But, you may try Macy's, Nordstroms or Dillards, Pottery Barn, etc. The Vintage French style silver chaffin dishes was purchased at an estate sale. Just came across your video. Very Nice!. I love the plate stand idea to hold the appetizer/salad plates. Question? How does it hold up to sturdiness when it comes to the weight of the plates on top? Any concerns of tipping over easily if bumped?
Welcome my friend, very good question. You must be careful when selecting a platter vs the base of the stand to prevent balance and sturdiness issues. If you want to use a larger platter surface, compensate the balance with a larger base. Dollar Tree has a flat glass candle plate that is larger, glue that onto the bottom of the glass candle stand to give it a larger foundation to hold a large platter surface. try it out first before your event to check for balance. What I've show in this video is just the right amount of balance for appetizers only. Thank you for watching and your comments.
