Review: Talstar P Insecticide

- This is a review of Talstar P which is a general insecticide. It can be applied indoors or outdoors and works great. I forgot to mention that it can also be applied to fire ants. I apologize for the application part of the video. I used my GoPro and didn't have the settings right. I will be posting a video of the products I use for mosquitoes and other flying insects as well. Great video. Very informative and useful. I appreciate you taking time to review this product for us. I just used it for the first time today because I found 3 wood spiders inside. They scared me and were the size of a golf ball in diameter. I hope it works.
Gotta hit those bushes too! I spray the whole yard with it, as well as the trees around perimeter. Also under eaves. Good stuff!

Incorrect. Talstar does not get spread to the nest and shared. It's a residual insecticide that insects walk through, and it penetrates their exoskeleton, and it enters their nervous system, shutting down their organs after they're paralyzed. It can take several hours to kill insects with it when it's dry.
It also does not last 90 days. I've used it for 15 years with my own pest control company.
It's a repellent pyrethroid insecticide. It's derived from the chrysanthemum flower. In Vegas, it lasts for 60 days indoors, 30 days outside. This is in temps under 90 degrees. I use something else in the summer, 115 degrees.
I've read reports that it is known to be a POSSIBLE CARCINOGEN, so wear sleeves and gloves, dude.
Homeowners get too careless with nerve agents.
Thanks for sharing. It seems like one of those things where opinions vary about it. After speaking with two local exterminator companies, I got different information. I also spoke with Talstar distributor and got different information. Not saying anyone is right or wrong here. Just seems that the duration varies maybe by location. In my area, a major exterminator chain sprays it for mosquitoes outside every 60 days. Another company said they do it every 60-90 depending on the conditions. A third company I spoke with wanted to fog every month. The manufacturer said it can last up to 90 days outside. I guess it just depends on factors like how it is applied and conditions. I appreciate you watching and thank you for the comments. Always good to have others thoughts and opinions on subjects to provide more information for everyone.

I also emailed customer service and they said while not recommended, it is water based and will not harm people if it comes in contact with skin. Just need to wash thoroughly if it does.
Every 2 minutes or so u agitate the water in your pack ,.. it settles very quickly ..good video
