@M Muss Everyone does everything to an extent. But you will ultimately do one more than the other. Your best way to figure out which one you do more is to: 1) track how much time you spend doing what 2) tri-angulate and ask as many people who really know you as you can find: What is it that you do an auto-pilot, all day, without even realising it?

As blast last I seem to fake my blast a lot by doing a sleep process first, and then repeat what I just sleep processed. It is pretty exhausting, because I try to emulate what a blaster does naturally.
As an INTJ with Blast first, I re-read every text and You Tube comment at least 5 times before sending it or uploading it. Am I crazy? PS: This comment was read 6 times and edited/corrected 2 times. Yes I am crazy.

This is a really good video on Blast! Dave and Shannon's videos on the "Animals" are fine and all, but... half the time... frankly, they seem to contradict themselves: is Sleep sleepy, or is it not? Introverted or not? Consume wants to watch tons of videos and read tons of books... but it doesn't... Etc. They don't contradict themselves, ultimately, but it's hard too... discern what they're actually saying in the midst of all the qualifications, etc. This one is clear enough! Blast means saying things clearly for the Tribe, full stop. Shows me that I likely DO have Blast as a Demon, as I suspected...which is... interesting... 🙄🤔

Me too! I was getting it confused with blast. My brain dump clumps are organized but they’re not in the correct order about the same subject. Now I know why the other person can only take so much of it.
I understand better now. I didn't know what "blast" was (I am french), and didn't know Ni and Si were : organize informations. It make sense now. I knew (by Frank James video sources) J_organized and planned ahead & P_disorganized and spontaneous in general. But I didn't know it was also related to information before speaking. _ J are more organized in general and with information. Ni or Si on function 1 or 2. _ P more spontaneous, less organized. Ni or Si on function 3 or 4. Simple, fast, effective, thank you for sharing knowledge.

Blast is not inherently those things, but it can be. Depends on the health of the blaster. My infj father brain dumps FOR SURE, but that’s because he’s lonely and needs someone to talk to- and blast is his style (he was a teacher, so even more so). What you say about blast being organized is absolutely the case. Great video! I’m blast last, and believe me, I wish it wasn’t.
nice video. I find the OP names for the animals are confusing (that's infj polite speak for 'inaccurate'). I prefer to think of them in terms of Teach vs Learn for blast/consume, and in the moment Responsiveness vs out of the moment Contemplation for sleep/play. (possibly introverts especially, but anyone stuck in isolation or living alone is gonna get to a point where they finally get to talk to a human and all that comes out is a 'brain dump' in the moment cos they got out of the habit of filtering ideas before speaking - it takes a while to unravel the urge to express anything at all while you can and reorient towards what others might actually want to hear!)

I so agree. To add to this, I would say it could be a good idea (well, it's *an* idea anyway) to have sort of baby names for each of the Animals for each quadra. I know Shave won't do that because they won't expand in this Ne-Si (?) direction and that's fine, but it does seem that for different quadras, the archetype of each Animal presents itself differently. Like, for Alpha quadra Blast and Consume seem to be more along the lines of Practice (Si/Fe) and Theory (Ne/Ti), for Betas maybe Knowledge (Ni/Fe) and Experience (Se/Ti). Sort of focusing on where the hands-on approach lies (with Se or Si) and where a more abstract approach is (Ne or Ni). Just throwing these names without much thought, it obviously could use some work. The point is, they still are a binary coin, it's just more personal to the individual quadra perspective.
I definitely wouldn't say teach vs. learn; EPs and IPs often feel like they're teaching when they're actually just looking for, as LiJo said, others to get excited about the information.
This vocabulary is new to me, but I understand blast to mean communicating an organized analysis of a structure or situation so that others can approach it intelligently and skillfully. Bonus if those others are on your guild/team/passion group. This contrasts mightily with the brain dump that I might call a sounding-board experience, where some people need another person to hear their processed thinking before they can understand it themselves. I can understand the sounding board experience because I often need to see a written expression of what I am thinking about in order to continue thinking coherently about my own thoughts (hence this comment). Is this comment helpful to others? Maybe, maybe not. I personally cannot stand being the recipient of sounding board activity when it is dumped on me, I.e., nobody asked me if I have time to listen. With a written comment, people can choose what they have time for.

