Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, crafted by Dr. Ken J. Burge Sr, invites you on a transformative journey through the Old and New Testament, guiding you to explore the sacred texts daily and complete the entire Bible in just one year. Immerse yourself in the wisdom within each appointed portion, and accompany your readings with the devotionals, meticulously curated using the F.I.R.E. method of Bible study.
F.I.R.E., an acronym central to our study, serves as a guiding light, representing four essential pillars: familiarity (with the text), interpretation (of the text), relationship (with multiple texts), and employment (of the text). This mnemonic, akin to a memory enhancer, not only simplifies the study process but also ensures a deeper, more meaningful engagement with the scriptures.

I love Acts 15:11 which says, “On the contrary, we believe we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus in the same way they are.”
Thankful that salvation is truly that simple: “We believe we are saved”. And also “in the same way they are.” referring to the gentiles… I’m thankful that Christ offered salvation to all men even the Gentiles.

Amen! That is one great verse. Thanks for staying with us each day. John writes, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."
