The Fugitive Predator was a hybridised Yautja who contained traces of Human DNA in his genetic makeup.
His mission was to deliver an advanced weapon to humanity so they could fend off an impending Predator invasion, and to also defect to Earth as an Emissary.
However, before he could carry out his mission, he was captured by Project Stargazer, while several pieces of his equipment were stolen by a special-ops soldier named Quinn McKenna.
The Fugitive stood at 7 feet and 8 inches tall, with Black dreadlocks, and Greenish-Yellow eyes; He wore a Biomask and armour of a Gunmetal colour with Gold accents.
The Fugitive Predator was equipped with Wristblades, Cloaking Device, Smart Disc, and not only a shoulder-mounted Plasma Caster, but his mask contained a miniature version that would automatically return fire upon detecting an attack.
Also, his wrist-gauntlet would fire small discs automatically at threats.
These systems lacked any form of user authentication, and would still work even if taken by a Human.
Fugitive was very capable as a combatant, easily killing dozens of Project Stargazer’s security personnel both with and without his equipment.
He was not above utilising his natural weaponry when unarmed, as he was observed biting the arm of a scientist attempting to restrain him, and dealt a killing blow with a swipe of his claws.
Fugitive also seemed to possess an understanding of human communication and culture; as he was seen to repeat a password he’d heard spoken by a guard while escaping the lab, and used a severed arm to create a thumb's up gesture in order to deceive the driver of the truck he was stowing away on. And then when he took one of the so-called “Loonies” hostage, he was able to motion to the others to put down their weapons.
The Fugitive Predator first appears in his spaceship trying to outrun another ship piloted by the Assassin Predator seen in pursuit.
The Fugitive Predator opens a wormhole and flies through it, temporarily escaping. The wormhole opens in Earth’s orbit and the Fugitive Predator’s ship tumbles towards Earth, before he ejects inside an escape-pod.
A soldier called Quinn McKenna is on a mission in Mexico when the pod crashes near him.
As he goes to investigate, he recovers the Predator’s helmet and puts on his wrist gauntlet.
As Fugitive approaches him, McKenna accidentally activates the wrist gauntlet which fires a disc injuring Fugitive and knocking him to the ground.
The government sect behind Project Stargazer recovers the pod as well as the Fugitive Predator for study, and conclude that the Predator has human DNA inside of it.
In the laboratory, the Fugitive Predator regains consciousness and breaks free from the restraints, killing many scientists and Guards.
After discovering the location of a device is at McKenna’s house, Fugitive boards a military truck, and deceives the driver into thinking everything is okay with a thumbs-up from a severed hand.
The Fugitive catches up with the Loonies at the school, and after a standoff, catches up again and grabs McKenna.
McKenna hands back the device, but just then, the Assassin Predator appears from behind the window and pulls Fugitive out through it.
Fugitive engages The Assassin Predator, but is no match for the giant monstrosity, he throws him onto a parked car, smashes his face with a single hit, and rips his head off, killing him.
It is revealed that the Fugitive Predator wasn’t on Earth to harm mankind, but to instead save them.
He had stolen a special Predator weapon called the Predator Killer and planned to give it to the Humans to help them defend against an incoming invasion from the Assassin Predator’s faction.
So I thought it was kind of an interesting idea behind the Fugitive Predator, but I personally wasn’t a fan of the way it was executed, and I also didn’t really like that they tried to change the lore around the Predators, making the reason they hunted people all about wanting their DNA rather than hunting for sport, I’m just not a fan of the movie in general.
Maybe this could have been okay for a side-story like a comic or a game, but for a mainline canon Predator film, I think it was a bit silly.

Tbh if this movie was about the fugitive predator being an actual fugitive it would of been 10x better in my opinion

The film is, most unfortunately, inferior in quality, still "Prey" is much worse.

Fugitive was a cool Yautja, Just wish he lasted longer in the movie.
Man his gear was soooo dope. That mask was like a revamped modern version of the 87 pred mask so bad ass. Rip
I think the fugitive Pred has one of, if not the coolest looking gear in the series.

Yeah, this movie was silly in too many ways. The Fugitive was a very interesting and novel idea that they killed off too quick, but yeah, the logic and adherence to any of the lore just was not there.
And then the whole mess seems to end on something like ...a cliffhanger?? The fabulous-but-improbable suit is never to be seen in action, ever???🙄

In follow up (to my own comment, I know), the Predator is thematic, and based on the idea of "almost godlike beings who can only be defeated by the very best and ingenious". A bit like Alien.