Hey Lindsey, how do you think Ne blast differs from Ni blast? For instance, I'm an Ne/Fe play first with double activated blast and I talk every side of a particular concept as opposed to in an organized Ni manner; I may jump from A to F but I also still cover B, C, D & E ; It's just not necessarily in a respective order. Still blast? If so, what do you think of these different methods of blast in comparison?! 🤔 (it can be a good topic for a video now that I think of it!)
Well if both of your blast functions were activated twice that menas your demon Si has two activations and your Fe. So you must be PBSC? In which case I would look at your Si not Ne since Ne isn’t a part of blast. It means you would still do the play thing as a default with Ne but you would follow up with Si details for the tribe so they could stay on board most likely.

Question: Does thinking about saying something or saying something inside your mind with a specific person or group of people in mind count as Blast ? Because technically when I do that, I organize information with tribe in mind (as I speak this in my head to try to write and convey it to the reader), but generally I wouldn't actually say it to them.
Who doesn't want to be blasted? Even after margination on info, it still feels like a brain dump when talking with others cause of how tangential my thoughts wonder
Blast is actually I have learned the experience from introversion and will teach you how you can also understand the same experience. It's a subjective experience and urgency to teach or tell someone :)

This is really good. Give us that sweet sweet accuracy check. I think I'm blast last and the brain dump phenomenon is too real. One arena where I do see some blast in myself is at work, where I'm relatively better experienced in the decisions that need to be made day to day than others are, so I'll sometimes give direction, solicited or not, based on what accomplishes the clear Te goals of the shop, from out of my Si catalogue of what's happened in the past that was similar. Blast is simplified - even if it's phrased on the spot, it does not involve on-the-spot disclaimers and qualifiers and considerations of what else is possible. It's not exploratory. Blast is from inside outward - I relate to enneagram 9 which seems to be correlated to F-De plus blast last, and in that vein blast is difficult because I'm constantly trying to simulate and anticipate others reactions. My information is constantly being sourced from my imagination of my immediate surroundings and the tribe, so my distilled information gets muddled. I feel obligated to the play and the consume, all the Ne possibilities of how things could be totally different. Lol. If you make more videos about blast, I'd love it if you touched on the 4 kinds, especially since this video felt very Te tinged. Fe blast feels pretty different from Te blast ime.
Even Blast Last people can Blast. But sometimes their talking IS brain-dumping and sometimes their attempts at Blast can sound like brain-dumping. I’ve got a friend who is Blast third and spent years in ToastMasters to learn, essentially to communicate, including Blasting, coherently. My daughter is Blast last. Sometimes she will “info vomit” in a way that no one can grasp. She knows what she wants to say and it’s just not coming out. Same daughter wins speech contests, routinely. When she’s organized and rehearsed, she’s highly effective at Blast.
So, in other words, blast is virtually identical to braindumping and you would never be able to tell them apart except for your subjective experience of them.
Is it being able to read a room and communicate with different personalitie tyoes comprehensible on thier level? My biggest asset is to observe a room, feel what they feel, know what they are thinking, and see what their underlying motives for the behavior. I guess I'll do my reach on the objective blast. Hey, Lindsey. I am an "INTiJ" (Ni Ti Fe Se) and I can prove. Are you interested in interviewing me in the future? extending it a bit: I figured out MBTI and was right away typed as INFJ. Read about it and it did make sense. However, when I read about INTJ I also identified as much as I identified with INFJ. So I took a lot of tests again. Got 2x ENTJ, 2x ISTJ, 3x INTJ, 5x INFJ. At school I was always said to be the "solitary wolf", ultra rational and cold guy - who doesn't like to hang out, hate small talk, most of the times dislike even to talk. I thought nearly everybody was stupid and useless, a waste of time. Very concerned with my future and my own business. About feelings... honestly I didn't like that people used to say I was cold, I knew I was very empath deep down my heart, always eager to help who I cared about - and it didn't take a lot for me to care, maybe... "half" a lot (hahaha). Beyond that, I was/am very idealistic, have ambitious goals for love, a relationships and family - which matches with Ni+Fe usage. Everyone online always think I am INTJ due to my "Thinking approach" and "technical" way of expressing myself and using words. Overtime, I had no doubt, I was either an Ni-Te user or Ni-Ti user. However I found no references for "unregular types", what I found was the Ni-Ti loop phenomenon, however, that is not the case, I am born this way, my personality is consistent since I was a kid and I am very healthy and assertive. Recently I decided to make sure about which judge-axis I used: Ti-Fe vs Te-Fi... and I have no doubt I am an Ni-Ti-Fe-Se user, and that there are at least 17 personality types then hahaha, up to 32. When I read about INTJs and INFJs I can confidently say I am a lot like both, but still unique. So... I think it's worth exploring this "new" function setup, since it does behave like a different type as a whole - unique set of characteristic, as unique as any other type. Thanks for clarifying, I am struggling with observing Blast, both in myself and others, so this is very helpful! I'm wondering: is Blast more than only oral communication? E.g. organizing facts by writing a report or making an overview in excel, could that also be Blast? Cause it is about organizing for the sake of the tribe.

