This goal should not have counted. Now the goal that the rangers scored late in the first game, when one of our guys accidentally ran into Pittsburgh's goalie should have counted because it was an ACCIDENT,not intentional, but the refs are so currupt they did what they do so often to the Rangers 🤦🏿♂️
Pretty sure they said they didn’t have the enough proof to say it wasn’t a good goal so it stands. Back in the day without these POV’s it would have been counted. Doesn’t matter though cause Pens still lost in the end.
When the Rangers player ran into the goaltender in game one wasn't only an accident. The Pittsburgh player shoved the Rangers player into his own goaltender. That goal should definitely have counted and the Rangers would have won in regulation time. Instead they overturned the goal and the Rangers lost in triple overtime. Terrible officiating by the refs.
thats just karma to fairly even the score, this was never a goal, textbook high stick. The fact that the refs reviewed this and STILL ruled it a goal is a crime. those refs should NEVER ref another NHL game again. laughable.
100% that was clearly goaltender interference but they were so focused on the high stick. BTW it was definitely a high stick yet Pittsburgh complains about the helmet call. They ultimately lost because they're a bunch of cry babies.
I'm not sure if he should take up soccer or baseball after watching this

That was a high stick for sure
If panarin made that goal they’d reverse it right then and there calling it high stick. But it’s the penguins. leagues gotta wipe their ass 10 fold
I’m still trying to understand is a player allowed to wack the goalie on the wrist.
Why have replay in any sport if you are just going to use it to defend really bad officiating.
Sucks not even a minute later the pens scored on themselves

@@assasinofeire4776 there were replays that confirmed it was a high stick, you only need one, if this was the other way around it wouldn’t count

rangers should of challenged for goalie interference because guentzel made contact with shesterkin's glove!

@@rez6541 help me out!
if you lose a goaltender interference challenge , is it a 2 min penalty?
That’s what I’ve been saying since when are you allowed to wack the goalie on the wrist to prevent a block. I didn’t understand this at all.
@@jamessollazzo4860 I think any challenges lost is a 2 min penalty.
@@jamessollazzo4860 I don't believe any penalties are called
