- Rhipsalis cereuscula
Coral Cactus, Mistletoe Cactus
This shrubby cactus is perfect for indoor-growers! Its bright green stems are not pokey, but grow long and thin, spilling out over the edge of container gardens. The tips will turn reddish when touched with cold. Be careful where you place it indoors - too much sunlight can burn the leaves.

I wish you could do a B roll with closer look at the plant while you talk. ❤️
You can find images and information about each plant on her website.
Thank you for the feedback! I was trying to keep these simple to produce so we could do a lot this month. However, not including close ups was definitely an oversight.
And one we'll remedy in our next round of videos.
In the meantime, you can see a close up of the plants here:
www.succulentsandsunshine.com/types-of-succulents-plants/?.com&
You're videos are very informative but its annoying that you don't do close ups. I wanted to see the plants.
@@vivienaberasturi5562 thanks for the feedback. We're working on it 😀
Please don’t stop these videos next week! It’s become part of my morning routine 😊
Mine too!
A perfect cactus for FL humid climate that takes a little more water than other cacti!
I love that it trails a bit. Good to know also that it likes more water and less sun...
I have a small one I had leftover from an arrangement I gifted to someone. It’s never looked super great, but it’s still alive!
WOW ... Something totally new for me !!! Looking forward to incorporating one in an arrangement !!! BUT first I have to find one ... let the search begin !!! Thanks AGAIN !!!
We have links to purchase all the plants featured in the video description. And an affiliate link here:

I have had mine for 4 years and it’s about 20 inches long now, growing over the pot and onto and over tables. I’m wanting to propagate it and start giving them as little gifts. Love my plant💙
Indoors yay! And I love the little pot it’s in.
I just wanted to add something that has nothing to do with this succulent. I really appreciate how much time, love and effort you put into all these videos. It's a lot of work. Thank you for all you do, Cassidy. 😎😘
Thanks Don! I really appreciate it!
I am loving learning about these cactus. I don’t have any yet.
Mine lives on an East facing windowsill. It definitely likes to be watered thoroughly after drying out. Also, a pretty slow grower. :)
I don't have a Coral cactus but I have its brother "Drunkards Dream". I had DD in the sun and found that he didn't like that at all! I must get him a Coral to keep him company in the darker parts of the window.
I am not into cacti as much as other succulents, but this one is certainly beautiful! Thanks, Cassidy!
I plan on getting some of this Coral Cactus for an "Under the Sea" arrangement. Glad to learn more about it, thank you!
This is a new one to me...still loving this series!
Indoor! Fantastic!! Thanks very much, Cassidy...
Thanks for your video, it's very informative. I've been putting mine on full sun whenever it's sunny, no wonder it's shedding 😂
Yeah! Another new cactus on my wish list. Thank you!
I have this little guy and its growing super fast! It's been a great plant, easy to care for.
I have this lovely little plant. It’s inside in full Sun till about 3. It had grown a bit and looks so cute. I have it with a couple other succulents and it’s so cute
A new cactus.Must keep an eye out.
I have a couple of small pots indoors and so far they're doing well. Thank you for the info!
I was glad to find out the name of this cute lil guy. I have one and I am struggling to figure out how to make my succulents happy indoors. I live in Northern California. Happy to have found you on here to help me & my succulents!
Thanks! This is the video I have been waiting for. I plan to grow this in the master bath near the shower and it sounds perfect for that location.
I haven’t seen this beauty before, I love it! New addition to my ever-growing wishlist! 😅 Thank you 💚
This guy’s been on my list for a while! Thanks!
Another totally new one to me. Interesting plant! I’m hovering over my plants because I brought them outside for fresh air!
So informative! Late to the party after being out of the country but excited to go back and watch all of these!
A cactus that I don't need to be afraid of that can be grown indoors without crazy need for sun that I can water more often????? I feel like this is a match made in heaven! I need this!
I love these videos for the ones that can be grown indoors!
Oh that's nice. A cactus that won't bite!
Rather more interesting shape than the usual cactus we all know. I like that it can hang down from a basket which isn't normal for most cacti - I think.
It’s nice to know what cactus I do have! I buy them and just enjoy them! I really appreciate it when the common names are used, I don’t use the other names cause too hard to remember
Gosh, I just love this series - keep up the good work!!
Omg I need to get this cactus! I'm growing mainly indoors so I'm always on the lookout for one that does well indoors. The haworthias are nice but they all kind of look the same, so this is a welcome difference in texture and color!
I am now convinced to consider a cactus or two or three.
I LOVE Rhipsalis. It is super cute!
This is so cute! I went and looked at pics online and I love the way it bushes out.
This sounds like it's the cactus for me!! Definitely on my wish list now! 🌵
Mine always shoots out air roots because I water it like a regular cactus. It grows like a weed. Love it
The under the sea idea is perfect! 💚
I have this cute little guy outside! Thanks for the info, Cassidy, I'll bring it in for the winter.
Yay for indoor growers!
I’ve never seen this cactus before, but I really like the look of it! I’ll have to keep an eye out!
Loved this video, as usual!
Sounds like a great indoor plant!
Happy to hear of one that does well indoors. I am in zone 5 and other than in the few the hot months, I am limited to indoor growing.
I have a bookshelf near a window that I need some indoor plants for this is perfect!!! Oh I need the coral cactus - NJ is humid and I like to water!!! How perfect! Thank you for sharing!!
Looks like an easier succulent/ cactus to try. I will be looking for this one!
It really does look like coral! This would be perfect in an ocean themed bathroom or bedroom. 🐠🌊
Thank you again for the great information. 😀💕🌵
This is a beautiful cactus. Thank you for the video.
Adding this to my wish list.
Thanks, Cassidy. I have been looking for cactus to make an arrangement with my haworthiopsis. This one will work amazingly.
Love this and adding one more to my mix soon as I can. Thanks again for a great video
I’ve never wanted a cactus before but I’d love to try this one❤️🌵
My boss got a succulent pot with this in it. It was dying and I've been trying to save it (it was potted with succulents with completely different needs). I finally figured out what it was. It's gotten a lot better recently, but I had no idea it disliked direct sunlight!
Hopefully I can save it yet! Thanks for the information.
Good luck!! I'm glad the information was helpful!
I really love this family of cactus for its texture and growth. It’s a great companion plant for my succulents , filling in gaps very nicely with its contrasting skinny branches and also sucking up excess moisture. Living here in Texas , I’ve seem to have had issues with the humidity , but this jungle cactus has helped a lot (:
Ooh, I'm adding this one to my wishlist now!
Just bought this one! It was too cute to pass up
Great info- love these videos 😊
I've had this cactus for so long and never new it's name! Lol although it is very large!
The Coral Cactus is so cute! It would be fun to do an "underwater" type arrangement with this, Ripple Jade, and maybe an echeveria that is bright orange!
Another one for my wish list!😍
Yay! A succulent that likes humidity!!
Congratulations!!! You've won the succulent tool kit giveaway for this video! Please email me (info@succulentsandsunshine.com) with your address so we can get it shipped out to you. Thanks so much for watching and participating!
Please zoom in when showing each plant. Us newbies need a really good look. Thanks so much for all the info.
I am planning to do that for the next set 😊 In the meantime, you can see close ups here:

