I used to decorate my journal and my daughter would love to flip through the pages. This is really nice, I know she’d want to flip through the Bible if I put one together like this for her.
My daughter is turning 13 in a couple of weeks- I will be working on this for her for her 15th bday (hopefully) I love this project

Aww You are such a wonderful mother. I have this bible and want to do t he same thing for my Daughter. Like you said, what you do for one you have t o do for the others. I have a son and I dont know if he will be into all of the artsy things. What do you think? Maybe just a prayer bible with all the prayers that I prayed for him?

I'm doing this for each of my kids. I have 3. It's a combination of prayers and devotions. I love the inspire bible because I love to color and they are just beautiful bibles. My girls will get the inspire bibles and my son who I dont think will like the covers of those bible will get the inductive bible. I have started on my son and my oldest daughter.

People say these translations or translations outside of kjv are false. Well let me tell you, i got this as a gift yesterday and i opened it first time but i saved the spot, closed it then reopened to a salm 37 and it was what a few of my coworkers needed to know. Then i went to the first page opened and it related back to psalm 37. Befoew yesterday day i got lost in confusion because a coworker keeps going on to saying i will be condemned for using a non kjv. But i was like then how did i get into my journey with God with an esv bible? And guess what when i opened the kjv i opened to half of 7 different pages to versus connecting to each other i went into esv and it still went into connection with what the kjv chapter pages and it was all 7 diff chapters and versus but still with the same lesson. Not once did i open to a repeat page. All familiar but unfamiliar chapters and versus since it is my 2nd reading after finishing a cover to cover reading. We believers in christ must not stick so closely to rules made by those before us if we are not growing. Expand in your reading. Cross check between versions if you arent too comfortable starting through a transition but once again if it doesnt work for you go back to it or ask the father for wisdom understanding and faith as you read. Be blessed in Jesus's mighty name 🎉❤
You can do this sort of thing for your grandchildren etc too. Don't forget them.

I think as a Grandmother I will only color one or two pages each book of the Bible.. I will ask my grand daughters Mom, my daughter to color one or two pages each book, leaving pages for my Grand daughter to color and maybe even leave pages for her daughter , son or or grand kids to do. After all it will be a treasure that they will want to pass down. Right?!🥴😇😉
I’m thinking of getting this Bible. I’m just having a hard time deciding between the hard and soft cover. Is the soft cover more durable? Is this why it’s more expensive?
You will love it...probably, I really like the soft but that's a personal preference. It is very durable!
How did you get her name embossed on the bible?
What did you use to color the pages? Colored pencils or gel highlighters?

I am doing a Bible for my little sister and I plan on placing money in some areas and I’m not sure what else as I’m not sure when it will be complete.
The only issue I find with that is thinking You should be rewarded for doing something You should do as a believer in Christ. But even adult Christians expect something from GOD in obedience and not so much.
You are right--I was thinking the same thing in fact. Although I also figured, hey, if it keeps her going and she reads through it all then I am hoping her heart is turned to the Lord! :) I love your idea. I thought the same thing--even if it's a few dollars here or there, or a gift card, or a little necklace or bracelet that isn't bulky, or stickers, lots of little treats that are fun, plane tickets to Paris at the end! LOL just teasing! :)

Is this Bible still missing Bible verses? Because I’ve read that there were a lot of missing Bible verses.
I was giving that bible as a gift bc i wantd it so much but i cant seem to get into it..i feel lik its more of an artwork..need some advice plz.

I love the reward aspect but don’t tell her about it and keep it a surprise until she reaches that point in the Bible, that way she’s not just reading it for the “reward”

These New Living Bibles are beautiful, but they are only a Bible story, a transliteration, not the actual Word of God. They will never have the power of a closer translation of God's actual Word/Love letter to us.
I have heard many, many different claims throughout my lifetime as to best translations only to hear another claim in a few years. How about this: we ask our Father in heaven what he wants for us individually in the way of translations and stop poking others for their choices.
