Hi everyone! Hope you enjoyed our Fraser Island trip as much as we did! 😁 A lot has happened since we left K’gari! Our next video will give you an update and discuss our thoughts after 5 months on the road, budget, setup upgrades etc. If there are any questions you might have drop them down below and we will do our best to address them in the next video! 🤙🏼
Thanks Jason! If you haven’t been before I hope you could get some info out of these vids! Time flies mate and the big red man isn’t far from coming down the chimney! where has that time gone! 😮
I must say bloody well done to you both! Your content & editing are spot on! Really enjoying the channel since I stumbled upon it a little while ago! Been 36 years since I last went to Fraser as a sprightly 15 year old! Can’t wait to get the Mrs & daughters up there! Keep the fantastic work coming! Safe travels!
Thanks Mark, we are really trying to up the production and make the videos the best we can so it means a lot to hear that. It has been a long time between drinks mate! They family will love it, a truly beautiful part of our country and one that really exceeded our expectations. Appreciate you tuning in and taking the time to leave a comment. Cheers 😁
Wow some incredible footage and adventures in this episode, loved it. And the dingo on the Eli Creek boardwalk!!??!! When I was at Eli Creek there were literally hundreds of cars (stupidly went at school holidays time), will definitely go back. Did you get to Central Station? So beautiful, probably my fave place on K’gari. Is it really only 5 months of travel? Feels like longer, and look at what adventures you’ve already had (The Cape!!). 😊😊😊😊
Thanks Robyn! Our new drone is amazing 👌🏼 I know right! It was following this family of 4 down the boardwalk and I snapped it on its way back. They are kinda scary when it comes to kids. We missed central station! We were going to visit on our way back to the barge but time got away. K’gari is the best, even better out of school hol time 😅 We can’t wait to get back either 🙌🏼
Honestly depends what you want to do. If you can’t sit still like us and want to do heaps of driving around and exploring, you just can’t beat the swag. If you want to post up on the Eastern beach for a week and just chill with all the luxuries a caravan has to offer that is fine too! Keep in mind, depending on the size of your van, you really can’t take it past Indian Head and there are a lot of great camps north of that headland.

Caravan vs no caravan on Fraser. We are going next year deciding wether to take the van or beach camp

We paid $3.55/l a fortnight ago 😢
Oh goodness that is painful 😨
