Great react again Beauty and great election. Akatsuki is simply amazing. Papaya is very funny. You need watch Awadama fever live or Iine (iine) live, 3 differents styles un 1 song. See you in the next, Megitsune 🤟🏻🦊🔥🔥🔥
perhaps my favorite fan video ever in UA-cam is that of a dad and his cute as button daughter, who was probably no older than 7 yrs old, whom he carried on his shoulder while watching a Babymetal concert in Paris in Feb 2020.. I suppose they were French and the great thing was the daughter was singing all the Japanese lyrica of Pa Pa Ya (!!!) And towards the end, during the last chorus the little girl can be seen just totally losing her shit while screaming at the top of her voice. It is hilarious and adorable at the same time. I do not know of any band (ever) who has this effect on its fans of extremely wide age gap. Old and young we all lose our minds at some point when watching Babymetal.
PA PA YA is one of my favorites in my workouts, the energy of the song is immense and just listening to it makes you sweat🤣 Excited for the guide, no matter how long it is, it's worth it 🦊🤘
Excellent reactions again. The Budokan performance of 'Akatsuki' was in March 2014 - Su had her 16th birthday in December 2013, less than 3 months before - even at that young age (and even before) when is on stage she is in charge. There is another version of 'Akatsuki' from her birthday show Legend 1997 in December 2013 which is very different. It is just Su-metal with piano and strings, no Kami Band - look for 'Akatsuki' Unfinished version. 'PA PA YA' is a song about a spicy green papaya fruit salad ... but it is also a summer festival song. On top of all that it is about life and how adding and mixing the right spices can make that better and more tasty as well. F Hero is a rapper from Thailand, he was rapping - in Thai - to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle. This was the second night in Yokohama, Japan at the start of their 2019 tour. F Hero flew in to Japan specially for those two shows. If you ever see them live remember to take a towel to swing round your head during this song - seeing everybody doing that makes Su and Moa very happy and we all want to make them happy.
Love your reactions to BABYMETAL! Your face is so happy and you comment on the exact things I noticed or liked when I first heard the songs. It is amazing that your points and pauses are the same for me. I have been following them since 2011 when I found them accidentally looking for something else. Keep listening and posting. You will enjoy every song.
Great reaction and nice choices. "Shine" -- You can hear the beautiful high tone voice of Su. "BxMxC"---This is Exciting song. Please enjoy more BABYMETAL.
Nice reaction. When the Kamiband was added in they asked if they should turn it down so the teenager could sing over it. They were told NO, Su doesn't need it. She really can cut right through it all. Her angelic voice has such power it makes her stand out from other singers. You really get to hear that with these two songs. In Akatsuki you get the softer emotions at the beginning and power. In Pa Pa Ya we the energy blast and the fun that Babymetal can deliver like few others. Moa said they enjoyed seeing the towels wave during this song and wanted to see more of that. If you ever get to see them, live remember to wave that towel. IMO just listening to Babymetal you can lose weight. Cause you just can't sit still while doing so. It's even harder to drive at a lower speed. See You.
Effortlessly is definitely a word that comes to mind when seeing Babymetal, especially Su-metal perform. It's raw talent and hard work, but their is something to her way of working: She feels the music. She makes it her song, I think that is why it looks the way it looks. The (translated) interviews with the choreographer Babymetal works with are some of the most interesting and she said something similar, she was asked her first impressions of Suzuka/Su-metal: Mikiko: As soon as music is on, she would start dancing at 120% capacity with 120% focus. She’s got this innate intuition. I’ve never seen such a person. She doesn’t dance like ordinary Japanese dancers, and I’m saying it in a good sense. Interviewer: She doesn’t dance like ordinary Japanese dancers? Mikiko: No, she doesn’t lol She would be a great performer in the future, surely I thought. She’s got her intuition to learn choreography. She doesn’t memorize choreography by counting the beat. Instead, she memorizes choreography by hearing the music. In general, people learn choreography by counting rhythms but she doesn’t. She’s got this groove in her body, like nothing I’ve seen before. And this groove comes from her intuition. Interviewer: From her intuition? Mikiko: Absolutely. I don’t think Suzuka understands that herself. I would often ask her, “Why did you do that?” She would answer, “Why? Why, I don’t know.” Or, she would say, “Did I do that?” After a show, I would often tell her, “What you did at that part of the song, that was very good.” She would answer, “What? What did I do? I don’t remember.” I’m like, “Wow, this girl… she is in a way extraordinary.” I would love you to see our rehearsals sometime. Then you will know… that crazy Suzuka lol [..] she never tries to dance like someone. Once music is on, she is someone.
