Glad to see you posting again and so sorry to see all of the septic issues that popped up but as you said Silver Lining is get it fixed now before you have flooding in your home
Before you commit to a new field, you might try digging up the outlet line to the junction boxes. You can take the lids off the junction boxes for inspection and see how far the sludge went. Assuming you have multiple lines in your field you might not have to replace all of them. You can dig them out by hand. If the sludge has not gotten very far into the field lines, you can try cleaning them out. The solids to tend to settle. Obviously you have been living on the system for several years so most of the field may be salvageable.
Oops. That’s a bummer. We got a couple of bids on a new septic system. We are developing bare land in North Idaho. We were quoted $13,500 on one bid and the other was $15,000. We are getting one more bid I’m guessing that will be close to the other two. Any work is just so expensive anymore. Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :)
@@TheGrassfedHomestead Three Bears Contracting out of Kendrick bid $12,000 Black Diamond Excavating out of St. Maries bid $13,500 Carbaugh Contracting out of Fernwood bid $9000 These are for whole new systems. Of course all bids can change. These are just ballpark. We will have a better idea when the perk holes are done.
Hey Dan and Little Buddy👋! What a drag , good thing you cought it🫢. Oh No🫢Bad Ugh well at least you know now everything is solid 🎉. Hope to see you soon . JO JO IN VT 💞
It would be really great if you could upload a video for your channel at least once a month- even if it’s just a vlog with no rhyme or reason on your most boring of days with no structure or much editing lol.. you’d be surprised how that could be entertaining for people lol (twice would be even better). 😄 nevertheless glad to see you uploading again👍🏻

Absolutely!
We've had septic issues as well, I feel your pain. Glad your issue was discovered sooner rather than later.
Me, too. It could've been worse.
Glad to see a video! Sorry about your septic system. We need to catch up sometime!
Agreed!
Blessing in disguise except the financial aspect. Nice to see you creating content again.
Indeed!

Do you mind sharing the names of the contractors from whom you're getting bids?
