People like Riis forget that they have the riches they enjoy today because they doped. An Armstrong without doping would only be a winner in day races, not in mountain stages. Riis would never have won a tour de france without it. Hincapie might have been in that top group of riders if all were clean but without it he would never have been as good as he was when he helped Armstrong win. I love these series but it seems that it always comes back at that they all did it so it was an even playingfield. It was not. We all can come to that conclusion when you do research on those doping days back then. The how and where and having the backing to dope like a king or dope like a civilian. So mister Riis, you might be a great leader now and the past is the past but be open and honest about it, fully not partly like you do now.