Reminds me of the Sakura Gakuin dance recital in 2010 which became known as "white T shirt guy " . Su was in her own world , showing a crazy amount of energy . Probably not technically on point but just loaded with charisma .
Great reaction! Akatsuki is a very very difficult song to sing. It has such a huge range for the vocals, from a real low tone to a high pitch. Papaya is just a joy and fun to listen and watch, and damn, SU and Moa are always smiling. They perform and have fun at the same time ;)
1) These girls are in incredible shape to keep that energy level dancing and singing through a 90 minute performance. 2) If you think BabyMetal is in great shape you should see the girls that are rickshaw drivers in Tokyo. One girl had a six foot, 200 pound man in her rickshaw and she ran most of the way in a three mile trip through traffic to get him to his destination. Check the YT videos on the rickshaw drivers.
_Kono karada ga horobiru made_ _Inochi ga kieru made mamori tsuzukete yuku_ 🦊🤘❤️ Our queen stealing our hearts, and then bring back full of joy and papaya 😁🤘
Excellent reaction! In regard to Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal), and as you noted, her powerful, clear ("clean") vocals, they are exactly why Kobametal (Kei Kobayashi - creator & producer of BABYMETAL) selected Suzuka as the vocalist to build around when he heard her sing at just 10 or 11 years old. Looking forward to more BABYMETAL!! Arigatou! 🦊🤘 #notacult
Another great reaction! Enjoying your double reactions to Babymetal and Band-Maid every week. There's an earlier, acoustic version of Akatsuki out there somewhere which is very moving. Pa-pa-ya is also definitely the best Metal song ever about tropical fruit! 🦊🤘🤘🦊
I own the blu-ray copy of these two amazing concerts. BABYMETAL is my favorite Japanese metal band. All the singers and musicians are super talented. I recommend No Rain No Rainbow and Rondo Of Nighmare Showcasing SU-METAL's amazing vocal skills and performance.
⚡ / 🔴 🌙 - ⚡ 💕 / 🌶 🌞 That's a nice range of performances. Su went from 16 years old at that Budokan Black Night show in early March of 2014, to 21 at Yokohama Arena in late June of 2019. The supporting dancer in the 'PA PA YA!!' footage was 14 year old Kano Fujihira. Like Su and Moa before her, Kano was Sakura Gakuin President during her last year in that group. So that was three Sakura Gakuin Presidents on stage together.
It is a shame there isn't an official video for Oh Majinai, i think you would love it, and if you would like to hear a metal song about some incredible female pilots of WW2 you shold try Sabaton - Nightwiches, either live or animated story video (the lead singer from Sabaton is featured on Oh Majinai), Sabaton also have a great song fro WW1 about a French battle called Fields of Verdun.
6:00 You see su's pinky swear. Pinky swear means promise in Japan.Su sing "kiretemo kannziteiru kizuna wo."It means "Red string cuted. But I feel binding you and me." In Japan people says " Lovers in Destiny bind by red strings".So pinky swear means Love Destiny.
