Doesn't sound like they did anything about it though. My guess is they decided it wasn't worth charging him with anything and just cut him from the volunteer program instead.

Verge? Heh I got some funny news for you. Florida state statute 316.271 says that only emergency vehicles may be in possession of emergency sirens, if you listen to what the owner said he asks, "Did any of you use the sirens?", to which they reply, "No only the airhorn". Statute 316.2397 says that use of a red light is also illegal. I can quote statutes too, these guys are breaking the law just with their vehicles. So to clarify. "He's talking too much" is how you can tell they THINK they're doing something right on the verge of being illegal, when in fact they ARE doing something illegal.
Wow you just destroyed my entire business model. Gonna need to talk to your SARJENT. Don't care if you're the Chief of Police..... Get me your SARJENT!!!!!! - Metro State clowns
@J G "I'm a State Agent" says Dewitte in one of the videos. He yelled that at a driver of a car who told him to "Stop pretending you're a police officer". He has used that term numerous times in the past, apparently.
Dewitt's problem was that he wanted to be an officer, but was never able to qualify due to legality issues of his past. He formed a business that allowed him to "act" in a manner that the general public would get the initial impression that he's a form of law enforcement. The thing about Florida is that it's a huge tourist attraction, lots of people from out of state visit and don't necessarily know that this is merely a funeral service business. The initial impression you receive when you hear sirens and and see lights on a vehicle that is equipped similarly to a police vehicle... is yes, let's move over because that's some kind of emergency vehicle. Dewitt preyed on this misconception. Realistically, in his mind, he justified every avenue possible with his business at that present time (it has since been dissolved) in order to fulfil a yearning for being an authoritative figure.
Honestly, you wrote that very well and it’s super commendable how he created a whole company. He was doing what he loved and he did it with a legitimate company that actually helped and service the community. His tactics were just a bit much.
@@MikoWorldwide Absolutely. Many people will bash on Dewitt, but he did have a successful business in that industry with an actual location, assets, etcetera. I'm in agreement that the tactics were a bit dodgy that landed him in some hot water & legally having to dissolve the business, but regardless of that, it does take quite a bit of passion, dedication and commitment to form your own business and for it to be successful. 👍
@@Jusader A bit dodgy? For Christ sakes, did you watch the videos? He made simple funeral processions more cumbersome and dangerous than presidential motorcades. He screamed and yelled at normal drivers just trying to go about their business with zero authority to do so. And why did he and his band of trained monkeys carry pepper ball guns, handcuffs, and batons? No power of arrest. These were just fake cops treating Grandpa's funeral like a military operation.

I loved when this officer was listening to Jeremy on the phone and Jeremy kept referring to his guys as his “officers” and the deputy comes back and refers to the guys as his “employees.” That was classic form, great job, Deputy!
Except that is what Sheriff Volunteers wear. During Beary’s and Deming’s time which is between 4-20 years ago they wore Deputy Sheriff on back of hats. Yunus did everything by the book when he was helping a Muslim family grieve over their loved one who died. Yunus should never have associated with Jeremy until he did a full background check on him. Jeremy used a senior citizen who is highly nieve.
I don't agree with charging the arab guy. English clearly isn't his first language. He said yes but immediately followed up with volunteer the next sentence. Dude wore all volunteer gear. Cops don't wear that shit
“Did one of you use the sirens?” Okay so you’re admitting on camera that your bikes are equipped with sirens? They probably are also equipped with blue lights too. I can’t believe this guy has had so many problems with so many different departments, and he has the nerve to be this indignant, as if he is not the common denominator in every single one of these police encounters. If several different departments in different counties are pulling you 9ver for the exact same thing, clearly this is a “YOU” problem. They already agreed to issue written warnings, a HUGE break, and this idiot is still going! He obviously gets off on trying to “one up” cops.
It seems they are starting the slow process of shutting them down. Unfortunately, the law protects a lot of what these fake cops are doing, so the local PDs are just making sure that they now enforce every violation they commit as opposed to the free reign these kinds of guys had before. Eventually, they will realize they have to follow the law and they won't be able to operate the same way.

The guy with Sheriff's Vest on isn't a Metro State Employee. He's a Special/Reserve/Volunteer Officer (whatever the state of Florida calls it. I'm just familiar the states of Kansas and NC) with the Orange County Sheriff's Dept. He's retired. There is an issue there with him, but it only indirectly involves Metro State because the sergeant checked him out on site and decided not to worry about it. He's either falsifying reports or hiring out companies like Metro State to help him or leaving out the fact that other agencies are on site during these funerals. It's not criminal as much as it is an audit matter for that the sheriff is spending its resources on.

"he's talking too much" that's how you know they know they're doing something right on the verge of being illegal

Because it’s intimidating to the drivers
@J G "I'm a State Agent" says Dewitte in one of the videos. He yelled that at a driver of a car who told him to "Stop pretending you're a police officer". He has used that term numerous times in the past, apparently.
with "Sheriff" high vis vests and "Orange County Sheriff" hats.

