Ever since hearing Porter Robinson in 7th grade I still find myself coming to his music for all different reasons. More so than any other artist. I’m going to be a senior in HS next year. I hope I will still keep coming back to his music for a very long time.
I had the strangest moment of deja vu or nostalgia for a memory I've never had while listening to this. I don't really know how to explain it... the feeling in this song is just beyond words.
This song really hits different and is still my #1 most influential and most inspirational songs I've listened to since 2016. Since I discovered it I've fell in love with the beauty of the music, the love of this, the storytelling. It feels like a story is being told through this song. The reason why is because it carried me through and I still tell myself even without the song. "We will wait for this." is sooo abstract to me in my opinion.