One of my favourite BabyMetal songs and i have a lot . Su puts so much passion into Akatsuki while looking like Draculas little sister and Pa Pa Ya is definitely gets the crowd going swinging there towels . Them flames are no joke at Brixton Academy in London i was stood next to one getting slightly singed 🔥🔥🔥🔥😱
Formidable et Merci du japon 有り難う💛。 (1) On Feb.19 last year, Akatsuki became a special song again for BM fans. This song had not been performed for 2 years and 4 months, but they revived it that day on a similar center stage. I witnessed it at Budokan, the same legendary arena in this video. It was too surprising and too mesmerizing to recall. There is one certain thing, however. I felt celestial bliss there, especially with Su's matured rich voice. (2) This PaPaYa is an MV of live footage coupled with studio sound. F. Hero came all the way to Japan from Thai for the world premiere of this song and he had been very nervous to perform at a huge arena in foreign country. At the actual venue, Su-Metal shouted "Come on F. Hero!" to summon him. And at the end of this song she screamed "Thank you F. Hero!" then the three girls bowed deeply towards him to show their respect. That scene makes me happy.
Outstanding reactions (again), thanks! "Akatsuki" or "紅月 - ア カ ツ キ" is actually the contraction of "akai + tsuki" (meaning "red moon" or more specifically, crimson moon) and is clearly a tribute to the song "Kurenai" by X-Japan. The kanji "紅" can be also read as "kurenai" and means "crimson red" (all credits to Du-Metal). I really love this song. Actually, Akatsuki is my favorite song of all time. And this performance is top for many, many reasons. I'm totally into power metal and double kick bass drumming, also love the guitar duels and harmonizing solos. And of course, there is the incredibly clear and powerful vocals of Su... she really nails it! Yes, Su-metal has an incredibly good diction and she's so eloquent (apparently she's able to speak non stop hehehe...). But behind that, there is a lot of effort and training. And it's even more impressive when you know she was only 16 at the time they performed at the Budokan in March 2014. "PA PA YA!" is a really enjoyable summer festival song and t never fails to put me in a good mood :) Until next time!
Yes, it's his voice, but a bit embellished for the studio album. The MV you watched doesn't have live audio, but it's the studio audio over a live performance. Babymetal have done this a bunch of times on their channel, I think because it's quicker to release ? Their was a video on UA-cam from the real concert: BABYMETAL - PA PA YA!! (Feat. F.HERO) [Live Compilation] [SUBTITLED] [HQ] It was the first time this song was performed (well, OK, second night, they had 2 sold out shows back to back). When you see him on the stage is when you hear his real voice. You might also enjoy this little video from Paris: Babymetal pa pa ya!! Live in paris With my kid A video which both shows the joy of a Babymetal live show, but also that they've been to France a bunch of times...
When you tried to pronounce "effortlessly", it reminded me of interviews with BabyMetal when Su, the spokeswoman for the girls would talk in English. She would put so much effort into saying the words correctly. This topic is discussed in the guide you'll be reacting to. Keep up the good work. You're doing great.
Lookin forward to the BM guide. You will love it! The u un Akatsuki is silent, so it's spoken Akat'ski. Love how you get into the foxhole, so keep it going! Best addiction you can probably have!
Excellent reactions as always. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻 I'm pretty sure that at least a couple of members of The One has explained the lore and circumstances around the songs, so my only comment is regarding the guide. This is the best of them, and most up to date. ua-cam.com/video/gDne0xwniTg/v-deo.html They are made by the same guy, and all awesome in their own way, but this one is clearly the superior.
Great reaction again! If you’d like, check out the unfinished version of “Akatsuki” from the Legend 1997 show. Su without the heavy guitars covered in blue light singing as if it is her last day. Just writing about it makes me already tear up :(. Looking forward to your next one!