Thanks for the info! Awesome!
I love rhipsalis and want to start collecting them.
I wish I could send you a picture of my baby. It started as a 2 in wide 3 inch tall little thing. Now it is in a hanging pot 10 inches across full with new growth with thick branches I had to cut it back 2 times because it was hanging over the pot - which encouraged new growth. Then propagated the cuttings into the same pot. It is huge. It is 4 years old now. Cannot wait until it is older.
That's amazing!
Realize I haven't been doing well with my two Coral Cactus...they've been in too much sun outdoors and are brown & crisp, with a few new bright green pieces here and there.. Will bring them in & try to salvage. Yikes! Thanks for all the info Cassidy!
Another one on my wish list!
Thanks for the video!
I have been growing coral cactus for a few years, it does well for me indoors. However, it seems to stay small, maybe because I keep it in a small pot. Never thought of pairing it with others especially Haworthia which also does well for me indoors. Thanks for all the info and the great video.
It’s like bringing marine life into your home 🌊
Awww I definitely need this one! 😻
Wow! I might actually be able to grow this!
It’s so so cute😍
I have this plant and love them thank you
Love the new info! Thank you. This would be great for my sister living in Hong Kong (humid).
I would love to add this to my collection but would have to keep on my patio!
I have one of these and it is doing good. One cutting of it actually fell out of the pot I had it planted in for a couple days with no problems on growth once re planted!
Good information about sun exposure.
Found only as a graft in my area & I don’t like grafts.
Someday I might learn how to separate it.
Great video.
I'm sold on this succulent! I wanted a Rhipsalis and think I can provide the right growing conditions. I live in zone 6 in the northeastern part of the country so all my plants have to come indoors for the winter.
I can't wait to find one!!!
There's links to each succulent in the video descriptions if you're up for buying online 😉
I have one of these and was looking for a good ID for it! Mine loves the partial shade and water.
I have this and been wondering bout it. I have it in a pot on the porch and it keeps wanting to grow into the flower pot next to it r if it touches the ground it starts rooting so I guess it needs to be in a hanging planter. Thanks for all your help
Ooh! Never heard of this guy before. Reminds me of Jade but the care seems much easier. Added to the list!
Beautiful.
Thank you for your videos! Love your t shirt cute!
Thank you so much!
I got the shirt on Etsy. It is soooo soft and comfy! Here is an affiliate link:

They have other colors and styles too!
Very cutd. I might check this one out.
Another cactus I might try
Another one I've never seen or heard of...such a varied variety in the world of succulents. Not real interested in this one but there are many others I would like to find...
Ooh yay, one that likes humidity. I live in Hawaii and have problems getting soil to dry so I’ve been looking into succulents that can tolerate more humid climates.
I will have to get one of the these plants since they do so well in low light
I don't have this cactus right now but I do have its cousin, Rhipsalis baccifera (Mistetoe cactus).
This is 1 I still need!
The "Coral Cactus" is one I don't have and will need to add this to my "want" list. More like, I see it, I want it. :-)
I really love your videos on succulents & cactus. Just a suggestion...please focus your camera on the succulent or cactus for a moment, so for some of us who do not know the ID of the plant can identify it immediately. thank you.
Thank you for the feedback! I was trying to keep these simple to produce so we could do a lot this month. However, not including close ups was definitely an oversight.

Cute!
Never heard of this one. Since it is perfect for zone 10 should be ok in zone 9 where I live using a grow light indoor. Thanks for more important information.
