Or you can just stick a paper clip in the hole which resets the cartridge because when it says the cartridge is low on ink it’s actually still 60 percent full

@@jemandoondame2581same hole the ink comes out of. Should be the only hole in your ink cartridge, I hope! I haven’t tried this but I would like to on an old ink cartridge

@@rdx1419 no there is a reset button on some cartridges where the circuit is located, often the memory is inaccurate so resetting may get more ink out of it

My opinion of this video is completely opposite. They don't explain what they were doing when lighting that black thing and sticking it in the hole, or what that black thing even was. However, I really like that kind of music. The video could have been more informative about what they were doing though.

First of all, don't do this, it will kill the your printhead, since not only it is too viscous , but the stamp ink is quite adhesive(i believe it has something to do with partial polymeristion of theirs components or some shit) and hard to dissolve(aka the print head will be 100% dead once they dry in the nosle, and believe me it will dry fast)
I agree with you. Why not just use refill ink specifically for printers? The price is also very cheap, able to refill the cartridge for several times and most importantly there is no risk of damaging the cartridge.

@@ll0lllo493 Bro, i am advising against refiling your printer with stamp ink, not against refilling it at all. It's not like stamp ink is that much cheaper, cheap printer ink is like 30-40$ a liter, cheap stamp ink is like 25-35$ a liter.

Doesn't work for all printers, but in this case the tape that they used made the cartridge look unused.

I actually have refilled Epson ink to similar hp printer and it worked fine. Now I am trying to see if some sort of colorant bottles like " Mido Colorant" will work or not.
I'm sure this is a great hack and all, but I'm not going to sit through that shit music instead of watching a video where someone talks to you like you're an actual human.

The green and yellow tape blocked the air vent, otherwise looks ok, but does not show what blue, yellow and magenta inks to use.

Lol the printer you took it out of isnt the same printer you put it in.
Maybe youll get a few prints like that but theres a small chance itll keep printing.. not because of the refill but because you tapped all air passages shut and its going to create vacuum inside as you print eventually keeping the ink from coming out the print head.
Those little squares at the edges of the original sticker are for air flow. You see the passage when you peel rhe sticker
Also, the hole undeer the sticker is already open.. what was the point of heating metal and pretending you opened it? Lol
I switched from one browser to the UA-cam app at the exact moment he was getting ready to install the refilled cartridge into the printer... by complete coincidence, of course
At first, I thought I had somehow switched to the next video because the printer I was seeing was strange, different, unfamiliar! It wasn't until a few seconds in that I realized that it wasn't my mistake, but the creator's.... that's also when i realized this guy is full of bologna

the ink is about as high as the cost of the printers nowdays cheapones that is ..so fig,,u wanna try it? i might but will wait and see if there is any other alternatives.

Can I use the ink from regular pen to be used by HB printer?
I think you mean "HP printer." Why would you do go to the trouble of extracting ink from a pen when you can by large bottles of printer ink for a very good price online?
@@xingyuzhou1891 because I have some pens that were in the attic and extracted a lot of ink already from heat. I just wanted to be environmentally friendly and don't throw them out
@@vakhbod100 Make sure that the pens in question have water-based ink. Ballpoint pens, such as hotel pens and Bic pens, use an oil-based ink. Gel inks are also not compatible.
Even for water-based inks, I would still be cautious. Most rollerball pens use waterproof inks that can ruin your expensive cartridge. Dust particles and such from dirty ink can also ruin the cartridge.
If you want to be environmentally friendly, you can simply toss pens in recycling.

I'm just got a vintage typewriter and ink ribbon looks good but need ink so I was wondering how to open one of them inks cause I have like 6 so I can sponge paint the ribbon and reink it- Thank for the video helped serve more purpose than just that one-

He's just showing you to use "stamp pad ink" instead of going out a spending $15 dollars on a new cartridge. You don't need the stamp pad, just buy STAMP PAD INK.

don't do this! as a former hp techie, i can tell you that carts ink is alcohol based. you do this and your ink will smear at printout. if not itll probably leak all over printer( multi 100 dollar repair bill will follow).

i have been working in this industry for many years and i have to go with Toby Schmoll on this one, its better to just replace the catridge, or your printer could get damaged which will cost you more, its like putting cheap gas in your car and then you end up replacing the engine, that just doesnt make sense, most times its just that your nozzles are blocked, just take out the catridge and clean the nozzle using a drop of water on cotton buds and wipe gently then shake the catridge and put it back in to the printer

You can disable cartridge "protection" on most printers. I use HP printers, and they have a built-in option.

30 USD? No! Printer Ink in a bottle costs like 2-3 USD for 200ml which will last forever in a private household.
But theres a chip in the cartrage that has a timer that wont let you print anyways....

gloria olivo North Korea or South? I heard the North Koreans make ink from political prisoners, which should not be ok there. I also heard those NK prison-produced inks run out 3x more prints & the print colors stay bright much longer than equiv nonhuman pigments plus cost maybe 1/10 the price of politically correct grain.