Pretty sure I'm Te/Se blast last, so does this look like extreme avoidance in finding out what the tribe thinks about your ideas? I am honestly terrified of showing myself to the tribe in any capacity. I want to feel really sure about the info I have. However I don't do this somewhere like Reddit, I'll happily cast ideas out and ignore people who disagree with me. Its more of a brain dump I think.
Blast is also sharing a deep passion. And I find I am taken aback when I blast and others are surprised when I am so quiet and then chime in with such an agenda that is pointed and well thought out. They had no idea I had so much goin on in my head and could be so articulate.
Happy New Year Lindsay! Good examples in this very blasty video (i.e. it's well organized with clearly stated points)! The only time I'd heard the term "brain dump" before this video was from a co-worker (maybe INTJ, but not sure) who described me (INTP) as doing this, and sometimes specifically asked me to do a brain dump for him, trying to grab some half-formed ideas that he could organize into a coherent structure. Normally I would want to keep everything inside my head until it was ready to show to the tribe. Of course then it tended to look like whatever I'd come up with just spontaneously appeared, and they wanted to see my work! And explaining the thought process isn't easy. Giving good presentations on their work is something a lot of technical people struggle with--I guess from an OP perspective they need to develop their blast.
Interesting clarifications regarding Not Blast. But why would lead Oi users tend to have blast first? If they are presenting organized information for the tribe, wouldn't they first have organized that information before blasting?
As an IP I think so. As Lindsay said and I agree us IP's may got it twisted on what blast actually is, so in otherwords actual blast will require more effort than just dumping on others and yes to your point an attempt to use our lower functions in a somewhat lazy way that's probably not respected by pure blasters, I guess. 🤷♂️🙂
Dave and Shan's new video "143 bird" has some good Blast advice in it. It is about Imogen Heap who is an ExxP, but the advice should still be valuable to anyone with low Blast. Basically, you gotta "stop chasing" new info as you're talking and instead simply focus on what you wanted to say anyways when you decided to start talking. Blast is so clear, because it talks based on information that is narrowed down to the important parts.
It may be their attempt but it’s still not blast if you’re looking at it critically. As a lead blast when I see someone brain dump I see someone talking to themselves but with someone else present lol. And it’s great to attempt! But the thing is they usually get frustrated when the other person isn’t excited or interested in the information, and that can prevent them from wanting to try again. I think they could be more successful if they understood blast so they could tailor the information they want to share in a more digestible way.
@@InternetLiJo Yeah. The "stop chasing" advice refers to using Oi instead of Oe. But to Blast, you'll also have to use the De to determine which info the other person actually needs, otherwise it'd be a "Sleep brain dump" :)
Some flavours of Blast can be very hard to recognize as Blast at all. In particular: Kanye West. I admittedly don't know him well. But I watched the first half of his JRE appearance. And I thought: "Damn, it is so so sooo hard to grasp what the heck he's saying! And he's so all over himself, he gotta be CS/SC with N first and Blast last!" Turns out, nope! He's Blast - FIRST! What the heck! 😂 His type is FF-Ni/Te-BP/C(S) Your Blast, Lindsay, is much, much easier to follow than that of Kanye West 😄😂

