Having just received ours and just finished installing it I just wanted to point out that I noticed in your video you put your shelves upside down, the medal cages go up and hold the shampoo bottles in place on the glass shelf, the glass shelf is at the bottom when installed,not the top !

This might be a silly question but you kept mentioning “hot tub”. My question is… is it really a hot tub? Meaning can you set the water temperature and it stays on that temperature (like an outdoor jacuzzi would) or is it a jetted tub? Meaning, there are jets but the water temperature cannot be controlled other than the temperature of the water when you fill up the tub?

I'm 6'3", I'd be afraid that the tub isn't deep enough or long enough to sit in comfortably. 23" water depth doesn't sound too great.

I’ve always loved luxury showers but this one takes the cake. I do worry about my water bill raising with this shower haha. But on a serious note, how big should the room be for this shower and how difficult is installation? Also does it come in other colors besides gray/black?
This is a corner model and each wall in the corner should be 64" or longer. The Superior steam shower is made for easy installation and comes with step by step installation video as well. I want it but... I'm terrified to know how much this would reflect on my Water Bill.
I'm considering purchasing one of these steam showers, but I was wondering if:
01) the extractor fans had to be on & running 24/7 while the unit's being used?
02) Do the handset shower heads have to be connected, or can you leave them out during the installation?
03) Can the shower overhead & the shower jets work simultaneously with the massage jets?
I ask as generally I hate extractor fans, I turn them off whenever I can, an never use them.
I hate handset shower heads, for me they're totally pointless.
I'd only use the massage jets while having a bath and the overhead shower & shower jets while having a shower.
Any insight would be appreciated.

I'll definitely be purchasing a steam shower/bath in the near future, as soon as I know how much space I've got for it, if I cannae get this one, I'll be gettin' an identical one that's a bit smaller in dimentions.
I can definitely provide a verbal review, with a brief vid possibly, of it, but if you view one of the videos of the machine, that my username stems, I use a handheld mobile for my filming, so movement/actions would be a case of pause the vid, do the action, then unpause the vid.

Air jets or hydro, water, jets? Looking for air jets ONLY. Water jets get gross from body dirt.

Not all the ceiling devices are speakers, the one on the right has what looks like a light bulb in it. Mine continues to arc like it's a bad connection. Any idea what that thing is?
That is correct. The sparkling sound that you see coming from one of the ceiling assemblies is your ozone sterilization system that comes on automatically every time you turn the unit off and it kills the bacteria inside the unit after each use. Please let us know if you have any questions.

What is the view of the TV while seated? Can you see it easily while sitting in the tub part? It looks rather high up for shower/standing viewing.
The Smart TV is installed on the middle wall and you will have a good view of it while laying inside the tub.
Can that smart tv work with a waterproof mouse and keyboard ?

I didnt see any handles inside this unit. It would make for a nice shower / jaquzi therapy for my wife who has terrible Arthritis but without handles I dont think she will be able to get back up. 😆

After 3 years, are you still satisfied? Also, I live in an area with very hard water, does the steam shower clog up?
We have had our steam shower a little over 4 years now and we are happy with it so far with no major issue. We do also have hard water in our area but haven't noticed any clogging yet.

Does the shower use a built in heat pump? Or do you need to provide hot water with your homes existing hot water heater?

There is a waterfall inlet which creates a water fall sound when turned on inside the tub.
What power sauce is needed
The Superior Steam Shower requires two dedicated 220V lines.
I love long showers (more than baths), but it runs up my water bill. So, two questions:
1) Can the handsets / shower be connected to recycle from the water in the tub (working like the jets do)?
2) Is the water in the tub heated to maintain a given constant temperature?

The drain can easily be cleaned and is also removable.
Is the bath Big enough for 2 people?

So... how much has your water bill went up? How do you prevent mold? How do you clean it? Cleaning video? Maintenance cost per year?

What would be the average installation cost in Ohio? I have an outdated corner jacuzzi now that I would replace.
I don't know in your area but when figuring the cost of a plumber, a tile layer and an installation of glass doors for a regular bath/shower refit, This unit comes in pretty cheap.
With regard to the extractor fan...does it vent to the inside of the bathroom or can it be vented to the outside?
It fans vent to the inside of the bathroom but you are able to make way to make it vent directly to the outside if needed.

Anyone ever install this in the country on a private well? How does it fair out with limited water pressure ?
We have this unit installed on a private well with a good water pressure.
Well pumps that feed into a pressure tank usually have an adjustable pressure switch. If pressure is set proper but drops too much as it is being used, then you can have another issue. Like the pressure tank does not have a proper air charge, or is too small for your usage and wells output. Some well systems are different and do not have a pressure tank. They might have just a storage tank with an on demand booster pump. That pump sometimes is not adjustable for pressure, some are though.

Have you had any problems with it?It seems like so many moving parts, does it come with a warranty? What happens if the screen goes after a few years? Do they sale parts?
We have had our unit a little over 2 years now and I can say we are very happy with it so far. We did need a shower head replacement which they required us to send a picture then a replacement part was sent out within 2 to 3 days.

Not sure how long these units have been around but most plumbers have little or NO experience installing them. My husband has been a master plumber(highest level possible) & he is trying to repair original plumber’s install. Seals were improperly installed, flooding floor, fittings installed backwards, many issues. He finally ordered a seal kit to redo the entire unit; basically disassemble it. (Take doors and glass off and reinstall structure) Owners have had it 2 years &’he isn’t the first to try & repair. If you are going to put that kind of investment in your bathroom make sure a reputable company installs it. ( found this clip looking for a PDF of unit)