Akatsuki @ Nippon Budokan:- This is one of 4 Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) solo songs. The other 3 are:- 1. "Amore" (Wembley Arena). 2. "No Rain No Rainbow" (Legend A Baptism XX). 3. "Rondo Of Nightmare with Mischief Of Gods" (Budokan Black Night). Su-Metal have a powerful voice to penetrate the heavy musical instrument and still sound so clear. You should listen to X Japan "Kurenai", a legendary band from Japan 🇯🇵 which Babymetal get a lot of their inspiration from. There is a slow version of Akatsuki, the Unfinished version perform at Legend 1997 Apocalypse concert same venue as Headbanger. Benitsuki -Akatsuki Information:- Kanji Title: 紅月-アカツキ. Romanji Title: Benitsuki -Akatsuki English Title : Crimson Moon -Dawn. Akatsuki-Benitsuki: Akatsuki- is the couping song from BABYMETAL's 3rd single Megitsune, by SU-METAL. Nippon Budokan (日本武道館, Nippon Budōkan), often shortened to simply Budokan, is an indoor arena located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Originally built for the inaugural Olympic judo competition in the 1964 Summer Olympics, its name translates as Martial Arts Hall in English. While its primary purpose is to host martial arts contests, the arena has gained additional fame as one of the world's most iconic musical performance venues. A number of famous rock music acts have played at Budokan. The Beatles were the first rock group to play there in a series of concerts held between June 30 and July 2, 1966. ABBA ended their last tour there. Their final show on March 27, 1980, was the last live concert ABBA performed together. Numerous acts have recorded live albums at Budokan, including Bryan Adams, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Cheap Trick, Dream Theater, Duran Duran, Kiss, Mr. Big, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Journey and Deep Purple. LYRICS OVERVIEW:- Crimson Moon Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love. Shining in the depths of the eyes, the moon is about to cry. Red tears overflow and dye the night sky. In the silence, the two damaged blades stand face to face. Our loneliness and our uneasiness slash even our hearts. Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love. In the passage of time, I keep my eyes shut. Even if the red thread flowing in my hand breaks, I still feel we are tied. In the silence, I hold the damaged blade face to face. My loneliness and my uneasiness, I slash, even my heart, now. Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears someday... Going over thousands nights, some love shall survive. So, until my body perishes, until my life disappears, I shall keep on cherishing this love. Dye crimson! Can't wait for you to react to the guide :D But be sure to do the 40+ minute version, not the Beginner's guide! Don't worry if it looks too long, we will gladly watch it again with you :)
As always, nice react! If I'm not mistaken, it's indeed F.Hero who does the deep Papaya parts. He's a famous (even more so now) Thai rapper, and his part is all in Thaiwanese. Papaya is a summer festival song. They sing about dancing, making noise, eating papaya and so on. I'm still recommending any song from (Black) Babymetal. "Sis. Anger" is my go to, but you have "G.J", "Onedari Daisakusen" and "Song 4". Maybe after the guide, you'll want to watch them ;) Keep it up! 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻 Fun fact: Moa says that Papaya is one of her favourite (if not the favourite) choreography.
This is a bit irrelevant, but from many fancams of their gigs around the world I have seen, the crowds in France was surprisingly so wild, so if one day you got the chance to see them there, I'm sure it'll be a blast.
AH, I thought that might be a french accent I was hearing. Really difficult for me to tell sometimes with speaking English and it probably not being the primary language.
Hey verdy i see you're enjoying babymetal a lot. So it would be awesome if you can react to greta van fleet to Thier song heat above is good You can also watch live version the vocals are amazing
I suggest that you use the links below From the Babymetal Reactor Resource ua-cam.com/video/q40VmTHSh4c/v-deo.html Going forward, if reactors want to keep reacting to the videos, I've come up with a solution that will make it possible to continue using the videos with logos that have already been tested against blocks. I've made a spreadsheet - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZYdthVAHYaOAYL6AuhVOHotQinMoPPFEuspqDMIIGD4/edit#gid=0 with links to both the logo videos and the non logo videos and are hosing them on a Russian social media site that won't remove them, and is out of the reach of the copyright trolls. There are a bit over 30 videos on there now, but I'll keep uploading more every day until they're all back up. I'll also be adding new videos that I'll test on an alt UA-cam account before adding to the spreadsheet. If you can't access the spreadsheet for whatever reason, here are direct links to both the non logo videos and the videos with logos: No logos - ok.ru/video/c6630874 With logos - ok.ru/video/c7184602 For reactors that want to put your own logo over the videos, here is a link to the logos I use that are already made transparent - drive.google.com/file/d/1JUVfJGp36xR2n1FHl7PzRIxXhA5P4VyW/viewor you can use whatever logo you'd like. You can download the videos, which I recommend since the site can be a bit laggy sometimes, from this free website - sovid.net/ I recommend using the "HD" option when downloading to keep the file size reasonably small. Although there are other videos on my channel there, only use the ones on the spreadsheet because some of the other non logo videos aren't UA-cam safe. Kitsunes UP!