Welp, just when I thought I was finally starting to understand the animals. Now I am not so sure. I think what makes it difficult to understand the animals is that we are often trying to associate people's behavior to an animal, when an animal is really just a cognitive process that is going on in someone's head. For example my gf loves to take naps during the day, and she doesn't really like to go out. Sounds like sleep over play, but in actuality she is always thinking about other people before her self, and she has a certain curiosity and intrigue that makes me think she is gather over organize. That means she is lead play. However that just doesn't sit right because she is an introverted person and play is the most extroverted animal. I will have to sleep process this some more.
Another thing I want to add that makes understanding the animals difficult is that with technology you can "outsource" your functions and/or animals. Again, using my gf as an example, she prefers to stay in most days and lay in bed, however she'll be on her phone or tablet having multiple conversations across multiple social media platforms. so her "play" is happening virtually.
I just want to point out you can have both sleep and consume as a savior. They don’t necessarily cancel eachother out, so play doesn’t have to be the only possibility. Also, thinking about people first doesn’t exactly make you an extroverted decider, especially if you never respect the tribes decisions. I think you are way overthinking this and she is most likely Consume/Sleep, then probably Play with Blast last. Just the act of using Play while online doesn’t mean that she is in a savior state while doing so.
Thank you this was very helpful. Point to you on the brain dump but to be fair the word "blast" outside of the OP animal fits really well with our perceptive experience of brain dumping on someone. It feels a lot like shooting information at someone out of a cannon or something similar. I don't really like the idea of not being able to use the word blast at all outside of the animal context, maybe we can devise a contextual understanding of using "blast" the animal vs "blast" the non-typing in conversation?

Maybe a mix of sleep and play? I tend to have a lot of things click in my head when I brain dump on someone from the process of saying/typing it out. And if they return with their output (play) then the new perspectives can offer even more to process.

How do you people integrate Human Personality with the Free Will debate? Does everyone here just assume humans truly have Free Will? Haha no, our functions are just a representation of our programming. These functions are connected to us on a genetic level so when you can recognize them, you can basically determine all future behaviors with extreme accuracy. So essentially, we think it's free will but it's just a running program.

Just throwing these names without much thought, it obviously could use some work. The point is, they still are a binary coin, it's just more personal to the individual quadra perspective.
I definitely wouldn't say teach vs. learn; EPs and IPs often feel like they're teaching when they're actually just looking for, as LiJo said, others to get excited about the information.

I’m going to be doing more on blast. It’s the one animal that I have the most experience with lol.
This vocabulary is new to me, but I understand blast to mean communicating an organized analysis of a structure or situation so that others can approach it intelligently and skillfully. Bonus if those others are on your guild/team/passion group. This contrasts mightily with the brain dump that I might call a sounding-board experience, where some people need another person to hear their processed thinking before they can understand it themselves. I can understand the sounding board experience because I often need to see a written expression of what I am thinking about in order to continue thinking coherently about my own thoughts (hence this comment). Is this comment helpful to others? Maybe, maybe not. I personally cannot stand being the recipient of sounding board activity when it is dumped on me, I.e., nobody asked me if I have time to listen. With a written comment, people can choose what they have time for.

Hey Lindsey, how do you think Ne blast differs from Ni blast? For instance, I'm an Ne/Fe play first with double activated blast and I talk every side of a particular concept as opposed to in an organized Ni manner; I may jump from A to F but I also still cover B, C, D & E ; It's just not necessarily in a respective order.

Well if both of your blast functions were activated twice that menas your demon Si has two activations and your Fe. So you must be PBSC?
In which case I would look at your Si not Ne since Ne isn’t a part of blast. It means you would still do the play thing as a default with Ne but you would follow up with Si details for the tribe so they could stay on board most likely.

Question:
Does thinking about saying something or saying something inside your mind with a specific person or group of people in mind count as Blast ?
Because technically when I do that, I organize information with tribe in mind (as I speak this in my head to try to write and convey it to the reader), but generally I wouldn't actually say it to them.

Blast is actually I have learned the experience from introversion and will teach you how you can also understand the same experience. It's a subjective experience and urgency to teach or tell someone :)
Omg this is amazing ✨✨ always thought that I have sleep/blast cause I’m always imagining having conversations with other in my brain to try to narrow everything down and then I go talked to ppl (which I thought is blast) but It actually me hoping others to check out for me, I keep asking them: “do you get what I am saying?” From ppl’s reactions I know that they understand nothing, just me speaking nonsense all of the time 😂
This is really good. Give us that sweet sweet accuracy check. I think I'm blast last and the brain dump phenomenon is too real. One arena where I do see some blast in myself is at work, where I'm relatively better experienced in the decisions that need to be made day to day than others are, so I'll sometimes give direction, solicited or not, based on what accomplishes the clear Te goals of the shop, from out of my Si catalogue of what's happened in the past that was similar.
Blast is simplified - even if it's phrased on the spot, it does not involve on-the-spot disclaimers and qualifiers and considerations of what else is possible. It's not exploratory.
Blast is from inside outward - I relate to enneagram 9 which seems to be correlated to F-De plus blast last, and in that vein blast is difficult because I'm constantly trying to simulate and anticipate others reactions. My information is constantly being sourced from my imagination of my immediate surroundings and the tribe, so my distilled information gets muddled. I feel obligated to the play and the consume, all the Ne possibilities of how things could be totally different. Lol.
If you make more videos about blast, I'd love it if you touched on the 4 kinds, especially since this video felt very Te tinged. Fe blast feels pretty different from Te blast ime.