The Fugitive Predator from the movie was one awesome character and made me laugh quite a few times when I first saw the movie at the theatres from him waving his finger at the humans to him giving that soldier the thumbs up when he was sitting in the back of that transport truck and I'll bet it got a few laughs from the audience too.
Petition to bring back the writers of the old predator movies.
yeah I definitely agree with you there the lore change sucks but the Fugitives weapons and tactics were nicely done.

It's disappointing how this concept was executed, but thought it was cool to have seen more of these emissary predator's. (half human, half predator) just done more better.
The Fugitive Predator is going to hunt down the One-Armed Man, and rip out his spine.
I was disappointed when furgitive was defeated easily by the ultimate predator, even though the ultimate is very strong, furgitive has great potential.. If he cooperated with humans but he died too quickly
They should’ve switched the roles around, the fugitive should’ve had the assassin predator role, then you have a more coherent story, the smaller predator comes to earth in the hopes of killing the bigger predator because the assassin has went against the honor code by mixing dna, because the assassin is incredibly dangerous the fugitive is bringing the weapon in case he fails this way the humans will still have a fighting chance against the assassin. It’s no godfather in terms of quality but at least it doesn’t ruin the lore gives us a hunt, plus this is a way to fix the mistakes of predators (btw I like Predators 2010) a lot of people were disappointed that the classic predator was beaten so easily in this one with the fugitive winning and taking the skull you show this are still the meanest intergalactic badasses in the universe, just a thought

Remember in one scene the female lead character in the movie who was a geneticist was told the Fugitive Predator had human d.n.a. and she looked at the others as she said 'Okay I get it you want to find out who screwed an alien's.
This film just isn't canon, it doesn't deserve to be regarded as canon. It belongs in the AVP cannon if anything, they even had the alien tail spear there as an Easter egg 🥚 so.

I'm always disappointed that any predators with future storyline potential are killed off.
There's only so far you can stretch the "Predator shows up, kills some humans, dies" storylines.
I want a movie on the predators planet, maybe explaining their government, history, women ect. Just more explaining their culture at home.
Unless the race of Yaujta the Fugitive was prepping the humans against are from a clan of Bad Bloods

Fugitive, Tracker, Celtic, and Chopper. Killed off too quick to be anything good.
They sure look cool but don’t get to do much. Celtic at least got to take on Grid before dying very cocky like and Fugitive had the cool lab scene but I put them in the same rank of wasted potential
This movie went too much the route let's not take this movie seriously at all, this had the potential to restart this franchise now it's very unlikely that any real director or funding will come to Predator franchise.

well damn straight i thought the big guy mentioned about something he asked "where was it?" i was like oh it's that weapon he asked about. you know i think this predator killer suit would be a perfect weapon for the colonial marines (tho this is different timeline i get it but i was kinda thinking too much of AVP) if shane black would make another movie atleast he could. it's not like everyone finds it so sexist (which i heard rumors about it) if they don't like it don't bother about it. but those damn journalists always making up false story to make things look bad like cartoon network (which i no longer support that studio) dreamworks. other studios we use to love till all went fallen apart.
The so-called "friendly" fugitive predator, who was supposed to have come to help, organized terrible bloodshed at the research facility, killing dozens of people. It is slightly ironic, is not it?

The fugitive has so much potential, until they decided to kill the character. When the fugitive died I almost lost interest to continue watching. I just finished the movie only to find out that it's not worth finishing

I only watched about 25 minutes of this movie and got very bored. Had to watch the original predator after.
The only good thing about the movie was the fugitive Predator and that was it. And killing him off early was stupid.

The backstory of this predator makes zero sense. Why the hell was he trying to take it from humans then?!

A new script reveal of this movie shows that the Assassin Predator is part of BadBlood clan that uses other alien tech and dna to upgrade themselves. The fugitive just store that armor because if the Bad Blood figured how it worked there was no way to stop him. He was hit while escaping and decided to hide on Earth, but got captured by humans. Thats whu he got so aggressive in the lab and was trying to get the armor back.
The movie's all over the place
The only good part about this film is that fugitive predator design sepcially the helmet looks so cool other tha. That is just pure garbage
