    The Trails is one I go to when im alone and need to ease my nerves it always works. Sometimes it evokes tears when you feel the weight of your life and memories collide with the opening guitar.
    Its a lot to take in sometimes, memories of pain, love and loss. Gojira understands this.

    It's definitely not my favourite, but it's also far from my most disliked lol. A lot of people had issues with the mixing of the album which was different from usual and the vocals sounding a bit more muffled than usual.
    But I've loved every albums since From Mars to Sirius, it took me a while for the vocals to grow on me but it was "L'enfant sauvage" that unlocked it for me lol (the track).
    I think the actual singing voice of the lead is getting better and better and opens interesting new possibilities for the band with songs like The trails (or some from their Magma album like Low lands)