Even Blast Last people can Blast. But sometimes their talking IS brain-dumping and sometimes their attempts at Blast can sound like brain-dumping.
I’ve got a friend who is Blast third and spent years in ToastMasters to learn, essentially to communicate, including Blasting, coherently.
My daughter is Blast last. Sometimes she will “info vomit” in a way that no one can grasp. She knows what she wants to say and it’s just not coming out. Same daughter wins speech contests, routinely. When she’s organized and rehearsed, she’s highly effective at Blast.

I figured out MBTI and was right away typed as INFJ. Read about it and it did make sense. However, when I read about INTJ I also identified as much as I identified with INFJ. So I took a lot of tests again. Got 2x ENTJ, 2x ISTJ, 3x INTJ, 5x INFJ.
At school I was always said to be the "solitary wolf", ultra rational and cold guy - who doesn't like to hang out, hate small talk, most of the times dislike even to talk. I thought nearly everybody was stupid and useless, a waste of time. Very concerned with my future and my own business. About feelings... honestly I didn't like that people used to say I was cold, I knew I was very empath deep down my heart, always eager to help who I cared about - and it didn't take a lot for me to care, maybe... "half" a lot (hahaha). Beyond that, I was/am very idealistic, have ambitious goals for love, a relationships and family - which matches with Ni+Fe usage.
Everyone online always think I am INTJ due to my "Thinking approach" and "technical" way of expressing myself and using words. Overtime, I had no doubt, I was either an Ni-Te user or Ni-Ti user. However I found no references for "unregular types", what I found was the Ni-Ti loop phenomenon, however, that is not the case, I am born this way, my personality is consistent since I was a kid and I am very healthy and assertive.
Recently I decided to make sure about which judge-axis I used: Ti-Fe vs Te-Fi... and I have no doubt I am an Ni-Ti-Fe-Se user, and that there are at least 17 personality types then hahaha, up to 32.
When I read about INTJs and INFJs I can confidently say I am a lot like both, but still unique. So... I think it's worth exploring this "new" function setup, since it does behave like a different type as a whole - unique set of characteristic, as unique as any other type.

Thanks for clarifying, I am struggling with observing Blast, both in myself and others, so this is very helpful! I'm wondering: is Blast more than only oral communication? E.g. organizing facts by writing a report or making an overview in excel, could that also be Blast? Cause it is about organizing for the sake of the tribe.
Blast when it’s using Si often looks like reports and spreadsheets! My Ni brain mostly does the Google docs so I can reuse them in the future.

Pretty sure I'm Te/Se blast last, so does this look like extreme avoidance in finding out what the tribe thinks about your ideas? I am honestly terrified of showing myself to the tribe in any capacity. I want to feel really sure about the info I have. However I don't do this somewhere like Reddit, I'll happily cast ideas out and ignore people who disagree with me. Its more of a brain dump I think.
Blast is also sharing a deep passion. And I find I am taken aback when I blast and others are surprised when I am so quiet and then chime in with such an agenda that is pointed and well thought out. They had no idea I had so much goin on in my head and could be so articulate.
I can absolutely see that as a trigger. A deep interest that is trigger and already has organized info.

The only time I'd heard the term "brain dump" before this video was from a co-worker (maybe INTJ, but not sure) who described me (INTP) as doing this, and sometimes specifically asked me to do a brain dump for him, trying to grab some half-formed ideas that he could organize into a coherent structure. Normally I would want to keep everything inside my head until it was ready to show to the tribe. Of course then it tended to look like whatever I'd come up with just spontaneously appeared, and they wanted to see my work! And explaining the thought process isn't easy.
Giving good presentations on their work is something a lot of technical people struggle with--I guess from an OP perspective they need to develop their blast.

