Your daughter is such a genius! I don't have drawing talent at all. So I will buy stencils a lot from dollar tree not knowing what they will be used for. Now I know what to do with them. I got a huge Mr. Pen set of highlighters last month for my birthday. You are such a great mom for giving your daughter full credit for coming up with coloring with highlighters. I am sure all viewers are and will be so impressed and proud of her for coming up with that genius idea.
I love the idea of using actual pictures in your bible. I want to gift my journaling bible to my daughter at some point in the future, and this is a sweet idea. Your bible is beautiful.

You can also use color pencils lightly. I recommend prisma color pencils. Then you will get a wider variety of colors. I have tried this and it works great!
