A really strange cover of 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning'. : ) What's especially charming for me is that this joint single featuring a death pop band, was released to promote the 'Sakura Gakuin 2011 Nendo: Friends' album. Just think that's hilarious. IMO, their best cover song. Unlike any other BABYMETAL cover, it's been performed live over twenty times. Other than the two Judas Priest songs (Painkiller & Breaking the Law), I can't think of any other covers they've done that had live Kami Band accompaniment. And of course it has it's own MIKIKO designed choreography. One of the cutest. Lots of great Yui and Moa parts in this one. And boy can Su hold a note. Even when she was sixteen. And what can you say about 'Amore'? Pretty much a flawless combination of Su's vocals and electric guitars.

I think Jake Muller has explained nearly everything about the first song - it is the one cover (or response to another band's song) that they played live more than once or twice - I think they played it something like 25 times - and it is so good it deserved all those performances. I was waiting for your reaction to those notes Su was going to hit at the end - I wasn't disappointed. 'Amore' is possibly my favourite of Su's solos (they are all so good of course, so choosing one over the others isn't so easy) and that performance at Wembley Arena is my favourite performance of the song too. I'm a sucker for Su-metal vocals and those sustained high notes on "KTAGM" are... sorry, I've run out of adjectives :) "Amore" is another great song. As you noticed, the instrumentals are so powerful and technical with a fast tempo. And against all odds, Su's voice can cut through all that to sing those beautiful lyrics. For once, they gave her a solo song which is not involved into sadness or a recurrent nightmare.
"Amore" is definitely one of my top 3 favorite BABYMETAL songs and the intro always gives me chills! "KIMI TO ANIME GA MITAI" is my favorite of all the covers that BABYMETAL performs and I hope they one day make a song similar to it.🤘🦊🤘

Another unusual reaction, Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai is a "rare" song from BabyMetal and one of the less reacted, not only because it doesn't belong to any of their official album but also because is heavily blocked. This song is a bonus track from a single came out in 2012 to promote Sakura Gakuin 2011 Nendo Test, it was the first collaboration with a band and althou you can say is a cover from Kiba of Akiba (a death pop band who combined screamo and otaku culture), it works more like an answer or the point of view of a girl. How can anyone refuse to watch anime with our girls? lol The single came out with "Iine!" another must watch BM song, there's an official MV for you to enjoy. Also Kiba of Akiba did a BM cover of "Doki Doki Morning", the first BM song, a very different version if you want to check that out. This was another live performance at Budokan 2014 Black Night, remember, the girls had 14 and 16 years old. SuMetal shines with her vocals with this one, but also the dialogue between YuiMetal and MoaMetal is so much kawaii UwU. Amore is another SuMetal solo, that bass solo from BOH is really impressive, the Kami Band always melting faces with their perfect executions. It seems our queen finally found love or amore ❤️, the second time you said it is right. That clip was live at Wembley Arena 2016, that live concert is somehow bittersweet for the girls, they gave their all and if you see that show it was perfect and phenomenal for every fans eyes, but the girls finished the show crying hugging each other, probably they made mistakes only them would notice and you know japanese culture, they work so hard to be perfect in what they do, specially them. Could it of being tears of happiness and yes we did it . I was allways confused by them crying afterwards. When they did the we are BabyMetal the smiles and happiness in there eyes that beautiful shot of Moa's face with her eyes sparkling and huge smile as they ran across the stage getting loads of love from the fans. @@jakemuller8626 for as much as I saw, after 2015 lives are getting blocked. For Kimi to Anime never saw the need for watermarks or other stuff. That's why also Rondo or Akatsuki from budokan are always safe and without watermarks!
This is a great version of Amore. We get Su's wings symbol at the beginning which harkens back to her short time in "Karen Girl's", another Amuse Agency owned band. I think of Amore and Akatsuki as a pair,. They both have "crimson moon" references and mentions of keeping love alive even when the lovers are separated, but Amore is more optimistic than Akatsuki. I also like Su's dancing in this. I feel that Amore is one of BM's more straight ahead songs, at least musically. Up to the dramatic pause it's a power ballad without any bizarre time signature changes or massive transitions, it's just driving forward. The melody always resolves itself in an unsurprising but satisfying way. It's also almost as much about the guitar and bass solos as Su's singing so while Aoyama is driving everything with the drums we also get solos from BOH (bass tapping), Fujioka and Ohmura. It's a great "big hair" type song that reminds me of the 1980s in a good way.

