The video I saw before this was superbikes racing in the rain. I thought that was nuts. Then I watched these guys.
WOW. Scary.
How do they get the bikes off the run when one of them doesn't make it? Or the riders when they're injured, or even when they aren't? Two guys swing in on ropes occasionally, do they hoist or lower the riders or bikes?
So are there two races here? One to get to the top of the climb, and the other to beat your bike back to the starting line?

I'm not sure how well this is planned out. There is a big pile of brush near the top and at the top, a large stack of pallets that are right in the way.

No they can be fixed usually unless they take a really rough fall
Is the objective to have both arrive at the same time regardless

If your going to start off In high gear just ask if you can ghost ride your bike off the top. This would be much more fun to watch if they had a rule you must be attached to the bike with a leash.

Why don’t they give them a longer take off start. They can’t even get the RPM’s up to climb anywhere near the top. I like hill climbs but this just sucked.