He created an entire phony "police department" in an effort to fool the public into believing he was police without crossing the thin legal line. Even his vehicles are vague...."vehicle protection unit" - clearly designed to distract the public into believing his group had authority it did not have, when all he could do was escort funerals. And why did he and his band of trained monkeys carry pepper ball guns, handcuffs, and batons? No power of arrest. These were just fake cops treating Grandpa's funeral like a military operation.

In one of these videos he was like thats not me on that body cam, yet his Whiney ass voice is totally unmistakable and the fact as he was pulling over a car you could TOTALLY see his face in the back passager window. But no he insisted that was not him and that they often switch body cams during the day!
He's going 90 mph in the wrong direction while giving directives to cars on side streets! This guy is a nut job!
Lol well said...these impersonaters couldn't lead a pack of girl scouts....!!!!
Except I didn't see where he was going in the wrong direction. Unless I missed it, that's a 4 lane road with a median in between the 2 directions. But yea, those hand directives to the other cars were comical. He clearly felt so powerful in that moment🤭 Edit, my bad, I went back and I saw where he was going the wrong direction. 😆
@@emoliver80 You're clearly behind on watching these videos. There's like 15 or 20 of these. I recommended you watch them immediately. You have such a fun afternoon ahead of you.
@@emoliver80 watch it again. There are some shots of 2 lane with cars coming toward him and trying not to hit him.
Gardee sounds like the Family Funtime security guard guy from Bob's Burgers. It's hilarious.
The guy has sherriff written on his high viz and says hes a sheriff. Then claims he never said he was a sheriff.
Broken English I'm sure he meant that he was a volunteer that shit happens to give him a break on that one. The other guys are stupid
@@operationcrazy2696 No he and Jeremy both know the illegal shit they are up too.
Lmao yup he sure did and we all heard him say Sheriff for 17 years 🤦🏽♂️🤣
“Orange County 17 years” exact quote. More like Osceola’s Rook Broken English Deputy. EVERYONE who works for and volunteers for Sheriff Office is technically a Sheriff. Fine line between Sheriff Office workers and volunteers to Deputies. The hat which has Deputy Sheriff on it, well you can blame two elected Sheriffs prior to Sheriff Mina.
@@emergencyrapidresponseteam7181 I understand that, but then the guy lied in the interview by saying he said he is volunteer. It's not the question of what he called himself, its the fact that he lied afterwards which makes him implicit to something unlawful. The fact that he should have said he is deputy.
"We're being harassed! all we did was drive like psychopaths & cause a constant scene when trying to maintain a simple funeral."
Of course DeWitte starts shouting
”SARJENT SARJENT SARJENT”
That's one of the squares on my DeWitte Drinking Game card.
S A R G E A N T !
I just wanted to tell you.. it’s spelled Sargent. Ok I’m done now, have a nice day 😆
He’s the one and only DEWITTE
@@kimbleeblob It's actually spelled Sergeant. It is interesting how we started mispronouncing it long ago.
I like how Jeremy barks orders “right fucking now!” and no one moves. Nor does the lieutenant care at all.
He better figure it out real fast😂
Can you imagine working for this guy?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@johnmccarron7066 It would be a lilwhile for you figure out, he's full of shyt.
After all, you would have up for this "detail" voluntarily.
A couple weeks for you to get in thje groove. a couple months of you listening closely to all the various procedures, and getting used to Jeremy's delivery. etc etc.
I saw 8 months tops for you to figure it all out. UNLESS YOU FIT IN PERFECTLY WELL.
If a giuy has worked there longer than 8 months, he's a azz just like DimWhit.
Idk why Jeremy always try’s to give orders even though he’s not a cop or even an officer
"We don't impersonate the police. We just run sirens and lights like the cops, drive the same vehicles with nearly the same markings as cops, dress almost identically as cops, wear vests and hats that say Sheriff, like the cops, wear body cams like cops, order civilians to pull off the roads, like the cops, greatly exceed speed limits and disregard traffic laws like cops do, when in pursuit of fleeing felons, write tickets like the cops, shut down entire highways like the cops, identify ourselves as cops to civilians and real police officers and tell them about our many years of nonexistent military and law enforcement services, but in no way are we attempting to impersonate police officers.
This is harrassment and these charges are utterly ridiculous! But, just between you and I, yes, we are real cops" - Jeremy Dewitte.
To be fair the guy with the "Sheriff" vest was a "Volunteer" with the Sheriff's dept.
You forgot they have an ambulance too haha
"greatly exceed speed limits and disregard traffic laws like cops do" hahhahahaha priceless
Someone needs to tell these imposters that they are going to run into someone who won't let them talk BS and will instead respond with all necessary force to ensure their safety and to prevent unlawful detention (kidnapping/being taken hostage) or unlawful seizure by non-constitutional officers.
This is the best show ever. They even incriminated themselves with the recordings.
lol so true
A&E should pick up this show to replace live pd I’d watch
“The Adventures of Motor One!!!”
@Scout Trooper TK2112 why not?
No because then it becomes an act
I would definitely watch the show on A&E
