hell nice work , I got a 3.2 shortie . it may get some of these goodies
Cheers matey they are great 💯🙌🏼
These things come standard on the Pajero Sport and whilst they are a cool thing in terms of what they are I find them to be pretty average in terms of what they offer practically, especially off road.
They don't rotate with the wheel, well mine don't, so if you're chucking the wheel around and need to change gears you're hunting for the lever you want whereas the shifter will be where it always is in the console.
I found with mine that using the relevant terrain mode the vehicle just did a better job than I was doing anyway.
Maybe on road or towing where you want to hold gears or whatever they would be more useful.
I'm not against them in any way but I found that I looked at them when I bought the vehicle and thought they would be very cool but I never use them.
Maybe others will or I'm just getting old.
Thanks for the video.
Cheers mate. I personally wouldn't like it being on the steering wheel. When you're offroad and turn your wheel you will get lost with which way is now up or down haha. My dad has it in his Pajero and use it all the time so I guess everyone has different needs for it. Personally I would use it on the beach or offroading and when towing 😃💯
@@budget4x4life Not sure how the paddles will affect knowing where the wheel is tbh but anyway.
If people like them then they're a good thing but I just never use mine.
The Sport is an 8 speed so you can spend plenty of time staying in the "right" gear though so I just let it do it's thing.
The manumatic they SHOULD have had OE. To be fair, at the time, the INVECS transmission was a signficant improvement to automatic transmission technology. Mitsubishi obviously learned their lesson and gave the Pajero Sport paddle shifters. End of the da, a HUGE ergonomic upgrade. 😎👍
Agreed😄💯🔥
cool video, dude.
but that thing with moving shaft to manual mode is a joy killer. planning to automate this job with smthn like arduino some day.
Cheers mate 💯🔥
This is brilliant.
I saw on the Aussie Paj forums somewhere that someone had a module that makes the shifters work in Drive. Is there any chance you might be able to source that?
Yeah I saw it but heaps of work for something that's not really that big of a deal. Just flick it in manual mode and off you go 😃💯
@@budget4x4life True. It's not worth it for the majority but that extra convenience matters to me because of an injury. Might you be able to point me in the right direction of where to get it after I pick up the paddles from you.
I bought the windscreen wiper jets from your site and I can't wait for them to get to me here in Kenya sometime next week. (I have to use a forwarding service to keep the shipping manageable so it takes a bit longer)
@WangilaRasto-gf7fc awesome mate! Here's the link to the paddle page: www.pajeroforum.com.au/forum/commercial-advertisers/commercial-advertisers-aa/scorpro/1109414-gen-4-paddle-shift-wiring-harnesses?fbclid=IwAR33CHMyTbE_XeDbyN0F4F5cSFMC-j4YlFEwskTraQdGhy4SwwHoQKlWNZI
