I think we played pretty well today to be honest. Long way to go though. Love and respect to you guys from a baggies fan from west of Scotland 🏴. Left West Bromwich in 1988. On the coach trip back a man came round to do a collection for the driver and suddenly the driver braked and the man fell back. That was my granddad, thanks for helping him up👍👍😁 (next time maybe dont take as long at the end of the game though🤣)

Great video and coverage as always. I will say the “it’s showtime” tag line is over used a little. It’s a good tag but saying it 6/7 times takes the shine off it. Great video though as always.

I was going to be happy for a point before the game and like many the selection of the starting eleven was a bit bemusing. Erik Pieters and Kyle Bartley are easily better than Kipre who was giving me kittens every time he was in possession. I agree, we played well in patches but equally were ropey in patches. Lacking the killer touch once again in front of goal and it’s a shame Molumby didn’t manage to get his shot away. 1-2 was a fair result. Keep the faith.

Blackburn fan, class video from you guys, not the result and not rovers getting 3 points, just how much sense yous speak and the father and son thing, I love it, new subscriber now, also I have to say I predicted 3-0 before the game, when I saw that Kipre starting, he’s got so many mistakes in him and also no pace at all really, Ashanti is a powerful runner but no out and out pace, don’t be fooled by people saying we’ve no striker, Harry Leonard who scored the second is a class up and coming striker and he is ready,
Also when you said what a ball that was from the rovers lad Wharton, keep an eye out for him, certain to play for England in future

Nice video, lads! Great match except for 90 seconds. Actually it sounded like it could’ve been worse if not for the two late Rover misses. I listened to the match today and I have to say we played pretty well. Need to shore up the defense and of course, we need to score goals! Keep up hope! The WBA fans in the US have the lads backs! Thought we started brightly enough and then went into self destruct mode and gifted them 2 goals. Kipre had a mare, Townsend should have done better for the first but he was still the best defender on the day (not saying much!). Team selection was a surprise, it looked like Corberan had a plan to keep it tight for 60 mins then bring more creative nous (Swift/Mowatt).
Thought we'd have made more of the game once Phillips scored but the subs seemed to make us very unbalanced.
All in all a disappointing game but it's only the first game of a long season.
Anyway I'll see you on Saturday for the Swansea game.

As a Rovers fan, enjoyed your vlog. I do think you were on the wrong end of a couple of bad refereering decisions. But a long way to go, good luck for the rest of the season.

Hi lads, Rovers fan here. I think yesterday's game was (like many in this league) first goal wins. If I were a Baggie and you think your defense was poor, the 2 goalscorers were an 18yo and a young winger we sent to Aberdeen last to get some game time, as our 2 new forwards are injured.
With respect, I think your team is a bit one-dimensional and needs more creativity. Ours? Well we desperately need to replace the quality we have lost.

The first one was shoulder to shoulder but the second one was a pen for you. But we also should have had one
The "shoulder to shoulder" was more shoulder to middle of the back, (if it's outside the box we get a freekick but for some reason refs never give them as pens); Wallace was bundled over in the box then there was the handball. Agree you could have had one for Furlong's hand ball.
@@MrNeiltonoman if Wallace didn’t go down like a shack of potatoes you probably have got it but you should have had one pen but. Your defence let you down massively

My issue is how they’ll interpret the rules, new season & they will be told to referee to certain rules, give it 6 weeks & they’ll interpret those rules a completely different way!! All we as supporters ask for is consistency but it rarely happens!!
Blackburn fan here good video imo you didn't deserve to go in at the break 2nil down thought you was the better side first half but kipre and chalobah are awful defenders good luck for the rest of the season

The inept referee robbed Albion of three stonewall penalties. Thomas-Asante and Wallace brought down in the box plus a blatant handball. ITV said all three were penalties and was confused as to why the referee didn't award a single one of them. Final Score: Referee 2 - Albion 1

Welcome backs lads! As a Swansea fan, I enjoyed your videos last season. You were very magnanimous and generous towards us last season, especially when we won 3-2 at the Hawthorns. Hopefully it’ll be a good game this coming Saturday, we quickly sold out our 2,000 allocation too. Enjoy the season, except obviously against the swans 🦢
Matchday vlogs are back but not off to the best start. That young kid for them could’ve had a hatrick. Replays say it all for us at least 2 penalties maybe 3. First half Wallace got took out second half hand ball. Can’t change the past though just rubbish refs again. Going to stoke with my mate some of them might as well be put through the pain on Tuesday of being smashed by them.

I respectfully remind every single baggies fan that this vitually the same squad that FAILED last season, these players gave up towards the end of last season, so how in gods name ANY fans expected Corberan to make this big turd of a squad in pre-season to become Championship beaters and promotion hopefulls is totally beyond me, and all this crap of "its a long season"..get a bloody grip baggies fans this squad is League 1 in waiting..
As for Kipre & Chalabah's inclusion,..Corberan deliberately played them to incease their sale value,..think about it : if Corberan left them out of the squad their sale value would plummet, and given our "firefight" sale of ALL players for sale, Corberan can use the bargaining tactic of "they are our first team players" so Cardiff who want Kipre- and Kipre wants to join Cardiff..then WBA name their price!! And the same with Chalabah..
Why oh why any fans would expect this team to flourish after last season you all need to give your heads a very serious wobble..
As for "we support Corberan AND the players" these players love it because they can play shit all season knowing you will all forgive them and continue to support them...
