The Lebolds have been heavily involved with youth and the people of our community until their retirement in 2020.Since their ownership of the lanes, Don and Ann have been active in the community. They have always felt compelled towards encouraging good citizenship in our youth of today. In 1995, they implemented a new program called the Turn Around Achievement Award. Working closely with the Salem-Keizer School District, the Turn Around Achievement honors students for their effort, perseverance, and commitment toward change in their lives. Bringing young people into the sport of bowling has always been a priority.
In 2020 Town and Country Lanes was sold to The REC which will continue the entertainment venue in an expanded direction. The REC is a community recreation facility with: Bowling, a Music & Video Production Studio, event space, an arcade & more.