I love that song and I always have to play those notes Su hits over a few times every time I listen to the song. Especially that last big one. That is another one of those songs I'd love to hear them sing now but it hasn't been done in a long time. I always like Su's dancing in Amore. It makes me laugh because it's both goofy as hell and weirdly elegant at the same time. :)

Amore is not usually reacted to, sadly, because it is one of my fav Babymetal songs, but not of a lot of people's. That bass section Boh plays, ugh, is so good. And how it transitions to guitars. And how good Su voice is... She is not singing about loving someone, she is singing about how it will be Love in a more christian/hippy sense that will save the humans. _Ai yo chikyuu o sukue!_ (Let love save the Earth!). So powerful. I think that's the love she is singing about also in Akatsuki, even if the usual translation we go with in the community portraits it as some kind of abstract romantic love. Great song Akatsuki too, an echo to X Japan's Kurenai.
Great reaction! A newer version of "kimi to anime ga mitai" would be nice, but without a 3 third singer i don´t think we got a chance. For me, the choreo of the song always looks like "babysitter/big sister watching tv with the sleepy 2 sisters Amore is just great. No more words required. You didn´t react to "Tamashii no Rufuran"? I´m sure you will like it too. Its "just" another cover song, but what a performance from Su.
When BABYMETAL covers your song, it is no longer your song. Yes, Kiba of Akiba originated Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai, but BABYMETAL absolutely owns it now. The same goes with Over The Future. Karen Girl's started it and then BABYMETAL came along and stole it. (See also: Chokotto Love, Love Machine, White Love, Tsubasa Wo Kudasai, and Tamashii no Rufuran) Amore (ah•mo•ray). is a great instrumental exhibition. But, you know, the vocals aren't too bad either. I think the Tokyo Dome 2016 performance is more impressive just because of the scale of it, and I will always prefer the Big Fox Festival 2017 performance because it was the first time I saw it as it was being broadcast - with thousands or BABYMETAL fans on a live stream. Big Fox Festival was a bittersweet show, and will always be special to me.

Whenever I see Amore video, I wonder what level of skills are required for instrumentalists and singer to perform this song. If I had not known BABYMETAL at all and someone had told me this was created by computer graphic, I might have believed it. I guess no one or only a few people ever thought that the BOH's solo part could be played by bass guitar, to begin with. (Should be keyboard ?) 'Amore' is possibly my favourite of Su's solos (they are all so good of course, so choosing one over the others isn't so easy) and that performance at Wembley Arena is my favourite performance of the song too.

"Amore" is another great song. As you noticed, the instrumentals are so powerful and technical with a fast tempo. And against all odds, Su's voice can cut through all that to sing those beautiful lyrics. For once, they gave her a solo song which is not involved into sadness or a recurrent nightmare.

Another unusual reaction, Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai is a "rare" song from BabyMetal and one of the less reacted, not only because it doesn't belong to any of their official album but also because is heavily blocked.
This song is a bonus track from a single came out in 2012 to promote Sakura Gakuin 2011 Nendo Test, it was the first collaboration with a band and althou you can say is a cover from Kiba of Akiba (a death pop band who combined screamo and otaku culture), it works more like an answer or the point of view of a girl. How can anyone refuse to watch anime with our girls? lol
The single came out with "Iine!" another must watch BM song, there's an official MV for you to enjoy. Also Kiba of Akiba did a BM cover of "Doki Doki Morning", the first BM song, a very different version if you want to check that out.
This was another live performance at Budokan 2014 Black Night, remember, the girls had 14 and 16 years old.
SuMetal shines with her vocals with this one, but also the dialogue between YuiMetal and MoaMetal is so much kawaii UwU.
Amore is another SuMetal solo, that bass solo from BOH is really impressive, the Kami Band always melting faces with their perfect executions. It seems our queen finally found love or amore ❤️, the second time you said it is right. That clip was live at Wembley Arena 2016, that live concert is somehow bittersweet for the girls, they gave their all and if you see that show it was perfect and phenomenal for every fans eyes, but the girls finished the show crying hugging each other, probably they made mistakes only them would notice and you know japanese culture, they work so hard to be perfect in what they do, specially them.

@@BlackArr0w Some reactors know how to curve that copyright blocked with some opacity or translucent effect and also putting another audio over the video, others reactors informed about the blocked issue too. I saw plenty reaction too but that was before Amuse or whatever started to heavily blocked a set of live performance, specially after 2014, but it'll be fine if they start to not get blocked those anymore 🦊🤘
@@jakemuller8626 for as much as I saw, after 2015 lives are getting blocked. For Kimi to Anime never saw the need for watermarks or other stuff. That's why also Rondo or Akatsuki from budokan are always safe and without watermarks!
SU-METAL in "AMORE" is a messenger of love. Her voice certainly reaches the universe.
This is a great version of Amore. We get Su's wings symbol at the beginning which harkens back to her short time in "Karen Girl's", another Amuse Agency owned band. I think of Amore and Akatsuki as a pair,. They both have "crimson moon" references and mentions of keeping love alive even when the lovers are separated, but Amore is more optimistic than Akatsuki. I also like Su's dancing in this. I feel that Amore is one of BM's more straight ahead songs, at least musically. Up to the dramatic pause it's a power ballad without any bizarre time signature changes or massive transitions, it's just driving forward. The melody always resolves itself in an unsurprising but satisfying way. It's also almost as much about the guitar and bass solos as Su's singing so while Aoyama is driving everything with the drums we also get solos from BOH (bass tapping), Fujioka and Ohmura. It's a great "big hair" type song that reminds me of the 1980s in a good way.

