I am a self taught mechanic of over 30 years in the field. Helping people save money and stay safe on the road is what I am here for. If I can pass that along in my videos, that would make me feel even more accomplished. I am rather old school and do not really do things by the book, for this reason, I do not claim to make "Instructional" videos. My videos are for entertainment purposes only. Please use safety and knowledge when doing your own repairs. ~ Ben - MegaMiles

What is the part called that is connected to the trail arm?
Great video btw!
The spindle (knuckle)?
2 questions: are you replacing the link because of the bushings? Or is it bent?
Are the front and rear mounting bolts at the frame the same?
Bad bushings. Theres one bolt on each end of each arm.
At 4:55 your car gets revenge on you for forgetting about it's Birthday. You celebrate that every year, right? Or it may have been too many miles since an oil change, huh? Edit: I jacked my car (2004 Grand Am) up wrong the other day, on the rusty rear control arm and bent it. I almost saw that coming. Thought about it briefly, but dismissed the likelihood of it happening, until it happened that is. Now I have to replace all the control arms for the first time in my life. Until then, my car sits, because the rear wheel is noticeably turning left!
Lmao! Thats funny!!
Its actually a clients car. Not really sure what made me think itd stay up 🤣
About your edit:
That sucks to hear. Hopefully this will help you get it back on the road!
