Only way to learn and you will pick up tricks as you go build another one when your board it might come out better now you know what you want and have your design welding aluminum is not a easy task but hey that’s true hot rodding right there love the vids man 🤙
Green tungsten will ball the end when welding aluminum. I use the 1/8" diameter, and even controlling the amps will ball a little. I also use either UHP argon or Helium/argon mix. Your doing great. Keep up the awesome work!
@@snedenwerks no way, thank you - for posting your build, through trials and tribulations - to inspire us that used to do this daily to get back into it. Wish you were closer. I have RT66 running through this state. A car like yours would be a sweet addition to up coming events.
It gets better with every video. My Dad was a welder, he hated aluminum!

I grind my welds to hide the evidence. The tank looks great!
