Excellent review! I have the arctic Guile as well. Although his accessories are very much recolored and thrown together. I army build with him too. Blizzard is simply awesome! I'm with you, on the back pack features. I pretended one was a gun and the other s radio.

I loved Blizzard as a kid because of all his cool accessories and because he was an arctic figure as well. The look of his face always reminded me in Roger Moore as James Bond, so he was predistinated to play this role when I first saw the 007 movie "A view to a kill" as a kid in the late 80's and reenact parts of it with GI Joe figures. ua-cam.com/video/4Or3mVfXSXM/v-deo.html
I always like the detail you put into your reviews and I like arctic themed figures too. Even though I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf coast. Also the word your looking for on the shaped skis is "parabolic"

Kevin, I must apologize. I thought I had seen this review, just a mid-life moment, I guess. We had the same idea about army building with him. I picked one up in a vintage toy store, for around $9. I have the street fighter version as well. I never really treated that line as GI Joe, KB Toys practically had to give them away. I bought a bunch on the cheap, for $1.99. Back in the mid 90s. I used them for parts, and to barter with.

His helmet could have been great if not for the sides