It is a shame there isn't an official video for Oh Majinai, i think you would love it, and if you would like to hear a metal song about some incredible female pilots of WW2 you shold try Sabaton - Nightwiches, either live or animated story video (the lead singer from Sabaton is featured on Oh Majinai), Sabaton also have a great song fro WW1 about a French battle called Fields of Verdun.
excellent content VERDY-Metal, after you watch the Guide you will be in love with BABYMETAL and put up a poster of them on your wall.
6:00 You see su's pinky swear.
Pinky swear means promise in Japan.Su sing "kiretemo kannziteiru kizuna wo."It means "Red string cuted. But I feel binding you and me."
In Japan people says " Lovers in Destiny bind by red strings".So pinky swear means Love Destiny.
You are right about the pyro, I still remember the flames of Akatsuki at Wembley Arena 🙂
I could feel the heat right up in the balcony 😅
@@autohmae they where pretty spectacular at Wembley. Imagine Su the unburnt running though them 🔥🔥🔥🔥 🔥🔥
@@Grington300 down in the mosh pit for you next time 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😁🤘🦊🤘
@@martinmetal7481 reminds me of the video: BOH reflects BABYMETAL Yokohama Arena 2015 [ENG SUB]
good choice,good reaction of babymetal.
That scene makes me happy.
the queen
Pa Pa Ya is a work out just lookin at it
Outstanding reactions (again), thanks!
"PA PA YA!" is a really enjoyable summer festival song and t never fails to put me in a good mood :)
Until next time!
(Feat. F.HERO) [Live Compilation] [SUBTITLED] [HQ]
It was the first time this song was performed (well, OK, second night, they had 2 sold out shows back to back). When you see him on the stage is when you hear his real voice.
You might also enjoy this little video from Paris: Babymetal pa pa ya!! Live in paris With my kid
A video which both shows the joy of a Babymetal live show, but also that they've been to France a bunch of times...
Good reactions🤔👊🏽7:42 If she held this stare too long people would be vaporized.
Great reaction again! If you’d like, check out the unfinished version of “Akatsuki” from the Legend 1997 show. Su without the heavy guitars covered in blue light singing as if it is her last day. Just writing about it makes me already tear up :(. Looking forward to your next one!
Keep a box of Kleenex nearby 🤘
Akatsuki @ Nippon Budokan:-
This is one of 4 Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) solo songs. The other 3 are:-

LYRICS OVERVIEW:-
Crimson Moon
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears,
I shall keep on cherishing this love.
Shining in the depths of the eyes,
the moon is about to cry.
Red tears overflow
and dye the night sky.
In the silence,
the two damaged blades stand face to face.
Our loneliness and our uneasiness
slash even our hearts.
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears,
I shall keep on cherishing this love.
In the passage of time,
I keep my eyes shut.
Even if the red thread flowing in my hand breaks,
I still feel we are tied.
In the silence,
I hold the damaged blade face to face.
My loneliness and my uneasiness,
I slash, even my heart,
now.
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears someday...
Going over thousands nights,
some love shall survive.
So, until my body perishes,
until my life disappears,
I shall keep on cherishing this love.
Dye crimson! Dye bloody crimson!

