I have one doubt..
As per my understanding , the first string of a Tanpura is tuned to Pancham or Madhyam or Nishad of the lower ( mandra) octave. The pair of the second and the third strings is tuned to middle octave SA ( tonic)and the fourth one to
lower octave SA .
In this video u have named them as ऊपर का सा और नीचे का सा।
Do u mean the same thing as I understand or u r referring to some other notes?
Kindly clear my doubt.