I love that song and I always have to play those notes Su hits over a few times every time I listen to the song. Especially that last big one. That is another one of those songs I'd love to hear them sing now but it hasn't been done in a long time.
I always like Su's dancing in Amore. It makes me laugh because it's both goofy as hell and weirdly elegant at the same time. :)

Q: Songs and singing must occupy a great part of both Su-metal and your disguise to avoid public notice.
Su: Yes.
Q: What does singing mean to 16 year-old Su-metal? I’m just curious if it’s possible for you to declare “Singing is my life” at 16.
Su: If someone took singing away from me, nothing would remain. So I can declare that. I wonder what if singing disappeared in me. Of course, as I’m in a position to sing songs now, I wonder like that in that meaning, though…Singing has been a healer for my soul since I was little and I love it. I was taking various lessons when I was a child. I took some of them on my own will, but none of them lasted long, probably a year or so. The short one would be three months. The only thing I could keep up was singing. In addition, I really hated dancing then.
Q: What? Really?
Su: Yes. I was trying my best at dancing I didn’t like, just for the passion for singing.
Q: You were thinking “Do anything for singing” at that time.
Su: There was a time I thought that way. Singing is the only thing I was able to continue who wasn’t able to continue anything. That’s why singing moves me and I’m grateful to it. In that meaning, I sometimes think singing is my calling*
Q: The first Babymetal album will be released finally. Do Babymetal and Su-metal become as important as singing for you?
Su: Very very important. I could find the music I didn’t know at all since I began Babymetal activities. I’ve learned a lot of things through singing them. All I knew was idol songs and ballades before. The world… I could go abroad thanks to Babymetal of course, and in a larger sense, I could feel “There’s something like this!” and “This is huge! Limitless!”, just thanks to Babymetal and another me, Su-metal. Lately, despite I’m supposed to be Su-metal and my disguise to avoid public notice, I feel like the two people actually exist, not like the two personalities are in my mind. I wonder myself, “Are those really done by the same person? What is it?” (laugh)

Su: There are many genres and I think Babymetal is one of them. And lyrics vary especially in metal. Even songs with scarce lyrics. Jackets of metal too. There are so many types of songs and I think those are meant to be felt by atmosphere and sense. I felt so when we had a talk with Trivium-san too. In addition, I think the impression of metal songs varies depending on people. That’s also attraction of metal, I guess.
Q: Su-metal seems to digest metal gradually.

Amore is not usually reacted to, sadly, because it is one of my fav Babymetal songs, but not of a lot of people's. That bass section Boh plays, ugh, is so good. And how it transitions to guitars. And how good Su voice is...
She is not singing about loving someone, she is singing about how it will be Love in a more christian/hippy sense that will save the humans. _Ai yo chikyuu o sukue!_ (Let love save the Earth!). So powerful.
I think that's the love she is singing about also in Akatsuki, even if the usual translation we go with in the community portraits it as some kind of abstract romantic love. Great song Akatsuki too, an echo to X Japan's Kurenai.

When BABYMETAL covers your song, it is no longer your song. Yes, Kiba of Akiba originated Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai, but BABYMETAL absolutely owns it now. The same goes with Over The Future. Karen Girl's started it and then BABYMETAL came along and stole it. (See also: Chokotto Love, Love Machine, White Love, Tsubasa Wo Kudasai, and Tamashii no Rufuran)
Amore (ah•mo•ray). is a great instrumental exhibition. But, you know, the vocals aren't too bad either. I think the Tokyo Dome 2016 performance is more impressive just because of the scale of it, and I will always prefer the Big Fox Festival 2017 performance because it was the first time I saw it as it was being broadcast - with thousands or BABYMETAL fans on a live stream. Big Fox Festival was a bittersweet show, and will always be special to me.

Whenever I see Amore video, I wonder what level of skills are required for instrumentalists and singer to perform this song. If I had not known BABYMETAL at all and someone had told me this was created by computer graphic, I might have believed it. I guess no one or only a few people ever thought that the BOH's solo part could be played by bass guitar, to begin with. (Should be keyboard ?) Talking about BOH's skill, you can find a good and new video in UA-cam with keywords "kari band u/yeah!!". You will see BOH's usual performance there (not as a Kami but as a fusion musician)
