      Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it's great to go back and review. And it's generic enough that most RV owners (especially Airstream, obviously) can use it for information.

    I know its a lot of information at once, but I think he did a really great job on the walk around. Best of luck.

      Yeah, that's why I record it. I know I'm going to miss or forget something. At least now I can rewatch it later. :)

    Wow, he did a great walkthrough. Thank you for sharing. I have the 16' plan to be swapping out for the 22' for full-time.

    Awesome walk through. We learned so much from this video. I have had my Airstream for 2 years and never knew some of the features he covered. Thanks!

      Thanks. Yeah, I guess each walkthrough is different, depending on the person giving it. At least we can all share our experiences here and learn from each other.

    Thanks for the update. Wife and I have same criteria - only the 22FB fit the need. Moving to a Flying Cloud required more towing power and more dinero. We are retired so this has to be the right choice for us. We won't be upgrading for a long time if ever. We see and decide on the 22FB on the 10/11. Ready to get it in our drive and get on the road. Oh and the bath is perfect sized for dressing privacy when we bring grandkids with us. All in all, we are two excited young-at-hearts looking forward to an upgrade.

      The 22FB has been a good size for us. Plenty of room for two adults. With a third you start to feel cramped and with four you can't really move around much at all. Of course the 22FB isn't made to host four adults all weekend. :)

    Hey you two, thanks for the intensely interesting and informative 3 vids. This is the one my wife and I have decided on. Worked on pricing and trade in by email. Now we just need to go get our hands on it and pull the trigger (buy it) which may be 1-3 months. The walk through on this last vid is the most helpful. Hope you have been enjoying it. Keep us informed.

      We have been loving it. If I'm being honest, here are the cons: The cabinet slide-doors aren't as nice as the hinge-doors in the Flying Cloud, but the FC was a bit out of our price and weight range right now. 25 FC is our goal in about a decade. Also, the dinette table feels wobbly because it just has the single column support. The tables that attach to the wall are much more sturdy. We've decided we don't really need the table, so we keep it down with the cushions and use it as a lounge/couch, or bed of course if we have a third with us. I answered your other question, by the way.

    Bought my 2018 26u from AS Los Angles, Diane was a pleasure to work with. Congratulations on your AS.

      @HeAndSheRV  6 років тому +1

      Yes, Diane was great. She's friendly and knows the Airstream models. How do you like the 26U? What's your tow vehicle?

      Love the 26u. My TV is a 2013 Chevy 2500 HD diesel.

      @HeAndSheRV  6 років тому +1

      Awesome. When we upgrade to a 25+ in a decade or so, we're planning to do a Ram 2500, but we'll look at the market again at that time.

      Thank you. We like it a lot. We will probably get a 25 in a decade when we have more time to travel.

    The man that demo'ed your ;unit did an outstanding job. When we took delivery our guy pretty much gave us the 50 tour then the keys. We were very disappointed. Good luck with it and stay safe out there.DJ

      @HeAndSheRV  6 років тому +2

      Yes, he was great. Both times we've bought trailers the walkthroughs were great. I guess not every team has the same commitment. Best of luck and safety to you out there!

    good video. By the way, LP gas is heavier than air so that's why the detector is low. Not because it's "cold." :)

      Paul Vanderwiel, haha, you're right. I've had a few people want to see inside. Also funny that some people ask me if it's vintage even though it's current year. I guess they all look alike. :) Thank you.

    Keep us posted on how you outfit your AS and all your trips. Do you still have the Honda?

    • @HeAndSheRV
      @HeAndSheRV  7 років тому +4

      Yes, Honda Pilot AWD. Can currently tow 3500#, but we are adding a transmission cooler to allow it to tow 5000#.

    Is it possible to upgrade the propane tanks from 20 pounds to 30?

    • @HeAndSheRV
      @HeAndSheRV  5 років тому +1

      I never asked the dealer that question. To be fair, we never even ran out of one tank because we always used sites with electrical hookups. We only used gas to cook (sometimes) and heat the water for washing dishes. I'm afraid to give you the wrong information. If you need specifics, I would contact you nearby dealer to be sure. Good luck.

    Do your Honda a favor and buy a pickup.

    • @HeAndSheRV
      @HeAndSheRV  6 років тому +1

      Believe it or not, the Honda tows the 22 foot trailer fine. Even up hills. We will definitely get a pickup if we go larger in the future. Thanks for the tip!

      Good to here. I just bought my wife a new Pilot Turing, It's a beautiful SUV.

    • @HeAndSheRV
      @HeAndSheRV  6 років тому

      We loved our CRV, but we love the Pilot even more. It's pretty much the right size tow vehicle for us right now.