What gives the people the right to think just because they're doing an escort for a funeral or whatever that they have the right to endanger other people on the road and to talk to the people like they do
Exactly!! Driving so recklessly is beyond me.
They want more clients
@Jack o going to jail for unnecessarily shooting someone is not "sissy". Especially since we're all watching these videos and know Jeremy has no real power.
And you're wrong about "fear for life" being a solid defense. Go watch Jim Can't Swims video on the Michael Dunn case. Dude was legitimately frightened for his life, but still got convicted because he wasnt thinking rationally.
I'm not supposed to tell anyone this, but they're actually employed by Real World Police to do this to keep us all entertained.
"We're not impersonating police officers.", "Be advised, my officer is recording you right now."
This guy has been a Jeremy Dewitt impersonator for 17 years, Sergeant.
@Michael B Am I the only one wondering why that situation even got that far..dude was a impersonater obviously from the get go. Are those cops playing dumb or did they not see that at all? I'm so confused 😕
@Michael B why do u ask? Yes I do
7 years with Orange County Sheriff Volunteers helping Muslim families under OCSO approval.
He met Jeremy and Metro and hung out with them for 10 years and still helped Muslim families during funerals. Not sure if any were approved. But, I do know 7 years prior to meeting Jeremy and Metro they were approved.
Biggest mistake just recently found out was wearing Orange County in Osceola County, big no no.
Recently double checked our status and we are approved to do Amber Response since we are 501c(3) and EVOC certified, Pilot/Escort/Flagger FDOT Certified.
Its a pity the first officer wasn't more assertive and clear. Motor 1 is a little control freak.
I bet he was fresh out of the Academy.
Well for Jeremy, yes, but if anything cops need to be more relaxed I’d say. (Especially Florida boys, they don’t give AF)
Yeah you can tell he’s a rookie. Just that he bothered to talk to Jeremy on the phone at all shows he’s unsure. Yet he obviously knew it was wrong. So he learned him sumptin in the Academy.
Neil_M_UK he’s obviously a rookie and to be honest, I think we’d all be a little confused coming upon these morons lol
Dumbwitt feeds on cops with weak attitudes. 1.) It catches REAL police off guard and pit them in a diff frame of mind and Dumbwitt feeds off that. Theres way more at work here than someone trying to make a living. Bet 1000 an FBI profiler wld say DeWitt has the potential to be a serial killer.
Jeremy is still pissed off from being kicked out of the police academy like 20 years ago. His attitude is basically “if they won’t let me be a cop, I’ll make myself a cop.” This guy should be in jail he’s a menace!
He was NEVER in ANY type of police academy EVER. He was in a explorer program, that is a high school program run by the boy scouts of america. He was terminated from this program after 3 months for impersonating a police officer to commit a theft. He claims this explorer "experience" (as an 18 year old boy scout volunteer) was a sworn law enforcement position. Total bullshit
He wasnt in the academy dam.
God,I thought I talk alot... 😆
@@csmith9573 Same here..😉😼
@@cherry-or2rk me too, all 4 years
“I am de sheriff” with the thickest middle eastern accent.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"None of these guys has ever acted like an officer" says the guy wearing a Sheriff reflective vest and a deputy sheriff hat. lol
Right
Thanks for pointing that out....Priceless!!!!!
17 years
17 years is around 35,000 volunteer hours.
Sheriff Deputy hats has been on going for a long time, I seen them on crossing guards during Sheriff Beary and Deming Administration. Got to love seeing crossing guards wearing Sheriff Class 3 Vests in Central Florida.
Aaaaaand.... 8:00 "my officers"
I love how they are talking down about the “rookie”. They would all cream their pants if they got a shot at being a rookie. Bunch of poser wanna bes
SanSabath That’s for sure n
Lol 🤣 🤣 my thoughts exactly
SanSabath I think you hit the nail perfectly on the head with those guys. 😂🔨
SanSabath all of those guys want SO badly to be a cop but for whatever reason couldn’t make the grade...these guys creep me out. Not because they failed to become cops, but because they can’t seem to let go and go on with life. They would rather play at being a pretend officer of the law than being a real anything else.
I was thinking these cops are cutting them a break and the first thing they do is start bagging on the officer?
Shockingly stupid. The dumbass with the body cam cocked his own goose there at the end. He will never get a warning in Osceola County ever again.
The whole Metro-State "Department" is the reason why we have instructions (and warning labels) on shampoo bottles.
or we have cautions on coffee cups that say, "Beverage may be hot. Scalding hazard"
Jamal Labarge Nuclear reactor, radioactive.
Lol.
Ctfup
Can someone explain what is a Metro-State Department
Jeremey knows the Florida’s statue like the back of his hand because he’s been arrested for most of them.. 😂
“The sergeant said that the officers driving the motorcycles were being reckless”. Imagine that.
They learned from the master
Hey don’t attack all of us because we ride! We’re careful for the most part.
yeah.....tailgating , one handed wheelies , and river jumps are exempt.....STATE LAW look it up
Mister Deplorable well some yeah but not everyone! Or should I stereotype anyone in a big truck or a fast car or anyone who drives a van is a drunk driver. Yeah we can be assholes and at least if I see someone being unsafe on a public road a say something to them and they’re respectful. You cut me off and I’m the asshole and don’t bother giving a shit.
