Your explanation of the kings's indian setup is the one that makes the most sense to me. Not only do you show how to spot some of your opponent's attack variations, not only do you show possible ways to counter those moves, but you also explain the reasons for those choices. Thank you!
This thing of actually seeing the bigger context instead of worrying about losing pieces is something i need to work at, seeing these opportunities to turn a game in my favour.
I just want to say- I’ve subscribed to at least 10 chess accounts and your lessons are BY FAR the best. I wish I found this account sooner. Every single one of the others talks at a million miles per hour, shouting 50 moves in ten seconds. Your guides, on the other hand, are MUCH clearer and straightforward. Thank you so much. Superb channel. Subscribed! 👍🏻
As a 1,000 rated player I find it hard to play black in the queens gambit declined because of the space, so this is really helpful for good development and an easy way to not get an awkward position, thanks chesscaped!
@kusstyjitwax1029 My Excalibur King Arthur computer plays c4. I love that I can always count on my computer to stick to the game plan and carry out the playbook openings.
This is the first time I’ve watched a video of yours! I have to say that in this one video; I have learned more about theory for this position and common tactics and what to do! I can’t wait to check out more of your videos and learn the right way!
Dude I've watched everyone and this is one of the best, most concise explanations I've ever heard! I really like Daniel Naroditsky as well but even he can talk above my head and even talk above other grandmasters heads lol.
My fav KID video, instead if showing many lines he is teaching us the plans and waht to do after that. In my level,Averbakh is really popular, its not really averbakh ,cuz its Normal indian game without c4push. And after my c5 push idk how to continue, and qa5 tips is really useful. I also really like playing against Petrosian. It's really closed and pawn storm are really fun. And that knight sacrifice one is really entertaining
3:08 averbakh variatio, key point play qa5, then develop e6 d5 nc6 bd7 rc8 rd8 to break the center If white plays nf3: play e5 and exchange queens 6:26 Petrosian variation, play a5, Na6 to put pressure on the center, qe8 then bd7 to connect Queen and rook, nh7 and push f5 Other notes If you see your opponents furthest pawn is on Queen side, they’re more likely to attack that side
Great video! I really like this opening as it can be played on both sides. White can play this same opening starting with the Reti which transposes into the Kings Indian Attack
thank you ! i agree learning the kings indian setup works for both sides and also helps you if you dont have too much time learning openings. easier to remember as well. thats why i played it most of my carreer
Thank you brother!!! you are best in explaining👍 There is straight away something very motivational in your videos. Wish to see you play some rate climb with your brilliant explanation on Kings Indian.
I have watched this video several times. This very smart man knows too many variations for someone like me to remember. I'll try to memorize the first two or three variations of the Kings Indian defense. However, beyond the first few variations will be tough for 60 year old brain.
Love your channel I am rated 1600+ wanting to learn pieces of information from your channel hope you make more KID videos covering all variations if that's possible. Awesome voice btw ^^
been a fan of Amans chess brah and at tmes Gotham chess.....seeing your channel right now cuz of Kings Indian..liking it already...one downside is the pawn storm on kings side...scary.....
I have been enjoying your videos, they are great. What a great Chanel you have. I am trying to get better ratings. But seem to hit 1450 then plummet down . Thank you for all they you do for us out here. May Jesus bless your family. Amen
Hi, great explanation Sir! At 16:05 why not just move Nh3 with a discovered check on the king and also attacking the queen. U lose the knight but u gain the queen. Thx.
Maybe you should cover the dutch defense sometime, it has a similar to the king’s indian defense and since it starts like d4 f5, you do not need to move the knight to play f5 later on.
while the dutch can be a good opening with the right counter by theory I can see your point as moving the f pawn early is risky plus gambits like the staunton gambit (d4, f5, e5) is very aggresive and may be too much for players TLDR: dutch is a good opening if you can play it right but it can be risky due to an early f pawn push and aggresive gambits.
London system, queens gambit, and queens Indian hmmm… I see most people play the accelerated London all the time, like 😖 Maybe I should quit on playing their line and go for queens Indian more, because 60% of games, I’ve lost in both queens gambit and London.
11:36 the bishop is trapped?
oh yes 😅 g 5 and f4 traps the bishop! i was focused on showing you plans. You re totally right
Sir...I love ur videos...am transitioning to kid against d4...can u pls come up with more kid specific variations...thank u
@shoumyajit roy thank you my friend !
@@chessscape I noticed that one too. Coaches make slips up even Daniel Naroditsky and many other top GM's. thats undertstandable. ^^

anytime ❤ happy i could help my friend
main opening = queen gambit
as a 1000 rated player 0:59 no one plays c4
@@kusstyjitwax1029as a 1700 everybody plays c4

