Really please by the statement the club has put out regarding Fellows basically saying that he's too important to us and not for sale. Wallace I'd be happy to see leave as he's not a starter and must be on decent wages. Luton and Pompey are apparently interested. Johnston having a medical as I type this so hopefully it'll be confirmed later today. (I've not been this excited by a loan player becoming permanent since Foster!) Looking forward to seeing what Styles and Racic bring to the team. I don't think we need a striker as such anymore as to compliment Maja, Dike is expected back around October and we have Grant and also Devante Cole as back up...Dobbin too I think. If we get Johnston in, I reckon the squad is actually stronger than last seasons.
Everton may be in for Fellows for 15 million but I hope he doesn't go, he's an exciting talent, and here's hoping Johnston signs again any striker will have quality either side with Tom n Mikey ...I'd just like to say how relived i am that we don't have to play against O'Shea 💯🤍💙✌️💯
Theres no start for Jed if we keep TF. Plus he dont fit the new style we intend playing. He was great breaking in counter attack, but weve moved on from that and intend controling games more.
Thing i fear for you guys is if your manager leaves and can see it happening with lub sacking managers under pressure are the ottom of the premiership and tbose who think they should be top of the championship, as with finance at your club as it is and well known, and im not on a out your transfer or dealing you have with the ELF but you have very limited funds as can only spend well you sell. I feel Carlos will go once a club of his ambition comes along
No point selling fellows for 11 mill cuz if we get promotion this season u can tripple that price tag look how much team get for there players and we settle for penny
The three teams mentioned interested in Fellows are all tipped for relegation from the Premiership so Fellows going there would be a backward step for him. We can keep him for another season or two. That still leaves 2 years on his contract and the chance for big bucks so not selling him yet makes a lot of sense.
Hate to see Jed go, but if we are serious about keeping Fellows he's in his way. If Johnstone comes in I'd be happy there, we have Cole as a back up if Maja gets injured and hopefully Dike on the mend. I don't think Keane is a good fit, he won't want to be a main striker at Preston just to become a bench warmer at the Albion at his age, I think he'd do better at Wrexham.
Wallace lost his form when he started to have to play down the middle. It killed him as he could not perform there. If he ain't on the right wing then there is no point in him playing and he is a back up in case Fellows gets injured.
Fellows won’t go. He knows we’ve got a project that has him in the centre of it. Wouldn’t go and waste his time on the bench in the premier league.