Interesting clarifications regarding Not Blast. But why would lead Oi users tend to have blast first? If they are presenting organized information for the tribe, wouldn't they first have organized that information before blasting?
Maybe because they have double decide functions in the middle to quickly internalize the consume and they are ready to blast it out quickly?

As an IP I think so. As Lindsay said and I agree us IP's may got it twisted on what blast actually is, so in otherwords actual blast will require more effort than just dumping on others and yes to your point an attempt to use our lower functions in a somewhat lazy way that's probably not respected by pure blasters, I guess. 🤷♂️🙂
Dave and Shan's new video "143 bird" has some good Blast advice in it. It is about Imogen Heap who is an ExxP, but the advice should still be valuable to anyone with low Blast. Basically, you gotta "stop chasing" new info as you're talking and instead simply focus on what you wanted to say anyways when you decided to start talking. Blast is so clear, because it talks based on information that is narrowed down to the important parts.
It may be their attempt but it’s still not blast if you’re looking at it critically. As a lead blast when I see someone brain dump I see someone talking to themselves but with someone else present lol. And it’s great to attempt! But the thing is they usually get frustrated when the other person isn’t excited or interested in the information, and that can prevent them from wanting to try again. I think they could be more successful if they understood blast so they could tailor the information they want to share in a more digestible way.
@@InternetLiJo Yeah. The "stop chasing" advice refers to using Oi instead of Oe. But to Blast, you'll also have to use the De to determine which info the other person actually needs, otherwise it'd be a "Sleep brain dump" :)

Welp, just when I thought I was finally starting to understand the animals. Now I am not so sure. I think what makes it difficult to understand the animals is that we are often trying to associate people's behavior to an animal, when an animal is really just a cognitive process that is going on in someone's head. For example my gf loves to take naps during the day, and she doesn't really like to go out. Sounds like sleep over play, but in actuality she is always thinking about other people before her self, and she has a certain curiosity and intrigue that makes me think she is gather over organize. That means she is lead play. However that just doesn't sit right because she is an introverted person and play is the most extroverted animal. I will have to sleep process this some more.

Another thing I want to add that makes understanding the animals difficult is that with technology you can "outsource" your functions and/or animals. Again, using my gf as an example, she prefers to stay in most days and lay in bed, however she'll be on her phone or tablet having multiple conversations across multiple social media platforms. so her "play" is happening virtually.
I just want to point out you can have both sleep and consume as a savior. They don’t necessarily cancel eachother out, so play doesn’t have to be the only possibility. Also, thinking about people first doesn’t exactly make you an extroverted decider, especially if you never respect the tribes decisions. I think you are way overthinking this and she is most likely Consume/Sleep, then probably Play with Blast last. Just the act of using Play while online doesn’t mean that she is in a savior state while doing so.
Thank you this was very helpful. Point to you on the brain dump but to be fair the word "blast" outside of the OP animal fits really well with our perceptive experience of brain dumping on someone. It feels a lot like shooting information at someone out of a cannon or something similar. I don't really like the idea of not being able to use the word blast at all outside of the animal context, maybe we can devise a contextual understanding of using "blast" the animal vs "blast" the non-typing in conversation?

so what is the brain dump then, Play? i’m an INFP who rarely has the tribe in mind - let alone any tribe-related goal - when i say anything tbh, so i’m guessing my tribe interactions are mainly based on Play? like throw it out there and see if anyone will come to my sandbox - but not really caring one way or another? or am i just an asshole? 😂
Maybe a mix of sleep and play? I tend to have a lot of things click in my head when I brain dump on someone from the process of saying/typing it out. And if they return with their output (play) then the new perspectives can offer even more to process.

How do you people integrate Human Personality with the Free Will debate? Does everyone here just assume humans truly have Free Will? Does everyone here just assume the composition of our brain cells determine our personality, and then after that, we truly have the ability to freely choose our actions (a.k.a Free Will)? You had no choice in your eye color, or whether you were born with 10 fingers and 10 toes. Why do you think you truly had the choice of what to eat for lunch today? I realize it REALLY SEEMS like you had the choice of what to eat for lunch today, but that doesn't prove Free Will, does it?
Haha no, our functions are just a representation of our programming. These functions are connected to us on a genetic level so when you can recognize them, you can basically determine all future behaviors with extreme accuracy. So essentially, we think it's free will but it's just a running program.