Your explanation of this openning is great! Please make more like this.
Wow nice job on this, subbed !
3:08 averbakh variatio, key point play qa5, then develop e6 d5 nc6 bd7 rc8 rd8 to break the center

Other notes
If you see your opponents furthest pawn is on Queen side, they’re more likely to attack that side
Very well explained, I’m surprised you’re not more popular
i started the channel in January posting more constantly and also did only shorts for 4 months (which was a mistake) 😀

I love London it really helps to attack quickly, and most of the time opponent blunders a lot...

I am beginner & video is very simple & easy to understand. ❤
Best video ever on kings Indian❤
Amazing video !!!
Love this video. The aggressive ideas in KID shown here have not been covered in any other video. These are great for faster time controls.
I love it... "learn this in 10 minutes".... length of video 22 minutes..😂
😅 when you said you don’t want him to play with the pawn and then you he might not take the thing he might take the night then it won’t be a fork
hey man I started playing 2 weeks ago and just picking up 1-2 openings has helped me win a couple games. Subbed!
I watched the video twice. I am so grateful it is more than 10 minutes. Thank you for your time

Excellent recap of the KID in just 20 mins, it is the best video I've seen on UA-cam about it. Thank you so much.
I have watched this video several times. This very smart man knows too many variations for someone like me to remember. I'll try to memorize the first two or three variations of the Kings Indian defense. However, beyond the first few variations will be tough for 60 year old brain.
We don’t need to memorise all the steps. Just incorporate the way of thinking
Like the video , already see another kings Indian and don’t understand, you explanation was osam ❤

2:28 the queen can be taken by the knight
Very informative and great energy. Thank you for the lessons

Longest 10 minutes of my life. Great vid though! I learned a lot
During Kasparov time this was played a lot then somebody came up with the bayonet attack and then nobody plays it anymore

A tutorial about a chess opening, but has gone deep into the middle game.
Very good😮

21:30 bad move you lose a pawn (d6)
Hi, great explanation Sir! At 16:05 why not just move Nh3 with a discovered check on the king and also attacking the queen. U lose the knight but u gain the queen. Thx.
he plays Ke1 protecting the queen
Got it. Thanks.
Arent you the tiktok guy that shows endgame strategies?
yes 😊
Kings Indian opening 💪🏻
would you recommend this as a back up to the grunfeld if white doesnt play c4?
The best way to call this is basically playing the game on the diagonal
Your are good
In the first minutes I thought you were an AI because of your envasion on reels
Is that the person who says "DA ROOK"
I am schoked because i think he is less weight (no bully) because of his sound 😂
I love your short vedios
18:39 these knights sounds like deez nuts xD
you made it to 18 min wow ! love it!
Great!
Timestamps would help your nice videos
❤❤❤❤❤
Nice
Learn king's indian defense in 10 minutes. And the video is 22 minutes long😂
6 minute abs in 10 minutes 😂
Watch in 2x speed, only 11 minutes 😅
I learned it in 10 minutes

@@forthemworthy i agree. too many concepts hard to understand for beginners
Opening move is 20 positions, move 2 is 400 etc.

Maybe I should quit on playing their line and go for queens Indian more, because 60% of games, I’ve lost in both queens gambit and London.
you can’t go wrong playing the kings indian
you gave me an idea, i will record a video to show you the best way to respond vs. the london
Wow
What if they start with the queens pawn e4
Chessescape what if the opponent takes the knight when its pin
clishy the club with maxime vachier lagrave ?
Lol the video itsself is 20 minutes long😂 btw great video✨
Thanks 😅
but the explanation is about 10 min
Fun video.
And I will only Subcribe if you make a Video about the king's Indian attack for chess beginners and I'm saying this in a happy way
2:23 who takes the queen back with the king when the knight can take back that way you dont lose your castling rights and prefent te fork
U are just perfect
i’m really not 😅 but thank you! it feels good to receive something positive in the world we live in right now 🙏🏼
What if they push e5 pawn against ur horse
11:34 what if the opponent takes on f5? What are the plans after that?
