Recently started learning spanish through an app and your videos. The app can be boring at times but your videos are just perfect and make me more excited about the learning process. The tempo is slow enough but doesn't feel like i'm treated like a toddler. You have a great vibe in your videos!.

I just found your channel. I enjoyed the lesson and I think I will subscribe. My mom’s family was from Puerto Rico but, I had no desire to learn it as a kid because I thought it sounded funny. In high school I took a Spanish class but kinda slept through it. I remember spending a couple of summers in Puerto Rico with my grandmother and got to where I could understand cartoons and basic communication, I took four semesters of Spanish in college and I used to use it a lot when I worked as a Parole officer. Now I am retired and want to work on my Spanish again.
My mothertongue is Greek and I can honestly say I feel so so so comfortable shadowing your spanish. I feel as if I speak 50% of the language
Native Spanish speaker here. I've always thought Greek is the closest-sounding language. If I overhear someone speaking in Greek, I am not able to tell if it's European Spanish, because you guys use the same hissing sounds and vowels. That's lovely.

This was a very good language learning method. The title had me scared but with my intermediate French and Italian and zero Spanish background I guessed what all the objects were and learned their Spanish names.

I guessed them all correctly (at least the English words!) I have to tell my daughter that a spatula is called un lengua de gato! I have used a potato peeler to peel a winter squash when I tried canning squash. The peeler worked well and the squash was delicious when I opened the glass Mason jars, 6 to 8 months later. This was a great video - Thank you! - Dave