Can't wait for you to react to the guide :D
But be sure to do the 40+ minute version, not the Beginner's guide! Don't worry if it looks too long, we will gladly watch it again with you :)
Definitely do “Akatsuki Unfinished” .. it’s just piano and Su Metals passionate performance
Agreed, it’s a very emotional take on Akatsuki.
Thanks for the reactions
Su is amazing ! Someone might ask can Yui and Moa dance to Akatsuki ? Yui and Moa's response , hold our chocolate !!! Nice reaction thank you .
The crazy thing is that F Hero is rapping in Thai. For most concerts he is pre-recorded - both video and audio
Maybe after the guide, you'll want to watch them ;)
Keep it up!
🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
Fun fact: Moa says that Papaya is one of her favourite (if not the favourite) choreography.
Wonderful reaction. BabyMetal = Fun
Made love for Babymetal🤘And D hero from Thailand
Got BARS!!
Babymetal is my new hype gym playlist
Req : black babymetal - onedari daisakusen, this song is just Yui and Moa, and this song is so fire 🔥

Babymetal singles chronology:-
"Elevator Girl": (2019), "Pa Pa Ya!!": (2019).
Background and release:-
"Pa Pa Ya!!" was released worldwide on June 28, 2019, just ahead of the band's performance at Yokohama Arena the same day. The song was also released as a bonus CD to the box set Metal Resistance Episode VII - Apocrypha: The Chosen Seven.
As Moametal states, "Pa Pa Ya!!" has a fun performance, and is the first of their songs to feature a rap section.
Composition:-
Similar to other Babymetal songs, "Pa Pa Ya!!" gathers influence from various genres while preserving the band's J-pop and electronic music. With its name referring to the papaya, "Pa Pa Ya!!" contains components of southern lands, Japanese festivals, and a chaotic tune, for a "hot upper tune" in the summer. The song is composed of an "infectuous synth line", "bouncy guitar riffs", and vocals repeatedly yelling "Pa pa ya", with the tune showcasing Su-metal and Moametal singing around each other in contrast to the chants and guitars. F.Hero raps a verse which provides elements of nu-metal, and applying "horror-esque synths" against the bubblegum chorus.

Most of the musicians are teachers, professors and authors of music and their instruments, you'd have to go some to match them.
see the video clips version of MEGITSUNE, HEADBANGER, KARATE, IINE. BXMXC, ELEVATOR GIRL, DA DA DANCE.

This is a bit irrelevant, but from many fancams of their gigs around the world I have seen, the crowds in France was surprisingly so wild, so if one day you got the chance to see them there, I'm sure it'll be a blast.

Hey verdy i see you're enjoying babymetal a lot.
So it would be awesome if you can react to greta van fleet to
Thier song heat above is good
You can also watch live version the vocals are amazing
Can you please do road of resistance babymetal
You should react to the 2021 live version of Arkadia, there's a lot of difference
I suggest that you use the links below
From the Babymetal Reactor Resource ua-cam.com/video/q40VmTHSh4c/v-deo.html
Going forward, if reactors want to keep reacting to the videos, I've come up with a solution that will make it possible to continue using the videos with logos that have already been tested against blocks.
I've made a spreadsheet - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZYdthVAHYaOAYL6AuhVOHotQinMoPPFEuspqDMIIGD4/edit#gid=0
with links to both the logo videos and the non logo videos and are hosing them on a Russian social media site that won't remove them, and is out of the reach of the copyright trolls. There are a bit over 30 videos on there now, but I'll keep uploading more every day until they're all back up. I'll also be adding new videos that I'll test on an alt UA-cam account before adding to the spreadsheet.
If you can't access the spreadsheet for whatever reason, here are direct links to both the non logo videos and the videos with logos:
No logos - ok.ru/video/c6630874
With logos - ok.ru/video/c7184602
For reactors that want to put your own logo over the videos, here is a link to the logos I use that are already made transparent - drive.google.com/file/d/1JUVfJGp36xR2n1FHl7PzRIxXhA5P4VyW/viewor you can use whatever logo you'd like.
