its INFURIATING how ignorant people are how piper is played, complaint you always see are 'the spin is clunky, she has no energy' when they fail to realize you dont have to finish her spin, dodge to cancel and counter is slept on.
Nah, finishing her ex special does way more anomaly application than spinning. Idk why people keep spreading oh spinning is great, it really isnt. Only necessary to spin for lucy m6 and stacking up the passive. But other than that spaming the ex finisher is always better
The only reason you should be spinning is to keep passive uptime, which isnt even a big struggle if you dont have m6. The ex finisher has better anomaly application to energy spent, however if her energy isnt managed she will end up losing all stacks.
Please can you show the footage? This means you are not all 'uptime' with Jane or Piper. This is tested and if you non-stop attack with Jane and Piper, Burnice won't make it in time without Signature or discs to have enough energy Not every stage gives you free energy or you may talk about 1 cycle when you clear stage fast.
@@Michu_ZZZ for me, my Burnice is using only 2pc swing jazz for energy sources, but disks are the typical AP/DMG%/AM main stats, while I tested it with a level 30 gemini (changed from signature for the test) My playstyle is a quickswap of Burnice/Piper using defensive assist with the goal of generating decibels as fast as possible. For the first stage of Shiyu 7, the mob wave is bad for me because I haven't leveled up the skills to raw damage the Mandrake, but for the boss itself, I can use 2 Burnice's ult before it died to save up energy for whenever I parried with defensive assists, one after the mob wave and one around when the boss gets stunned. Clear time being around 1:30 which could definitely be better with better dodges on piper
@@joverifico My Burnice build is the same as in the video and no regrets. 3:50 May be overkill for stages where you gain free energy but for other stages never a problem with energy and only 3-4% damage loss from Burnice. Piper or Jane or Grace is the main DPS anyway
I agree on the 2pc Swing Jazz for Burnice. Noticeably comfier to play. Btw just curious, for this team how do you build your Lucy? What main stat do you use on slot 4 and slot 6?

probably right when the bar changes the minimal required amount for starting Ex Special from 60 to 20. Or when Lucy start dropping M6 Boars, but they are hitting later than bar changes
@@TheShinnika well that too, but imho you can track your energy looking at bar, while in downright corner there is no useful info besides burst which also have indicator in upleft corner
For me, it's more like by 'feel', after some practice I think should get used. Occasionally I do too fast or too slow but no need to be perfect. Unless you challenge or speedrun. Looking at a bar or count is too much for me

Also, this is M5 piper. M4 give sort of give energy back to piper. Its different for M0 piper

Although dodging is my problem atm, plenty of DPS, but the agents get slapped especially with enemies that move around a lot
