my quest to explore more thrash metal I had to take a swing by Testament's catalogue. The main riff in this one is so catchy! I love the start/stop nature to it.
I'm pretty happy with the tone on this one too - especially as it was just my pedal board and nothing in cubase (other than a gate).
I tuned to drop C# (drop D plus half a step down) for this. I would have gone to C# standard but with 45-105 gauge strings it was getting too floppy! This is also why I decided to play the intro/outro on the A & D strings with an octave pedal on - I was struggling to play fast bursts on my floppy bottom string.
