Yeah about your point of really feeling the improvement you make in this game when you have several savages and ultimates under your belt - I felt that. Was my first week 1 as well and it really almost felt like smooth sailing in comparison to when I began. I was honestly surprised and shocked. Baring a few hairpulling instances and being stuck for too long at one fight, but nobody is perfect right. It all really prepares you for the challenges this game throws at you. Super satisfying. Nothing is impossible or too challenging, everything can be learned relatively quickly and then it just feels like a homerun everytime. The gamers you meet at week 1 or the first few weeks really help a lot as well, especially at the more tougher enrages.
Hey Vit grats on the clears, I don't want to watch the whole vid at the moment so it doesn't add more pressure to me or stress since progging M1S in PF had me at my breaking point, got stuck, wasted a ton of time but in the end I managed to clear this past Tuesday with a group I met over the weekend in comms, it felt great and even had a great parse for my first time which is huge for me personally because it means my hard work learning my job and practicing and reading and asking questions is paying off. I'll start progging M2S tonight though I watched a guide already, normally I'd like to go in blind but M1S drained me mentally and I don't wanna go through to that for the next fights so it's fine.
m3s is the only one i've suffered in PF and man, you're not wrong about the overcomplication bit; feels like it's the whole fight they overcomplicate, with the ten different 'mostly similar' strats with tiny annoying tweaks to them for no reason; in my experience even the advertised strats are slightly wrong half the time. haha i'm glad i'm in a casual-ish static for this tier, because i feel like FRU is going to have a billion groups who go into it with expectations based on m1-4s and that's going to be a nightmare
39:30 I feel you there. I started playing in endwalker and didn't even know what savage was back then. Got dragged into it by some fc members and cleared all 5 ultimates after the last EW tier. And this tier felt so much easier with all this experience. Got an easy week 1 clear as well. Still a bit baffled though that there were no dps check at all. (And i am saying this as someone that doesn't have a 100% perfect rotation plus we even had several deaths and still didnt even see enrage)
Thanks man, not gonna lie although it can be frustrating at times there’s definitely a liberating feeling in going the way of PF for a tier, and being able to raid whenever compared to on a schedule for only a few hours a night…might have to follow in your footsteps next tier and PF it.
Hey Vit, good video I just have some points I would like to make. For the M3S Fuse position you only need to be there for the pop, otherwise you are free to do your positionals... no real need to make everyone else adjust for you. Also kinda funny how you praise the first "group" you found and did reclears with :) almost like having a static hehe, but yeah I get if you wanna be spontaneous on when to raid but that is really the only benefit I see for PF over a dedicated static. In terms of DPS I think savage shouldn't be tuned to people who are not gearing and don't execute their rotation up to a certain standard especially in W1, that's why you get more gear and then you can meet the DPS check but skipping mechanics on fights especially on a last fight on mostly crafted gear is really not up to the usual standard.
o/ began to prog only after week 1, still working on my M1s clear... 😅 didnt get much time to play but I gotta say that the fight is fun to tank, as my first savage tier ever, M1s does feel like a fair entry point
I keep joining enrage to clear parties for M1S and we just spend the entire time progging clones cause people just don't know it yet and are claiming that they do.
@@MB-em9ek I actually got a really competent party last night, but the servers across half of NA starting lagging really goddamn hard so half the party (including me) was unable to see half of the mechanics. Like Mouser was unseeable.
Oh man, M2S is walling me rn. I'm really only going to get one more chance to clear it this week on Monday but hooooly, Got one pull with enrage at .5% and never got close to that again. Tilted out my mind in PF with this one.
M1S in 3h? Really jealous. It took me all day in day 1, and the pf I finally cleared in, three of us hard carried the party dps while the other five grey parsed 0-11th percentile; we barely cleared as the last platforms in hard enrage fell. I'm just taking a break from savage entirely and going back to crafting to build my full i710 if I need to carry this hard. Need the gear for M3-4S, anyway.
I still havent finished the tier but what I can say is that this I believe this is the easiest raid in quite some time or ever, if you're in a static. Since it has been said that this tier is so easy all kinds of people are trying it in PF. Logs aren't everything but when two people in your PF have single digit parses after multiple kills in normal raid or havent completed the normal modes at all you're going to hit enrage. There is a lot of dead weight hoping to get carried through savage and it just doesnt work like that. PF has been brutal.
If you prog fast enough do you just happen to find the good people in PF? I cleared M1S and M2S week 1 but it was a strugglebus getting consistent players in M2S. I spent a whole week to clear M3S on Week 2 right before the reset. I spent another week attempting to clear M4S but didn't get it. I'm on Week 5, going into the weekend trying to find Midnight, then Sunrise, and now Clear parties and I keep getting stuck in phase1 trap groups. It's so frustrating.
@@ravynx yeah, it’s definitely better early on. I’ve been helping some people try to get clears lately and it’s rough out there now. More so than it was week one I’d say. People get filtered by the earlier fights at the start so the only people progging m4 were pretty solid
Listening to all the day 1 raiders complain about how easy the DPS check is and then constantly running into enrage coz your PF reclear party cant do basic mechanics correctly Honestly dont think I'd enjoy raiding if the check was any harder. Going into a fight and doing mechanics perfectly over and over again is only fun for so long without clearing
@@Lyu-Phy It's a great accomplishment to clear a whole tier week 1 (especially in pf) but keep in mind that week 1 savage are usually a bit harder mech/dps check wise (without even considering 2nd/3rd tier which are way harder than your usual first tier)
