Holy crap, this is unbelievable. When I was 4-5 years old, I had a toy keyboard, which had some preset songs, most of which I knew. But there was one song I didn't know, and had no idea how it was called. A few years later I started learning piano, once every few years I would recall this, and be stumped again. I'm pretty sure I asked my piano teacher, and also found sites like Musipedia which are supposed to help you find songs by melody, but in this case to no avail.
And now, more than 20 years later, I was playing around with Google's song search, and once again recalled that old song. I played it to the search, and it brought me here. Finally, the mystery is over. I am now complete.

Oh, wow! I had a toy keyboard with this song as a preset as well. Mine was red with light blue buttons and knobs. Csikos Post was my favorite song on there. I'm not sure how I found the name, but that keyboard is also the reason why I'm here.
My toy keyboard had this song too but I rediscovered the song back when I frist played Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games on the Wii which had this as one of the songs in a event.
I have fond memories of my little purple 2-octave toy keyboard with this song on it as well! I must have been 4 or 5 years old

Didn't the 2nd Hungarian Rhapsody come after? I thought this was also a folk song. And Liszt also likes to use Hungarian folk songs as base for his pieces so I wouldn't be surprised.

there is one thing wrong, i am playing the piece as well and you don't follow the pianissimo and forte like the piece has written. (I am absolutely sure i am playing the same piece with the same notes)
Max Paulus Yeah I played this too and I noticed the same. It is also a little bit faster, but over all, well done!
@@mwexim7132 I really think he speed up the video, his hands are moving insanely fast (for real like slow down the vid to 0,5 and it still looks like his left hand teleport sometimes), and he hasn't made any mistakes on the kinda-hungarian-rapsodhy part, it seems wrong to me.
Alea toire I watched it again and this is the speed the piece is played on. It could be faster than he recorded, but then he would have played really slow
